Morrisons Wakefield - Dewsbury Road Cafe in Wakefield

Very very disappointed. All food was from frozen and Luke warm. Got the Christmas dinner and on the menu it looked lovely. We got three wafer thin slices of processed meat. It is by far the worst meal we have had ever at Morrisons. . Also no hot puddings apart from Xmas pud. Would not recommend at all. We used to really rate the cafe food but now I wouldn’t pay £8.50 for a main of this standard.

Breakfast was cold. Staff are none existent when they do appear the look is just down and miserable. And the automated ordering is not a good idea.

I came here on Saturday and Sunday. I ordered on the automatic till, not the staffed till, it was okay, it's not difficult to use, but I had to wait about 25 minutes for breakfast on Saturday, it's a good job I wasn't in a hurry, although I didn't wait long on Sunday. Delicious filling breakfast.

Ordered a vegan breakfast and portion of chips. The chips tasted weird , inside were brown.. could not eat them. My meal normally comes with toast and hash browns , there wasn't any. No one around to complain to.. waiting time 30/45 ,mins..

We were having sandwiches crips and coffees so waited at the till to pay. No one came but a very polite young lady called Nadine who was bringing out food said someone would come soon. In the end I went to get my coffees. It would appear that because most people order and pay for hot food on the self service machines the till is unmanned and the lady was sweeping floors. We paid for our food and sat down, when I tasted my crisps they were stale although the packet was in date so I went back to change them, this was fine and they were changed without fuss and I returned to my table. My wife said taste the coffee which I did and it was disgusting, it tasted like hot milk with a very bitter but weak flavouring tried mine and that was the same, one was ordinary coffee one was decaf both from the same machine. Sandwiches were fine but nothing special. Not worth the money even though it is cheaper, unfortunately this will put us off using this cafe in the future.

Cold breakfast returned and replaced and the staff said to her colleague she would have to bin it because it had brown sauce on it . Makes you wonder what you getting .

Visited yesterday, while shopping. Ordered two breakfasts A black coffee and a tea. The breakfast arrived, The eggs on both plates, very snotty Mushrooms cold. Bacon lukewarm and very fatty. Sausage ok. Beans ok Hash browns, dirty looking!!!! Tomato lukewarm. Toast ok .breakfast poor quality and tasteless Coffee and tea fine. Slow service, cafe was quite, but long delay for breakfast Would rather go to "howards cafe/tearoom) More or less the same price, but far tasty food, Served hot, cooked fresh. Will not return.....

Not a good experience, poor food very burnt sausage and bens also very dark more sauce than bean! certainly will not be returning. Having said this one staff member was very helpful so thank you to her.
