Missing items from order ! Always something with this place . They don’t check the orders properly .

Worst place on earth , waited 45 mins for burnt some thing , under cooked others , but cold breakfast , disgusting will never eat here again

Very dirty. We had to wipe the table when we sat down, food remains around the table, dirty cutlery or unwashed plates too. A very long waiting time for food, like in the busiest restaurant, but at the end there was disappointment, not delight. I don't recommend it to anyone

apparently they think eggs are vegan here as this is the second time I've been sent one. nonces.

I received amy gs order and not my own I am not pleased as I wanted a breakfast and not sausage and egg and cheese muffin or a sausage sandwich with black pudding and bacon

The half chicken I ordered was off, smelled bad right from the start. You should expect food quality controllers soon.

Just ordered a half chicken from there, it was off, smelled like bleach and wasn't even cooked properly, threw the whole thing in the trash. The salad was a bunch of leaves the size of my palm, 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and a 3 stale slices of cucumber. Terrible, just terrible. I don't know how you pass food safety inspections.

Balby Morrisons cafe has gone down hill. I've not been for some years. The place looks rough. Missing tables and chairs. And ordering wow. I had to clean the table before sitting down and I ordered cottage pie and peas and gravy. When it came it was like a pig slopes. I looked like they just throne it on the plate. I will not be visiting morrisons cafes again.

Food was good. Driver was an idiot as he refused to deliver to my address so I had to get in my car and drive to meet him to get my order.

delivery said 10:20 to 10:40, I wait in home till 11:30 and them leave due lack of time. delivery never arrive . I back to home 13:00 nothing under home.

Delivery good, food under par. Bit greasy and like it had been cooked quite a time before, will choose a different restaurant next time

Absolutely the first and last time for my family and me . Complete lack of an interest fro the staff members on duty when we complained about one of the two coffee machines one broken and the other not providing hot coffee . On enquiry was told by totally disinterested staff member that the coffe machine had not been working for a few weeks .When I asked if it had been reported was told it wasn’t her job 😡 The so called working machine was only Luke warm drinks .The queue of people was 20 mins long ,. The teapots were badly stained and rusty even on the lids .Cakes were under glass domes but no tong or cake slices were avaiable when I asked about them the reply was got none . Meaning that to get cake people would have to just get a slice not very hygienic and certainly against hygiene rules .The staff member on the till kept leaving her post to take ordered food to customers tables .Further delaying actual customers . On visiting the toilet I found then to be very clean much better than the cafe area .At least the staff member in there was very good .

Burger patties were like concrete, tasteless and chips were undercooked.

All vegetables were beautiful, Yorkshire pudding come this time lovely. This time the nut roast was completely burnt and chucked in the bin as it was rock hard so very disappointed!!

Food was poor, mushrooms were soggy and over cooked, bacon was underdone for me, and coffee had spilled all over the boxes and leaked in to the trays. Will not be ordering from here again.

Staff brilliant hard working but far to over worked they running round like headless chickens management need to get a grip with what they are asking of there staff

Absolutely gorgeous 5star for the food only reason I did a 4*was because you was very tight in the gravy and it come with no Yorkshire pudding but the vegetarian nut roast was absolutely beautiful and so was everything else. Absolutely gorgeous thank u x

Wasnt too bad, although I didnt receive my full order and the fried bread, black pudding were completely indelible.

Ordered 2 breakfast and sandwich. Tomato was missed off both breakfasts.

Ordered a breakfast but it was missing hash browns - same thing happened last time I ordered

Had a quick late breakfast, it filled the gap but was unimpressive. My poached eggs were overcooked and quite cool by the time I got them. The teapot was grubby -actually all of them were- they all need a deep clean or replacing. I've had issues with the place in the past. I think it needs managing a bit better.

Food was decent although the cafe needed some serious revamping with cracks in the ceiling. Service was questionable with half of the tables still not being cleared from the last customers with the old food still on the table. Staff charge people for regular items and then give them small.

The fish was pretty good in terms of taste but the majority of the batter was soggy with the crispy batter covering only the edges. The chips were mostly ok but the larger pieces had parts that felt under cooked but the worst of all was the mushy peas. Looking three weeks old and not tasting much better, the peas had the consistency of Play Doh left out to harden in the air and were immediately binned. The cheesecake was pretty good, although it all has a mushy consistency, the biscuit base is not hard/solid so there's no difference in texture of the main cake. The cake could also do with being lighter rather than dense and although the flavour is good the sharpness of the lemon topping can be overwhelming at times.

The breakfast was ok but thought the beans was missing when I took lid of my drinks the beans was in there and no drinks so I paid for drinks I never received

I ordered two breakfasts a few weeks ago and was delivered just toast and beans. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again today but had loads of missing items. Such a waste of time. Won't be ordering from here again.

Called in for the £10 breakfast deal, so due to price, expectations were not high. The 3 stars is for the food only, decent breakfast, although not very hot. Good thick sliced tiger bread toast with plenty butter. For the price good value. BUT the whole place is disgustingly filthy. I had to search through the cutlery for clean ones, and not just water marks, i mean dried on food. The tables needed scrubbing never mind wiping. I went into the shop and bought some cleaning wipes, to clean before i could sit and eat. What ever has happened to the cleaning everyone did during covid,its as if covid has been forgotten about. Will definitely think twice before eating there again

First time ordering and only ordered breakfast extra which was 2 scrambled eggs and a sausage as I eat keto food only, and will definitely order again. Food was still hot and everything in individual boxes haha, the scrambled eggs that nice and hot that it just came out the microwave 2 seconds before the driver delivered it haha. The sausage was still warm too. 😋

No stars from me!! But appears you have to put at least 1 star to post a review!! What is the point of this?? Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. I initially ordered through just eat. Half my items were missing. Which is surely not up to the delivery driver to check as hes packing the meals up. That lies with the cafe staff to give all that was orderd on line. The just eat delivery man dropped my food and left me to pick it up because he was afraid of a cat that was near my front door. He was so rude . So not only half my order was missing I literally had it thrown at me. Shall not be ordering again. Absolute sham

It's great there is no plastic but do you really need to use that much cardboard for food. I ordered 2 breakfasts extra toast and a sausage sandwich. I recieved it but in 6-7 boxes with two cardboard tubs for beans. Please cut the cardboard waste and put the breakfast in one box with beans separate would be sufficient

My food wasn’t delivered. The driver was abusive and hung up the phone I’m appealed and disgusted I want a full refund to my bank and will never be using just eat again. Outraged doesn’t even explain it

Do not waste your money on the breakfast it was disgusting toast rock hard black pudding rock hard bacon under cooked tomatoe under cooked the mushrooms also under cooked and the beans was very watery avoid this place at all costs

Awful. Used to enjoy a meal in the cafe when shopping. Not just this Morrison’s but a few. Seems the prices have gone up but food quality has gone down. Just a coffee for me in future. Will eat elsewhere.

Had an early start on Grandad/Noon care, plus school run. Onward to Morrisons for a delicious brekky/bacon butty. Overall excellent food, good drinks & excellent service. Couldn't fault our visit.

Never going Back, used to be alright, it's since changed so you can't swap items on the breakfast and charge 75p per extra item instead... (the "chef's" aren't competent at remembering everything on a standard breakfast, nevermind swapping things out now) the last 4 times we've been there have ALWAYS forgotten something... they have one job imagine been that bad at a basic job... then 3 of us get our full english (all have something different missing again) but, at which point our friend who is still waiting for hers gets told "sorry we have no poached eggs on toast, but we can do fried"..... they seriously can't poach an egg or be bothered to do one that isn't in a batch, when the cafe is dead, not busy at all?!? Instead they would rather get a manager to refund the £2.50 for the egg on toast which took over 10 minutes... (she refused to have a fried egg out of principle and how they mess up every order the last 4 times +)... truly pathetic service, incompetent staff, i only feel sorry for the servers getting the brunt of it while it's the NVQ level 1 in using a microwave "chefs" they employ and the lack of training/management they have. Funy how they run out of bacom, eggs, sausage, hash browns or what ever, go to isle 22 and get some 😆.. rant over, never returning. Woodfield farm do a breakfast buffe for £4.99 acorss the road, way better service and value for money. It's not worth the headache going to morrisons even if It's half price.

Cold breakfast items. Warmed bread instead of toast. Raw, slightly warmed "grilled" tomato. No sauces available. No butter available. Uncaring, disinterested staff. Shall NEVER be back...!!

The place was filthy, the floors were bad, the tables worse. Even the “clean” trays were dirty. Some of the menu wasn’t available, what did arrive could barely pass for food, I would not feed it to the pigs. Needless to say we won’t be eating at Morrison’s again.

Arrived for lunch Monday 16th August, service was not too good. Have removed some points as you could order on the app but had to collect own tea and sugar etc which sort of defeated the object (we are still being cautious due to covid) My husband had a cheeseburger which was fine. I had Chicken tikka masala which was not too warm, could have been heated better but nice flavour. My naan bread was cold and dry, naan should be warm and moist. Quite reasonable for the price though. Was also a bit of confusion as husband gave the wrong table number, he went back to the counter to give correct table number and the server said" I will tell the kitchen staff but they won't listen "? We had to wave to the server as she was obviously taking our order to the wrong table. She was very pleasant though. Probably would not return here.

First time trying the cafe again since covid and it was horrible and nothing like it used to be. Very limited menu, no sandwiches in the chiller and very limited cakes. Coffee machine not working and staff said it hadn't been working for days and didn't know when would be fixed as manager was on sick. Tables and floors were disgusting and wasn't been cleaned after use. Food was very average and a lot smaller portions compared to how they used to be. Definitely won't be returning

Not been in this Morrisons Balby store for a long while. Had hot drinks & cake in the Morrisons barista cafe. Drinks & cake was lovely. Service friendly & efficient. Value for money too. Good visit.

Such a shame you can no longer swap breakfast items. Instead you can say, I'm allergic to certain mushrooms so can i swap that for say a half tomato or egg,... No longer allowed free of charge.... Any extra item is charged at 75p Even half a tomato!!!, Come on?!! Extra bacon I paid for didn't come til nearly finished or the egg on the small breakfast never came And by this time we'd finished eating anyhow So gave up on it. Little wonder the cafe was empty. All the changes have lost customers

Been into the cafe today 20th May, we went to have breakfast on the website it is advertised as regular breakfast that's just enough for us, we were told no such breakfast any more even though it says new on the website we were told the breakfast is one size (large)but we could take things off if we wanted how stupid is that I think morrisons needs to get their act together we didn't eat in the cafe we went elsewhere feel like morrisons have really let diner's down

Not a fan of this cafe in particular, very unorganised, feels like staff have been thrown in at the deep end with no training. The wait is so long, you see all the food under the hotplate as the small pass waiting and waiting and waiting to be picked up and taken out which seems to take forever, by the time you get it, it's cold. Cannot complain on price but but is this the compromise for bad service. The barista cafe when you enter the supermarket though is great for a fast service. Hot coffee and one of the best hot chocolates I've had from a takeaway service.

Went in today very disappointing lots of tables not cleared nobody seems to be clearing up and no coffee available not recommended at present.

It's a cafe in Morrison's... had the lasagna, and it was hotter than the surface of the sun when it arrived. It was also a little oily but overall okay.

Morrison's are number one always

Breakfasts are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately the fried eggs tend to be very hard. Cheese and bacon omelette is very tasty.

Best in Donny. Stayed at Premier Inn & they wanted £12 for breakfast. Came here. All freshly cooked, very good quality. OJ, latte & eggs Benedict for £7! Quality & value - could be an slogan for a supermarket 😂

Good value for money and decent service. Highly recommend the Fish & Chips - authentic lightly battered fish and handcut chunky chips...yum!

The staff were very helpful, pointing out all the items on the menu that contained gluten for my vegan wife. They had no soy milk.
