Morrisons Cannock Cafe in Cannock Chase

Bit of a poor experience. Staff were miserable. I ordered a large breakfast and the majority of it was over cooked. Bacon was in-edable. Butter was non existent.

we went to morrisons for a small shop and visited the cafe and treated ourselves to afternoon tea for 2. it was brilliant for the price, with sandwiches pork pie cake and scones with clotted cream and jam. the meals also looked very good, the cafe was very clean and well spaced out and the staff fab, will definately return.

Its so useful to have somewhere to have a cup of coffee and a snack after completing the shopping. The coffee is good, there is a varied food menu.Usually I only go for a snack or perhaps a delicious fresh crem cake

Whilst out shopping early one morning at our local Morrisons store my wife and myself were feeling hungry so we decided to try the in store café. As we entered the menu board was by the entrance. For breakfast we had a choice of the Big Daddy breakfast which had 3 of everything, the big breakfast, which was 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 hash browns, fried bread, tomatoes, baked beans and mushrooms, with a choice of poached, scrambled or fried egg, and a small breakfast, which was 1 of everything. Also available were builders breakfast sarnies, and a choice of toast with baked beans or eggs. We opted for the big breakfast for me, and the small for my wife. Coffee and toast completed the order. The eating area itself was light and airy and impressively clean. We had to go to a self serve counter for the drinks and to order, but the food when cooked was brought to our table. It arrived in impressive time, and was hot and tasty. Also, as requested runny eggs. (So many places seem unable or unwilling to serve runny eggs these days) As we ate the place started to fill up, and it was evident that many of the other customers were regular visitors. With the total bill just over £13 pounds we considered it good value for money. The café is accessed on the flat so suitable for wheelchairs and people with mobility problems, and a large car park with up to 2 hours free parking. Food is served all day, so well worth a visit if shopping instore, as some fantastic food deals, especially for families.
