Morrisons Cafe Falkirk in Falkirk

Went in on Sunday 22/sept/ 2024 at one pm. Food a lot better than b4 & pleasant service from Rachael. Here r some photos & you can see the other side of my toast it's only 1/8 th done 😂

Great food and staff, my son and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch and we plan to come back soon.....................................

Square sausage under cooked and I mean undercooked, egg rubby like it had been sitting awhile. Even the bacon was undercooked. Coffee machine had issues with it and the lady just pressed the alert icon and say nothing wrong but everyone was having issues with it. Even the lady who sure our food looked extremely fed up and not very friendly. Sorry but definitely will not be back, can't serve food raw.

Ordered an all day breakfast and coffee on the touch screen and waited, and waited and waited in total about 40minutes. During this time my wife enquired twice where my food was really got little help. When it eventually came I went to get my coffee and cutlery. Surprise surprise no forks, no coffee cups and coffee machine needed emptied. Breakfast was warm but not hot, my tatties scones were like carpet tiles and when I separated them I found 2 crispy chips in-between. Obviously all done in the same deep fat fryer. Wife was already in the store doing the shopping by the time I finished. All in all in was once a great little cafe but has seriously gone downhill.

What a disaster this place has become. What happened? Ordering at til. Family in front was stuck for 10 mins while lady on till tried to find the items they had ordered. We ordered. Ahe couldn't find the little yoghurt during my boy had chosen and I eventually told her not to bother. Was supposed to be kids eat for free but at table I realised I had been charged. Couldn't be bothered waiting forever to sort that so left it. Took about 45 minutes for the (not great) food to arrive. Chips appeared to have been cooked in very dirty oil. Poor family who ordered in front of us were still waiting when we were leaving - and looked thoroughly fed up. Long story short - just don't bother going here. Life is too short to waste so much time for such poor service and food. While we were eating a posse of deliveroo type guys gathered and surrounded our unfortunately chosen table. Not exactly a pleasant experience.

There is now reduced & overworked staff at what used to be an excellent cafe & the touch screen menu is suffering from an electronic glitch so I ordered my coffee & roll at the till but you have to choose a table 1st & it was all downhill from thereon which resulted in a cold bacon roll & no coffee, the cutlery was dirty as was the table, Ken Morrison must be turning in his grave as the new American owners have wrecked his creation.

Sausage was uncooked, items were missing and bacon wasn't cooked properly. Very disappointed 😥 🤮 🏃

Hadn’t been here in a while so thought I would go in for a late breakfast with my mum, ordered at the order point and took a seat, went to get our drinks from the self service drinks, both drinks had no fizz and completely flat, went to buy another drink and told the woman on the till about the machine she said I can only apologise then charged us again for replacement didn’t look like she cared at all. waited a while on our food, wish I could say it was worth the wait, I ordered boiled egg and toast expecting it to be runny egg like in the photo, eggs were hard and very over cooked, my mum ordered poached egg and toast, again eggs were hard. While we were in about 4 teenagers on school lunch sat at a table to eat lunch which had been bought at one of the counters in the shop, the same woman was very rude to them telling them they couldn’t sit there, they offered to buy something from the cafe to sit down and they were told quite rudely to go outside, even when one of the boys went to put rubbish in the bin he was told to get out and put it in an outside bin!! She then started walking about the cafe speaking to other customers about this. I feel that teenagers get a bad name but these boys were not once rude and didn’t deserve the way they were spoken to. Awful service, awful staff and overcooked food. We will find another place to go for breakfast next time

Went to Morrisons for Breakfast food was good and the staff on service were doing their best. The Cafe is greatly under staffed same woman who takes payment had to clear tables, deliver meals and clean. We were lucky got our meals fairly quickly but shortly afterwards customers were being informed that there was a minimum of 30 minute wait for meals. Witnessed customers leaving without ordering anything. Surely this is counter productive, They need to wake and deal with customers properly

After 50 minutes waiting time for order, they told me that they dont have my order today. Zero organization, staff really rude and poor. Not recomended.

Really disappointing visit. Food was very poor. So much so I left 2/3rd of my meal. It was cold and it felt like it was left over food reheated. Tables were left not cleared

Overcooked poached eggs, dirty tables so as cups and cutlery. Stuff rude and ignoring. Turned nice family breakfast into bad experience. Definitely not recommending.

I have never been in a more disorganised cafe! I visited today and ordered a cheese toastie. No cutlery no salt tomato or brown sauce and loads of dirty uncleared tables although I saw at least three members of staff. Waited 30 minutes and noticed a lot of other people asking about their food. I asked after 45 minutes to be told it would be at least another 40 minutes! Shocking dirty place - we got a full refund. Four other tables were doing the same. The older members of staff are really rude - it’s clear they hate working there and they kept disappearing. This place needs shut down. It’s a shame because it has great potential- lovely cafe but needs proper management and more efficient nicer staff. Awful place.

Waited 20 mins on breakfast for it to arrive cold and virtually raw. Looked like it was held under the hot tap to cook it. Disgusting! Asked for refund which felt like a total hassle to the staff. Waited about another 30 mins for the refund to get sorted. Even then the staff struggled to get it right. Complete waist of time. Avoid !!!!

Had been readying after a trip out, to attend to some shopping and then have a meal at the Café, Morrisons Falkirk. All indications pointed to it being open. [till 6pm].. The disappointment was palpable when we reached the café, thought it strange that it was so quiet, in fact EMPTY of customers only to find at the order point, the café was closed. This was ten minutes to four in the afternoon. No other signage or explanation. Come on Morrisons. If you're not going to keep to your advertised times, at least have the decency to put adequate signage AND change your online information.

My wife and I had just done our food shopping and decided to have lunch in the customer cafe...waited in a massive queue st least 20mins to order. Ordered 2 x Brunch Breakfasts and 2 lots of toast. The brunch on the menu was 2 Square Sausage 2 bacon, 2 fried eggs, 1 mushroom ,half a tomato, flat cap mushroom and chips. I asked to have the mushroom removed from mine as I'm not a fan, no worries she said. 20 mins later food arrives and both were served with 2 link Sausages, (not Square) 1 bacon, 2 Flat cap mushrooms, 1 egg (not 2) half a tomato and beans. I told the server i don't like mushrooms, links and only 1 egg. She tutted and said that's what's on the menu I showed her and she said she will get the Square Sausage and extra egg for me...15 mins later still nothing..I called her over and her response was we are too busy for this right now, if you want to complain ask for the store manager....cheeky ignorant old cow. Will never use cafe again uts an absolute joke of a place!!!

I was served by a lady named Wendy in the cafe on Friday the 11th, she was very polite and attentive, would highly recommend! Will definitely be going back.

Went this morning to sample the extensive breakfast menu. Selected the eggs benedict and was really disappointed. Eggs were boiled within an inch of their lives and as for the hollandaise sauce, thought this came from someone's tissue. Don't think I will be back.

Prawn sandwich for lunch on Monday I am now on day three of food poisoning as on opening the last sandwich which I was sharing with my father the prawns were green! Yip green! Visited here for first time with a group of friends. Loved the restaurant, very comfortable place for a night out. The menu was really good and difficult to make a choice so I asked the waiter for help!! Very good food, and attentive staff.

En comparación con otros Morrison era desagradable. Pedimos con mi desayuno extra haggis y era hard rock saudage wss 800 huevos cocinados hecha y tostadas en un estado tenía modifico dubitativamante tostadora. Una chica preguntó si estaba bien, ya que comimos poco me aconsejaron su mis inquietudes y ella entramos.

Pedimos dos platos calientes mientras estábamos esperando a mi nieta en su clase de gimnasia. Debería haber sido capaz de comer nuestra comida y hacer una tienda. En su lugar, tuvimos que abandonar nuestra comida, aunque hunt para cajas personal no dejaron llevar alimentos a nuestras comidas. Pequeño equipo luchando para lidiar con los pedidos y nuestra comida tardó 40 minutos en llegar.

Café en el supermercado. Solía ser muy bueno y excelente relación calidad-precio, pero recientemente son tan corto no se borran las mesas staffedthat y hay a menudo una larga espera para el té y el café. Esta es mi tercera visita y como no fue atraído por las dos primeras CREO QUE ME estos chicos otra oportunidad. El café ha dado un cambio de imagen impresionante con elegantes mesas y sillas de estilo cabaña que parece muy atractivo. El café no estaba lleno (1.30pm un sábado). Desgraciadamente este lugar todavía sigue siendo mal organizado. Me acerqué a la señora que estaba en el mostrador de la orden en la parte delantera de la cafetería. Antes de poder realizar un pedido amablemente, me dijeron que había una demora de 20 minutos para la comida caliente. Lo ridícula es que? Así, Morrison Café, eso es todo, me temo. En una fábrica de tratarles mal viene a la mente. Nunca volveré.

Good little reastaurant , very popular with shoppers. Recently updated, giving the place a fresh clean look. Staff helpful and will help customers if they need it. Portion sizes good and good selection of sandwiches.

Went for dinner before doing a shop and ordered hunters chicken and it was hard chicken at 1 end and then pink at the other, the cheese wasn't even melted and the bbq sauce was like water. My mum got the lasagne and there was a puddle of water at either end of the dish. The drinking machine needed the syrup topped up in the cold and asked the guy to change it and it never got done. The till had crashed so the guy took our order by hand and sent it to the kitchen, the woman who brung our food out was very rude! We never had a table number/card and said to the woman we were never given one and she was like you should have and then took our food away to bring it back out a minute or so later and her attitude didn't change either. I asked if there was any more tomato sauce as there was none on the shelf to which I was told there was none with an attitude as she was walking away. Will defiantly not be back.

There is a nice great value full scottishbreakfast.Also the fish and chips is nice.The price is great .

Can't beat Morrisons for value. Nothing fancy but tasty food. My favourites are the fish and chips and the macaroni cheese. Can't understand why it doesn't have a higher overall score

I ate there last week after being away for a couple of months. Their food was good, as it always is. The new seating in the cafe in Falkirk was very acceptable. Tables not fixed down and chairs are moveable. A pleasant change. The cafe now seems brighter and it is airy.

Reasonable prices, clean and always enjoy the food. Thumbs up from me! Today when I was in for breakfast with hubby the new look cafe is lovely, fresh and clean. Loving all the little teapots dotted around the place.

Really great fry ups, great price very cheap and an extensive lunch menu as well. Would not go anywhere else for a breakfast

For the price the food is acceptable. I would not go there for dinner but if shopping in the supermarket would stop for lunch.

So morrisons always has a good selection of food. However everytime I've been to the Falkirk branch cafe, the same guy behind the till never smiles nor engages in conversation. Due to my disability I need help to take tray over to my table and collect cutlery and milk etc for my tea, when asked he sighs and tries to look around and huffs then does it and doesn't do it with great customer service. I thought it was a one off but it happens everytime!

This is what it is a supermarket selling hot food, poor food at that. Even tea and coffee out of a self vending machine that speaks volumes don't go save your money and go home and make somit. Sorry but that's the way it is.

Attended there recently and have visited in the past when I found it quite good. Recent visit however was very poor with very slow staff on the payment till who was obviously in training. After waiting 35 minutes for food I had paid for I was forced to return to the till and have my money refunded.This is a shame as a good cafe with cheap tasty food is being spoiled simply due to the fact that there is now not enough staff on duty due to its popularity

Went in to the cafe after doing a small shop.The cafe was clean and bright.Have been here before and never had any complaints. This time however I was really disappointed. The baked potato with pulled pork was quite good. The salad on the other hand was terrible. The rocket leaves were wilting. The lettuce leaf had brown parts, showing it was long past its best. One or two cherry tomatoes halved and one or small cucumber cubes two cucumbers and that was the salad. It was rather tasteless and dry.

I have had lunch here twice in the past six months and I am sad to say I have been woefully disappointed. On the first occasion, the cafe was busy with a queue extending the full length of the servery. However, I thought Morrison's had a great system whereby you order at the first desk in the cafe, you get a number which you display at your seat and to my mind the food gets prepared immediately so that by the time you have reached the one solitary till to pay for your meal then you find a seat, the food should arrive in no time. Not so. On the first occasion I ordered macaroni and cheese - not exactly an extravagant dish that needs detailed preparation. My miserably small microwaved portion arrived 15 minutes after I sat down - by then my coffee was finished -free top ups or even apologies non existent. On Saturday 28th June around 2pm I decided to give the cafe another try especially as it was quiet. I ordered a baked potato with cheese and coleslaw at the first port of call, poured a coffee at the self service area just before the checkout, then paid for my order. I selected a seat and sat down and patiently waited for my meal. The baked potato arrived exactly 23 minutes later. Come on Morrison's, how can you possibly justify that length of wait? It cost me just over a fiver for a coffee, shrivelled up little potato, spoonful of shredded cheese with a side portion of coleslaw and salad. Again the coffee was long since finished when the miserly portion of food reached my table. This is a first class supermarket, sited in a great area of Falkirk with ample parking. Just a shame that the cafe does not match the obvious high standards of this particular store. The Morrison supermarkets in Stirling and Alloa seem to treat cafe customers with more respect and certainly with more urgency.On a final note, like other reviewers of Morrison's Cafe, I agree that the cutlery is filthy. Surely, in this day and age, the company can invest in a reliable industrial dishwasher. If the store decides to give the cafe some serious thought and much needed improvements perhaps I might return otherwise I will avoid this cafe at all costs.

This is a supermarket cafe and Everytime I have ate here I've been really disappointed. The food is bland and the service is often poor. The cutlery is very often unclean as well. In all honesty you don't expect greatness when you eat in a supermarket cafe, but you do expect better than this.

This is a typical supermarket cafe, the setting is fine, plenty of tables to sit at. Quick service and okay for a snack when you are out shopping and don't have a great deal of time. The sandwiches i must admit were very fresh and the choice of fillings are good, also there is plenty filling in them the prawns were oozing out of mine and there was loads of chicken in my husbands. Would go back again if time permits next time i go there for my shopping.

Having used this place for a few years now sadly it has gone downhill , sandwich's are not as fresh as they used to be , the tea/coffee you get from the machine taste's like dish water , cutlery I have had to change due to not being washed properly staff couldn't care less , sad as this was so nice at one time , Morrisons needs to get on top of things .

Stopped in breakfast. The staff member who served us at the till, Caroline, was absolutely miserable. If you are working with the public you should have a certain amount of personality. It doesn't make customers feel welcome if staff can't at least be pleasant. The staff who delivered our food was pleasant and had a lovely smile. The big breakfast was delicious except for the tomato. Dried and shrivelled. Not impressed. Everything else lovely and plenty of it.

I really don't understand the rush for this place. It is situated next to the fish monger and it absolutely stinks of fish throughout, not to mention the reek of wee wee that is permanently soaked into the furniture. Nevertheless the elderly seem to love it and it suits the consumers. Carry on.

I have been going here for years and it is usually good although they don't always get everything right but whenever I've complained it has been rectified and sometimes the quality of food changes and service (depends who is on shift) they do deals on baked potatoes and toasties and children eat free with each adult paying on weekdays which is good value, my kids love coming here. Breakfasts are good, so are cakes, they do a sandwich,cream scone and pot of tea platter which is nice. Its a good wee cafe which is always quite busy which is a good sign.

Their link sausages are delicious and I often pop in for a roll on sausage and a pot of Cha. They also do some good offers on main meals which are pretty good taste and value.

My sister and I have just experience terrible service and food at Morrisons Falkirk cafe. To assure you that I am not complaining for no reason, I'd like to point out that my nieces kids meal and my mothers sandwich and scone were very nice and value for money. Where the cafe failed drastically was on mine and my sisters baked potatoes and the service from employees. My sister ordered a baked potato with cheese and I ordered with chilli and cheese. We waited in excess of 20 minutes for the potatoes to arrive by which time the rest of our party had finished eating - not ideal. My sister was horrified to see that her baked potato had been microwaved. The cheese was literally stuck to the potato. In addition, the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes cooked. Mines was clearly microwaved but I thought I could life with it - wrong! On inspecting my potato further I realised it was in a pool of water which clearly had come out of the microwaved salad - yummy? Amy had proceeded to complain to the girl at the till named Jess who rolled her eyes and told Amy to take a seat she would deal with it. When Amy came back to the table, I'd decided that my potato was too disgusting for consumption! I stopped a girl who passed by to give her it and she asked if I wanted another by this point we'd lost faith and requested our money be returned. Jess stormed over to the table with the offending potato in hand and demanded to know what was wrong. My sister explained it had been microwaved and the cheese was hard and stuck solid. Amy also explained mine had even returned. It's not been microwaved I can assure you said Jess. Now there are a few problems with this statement 1st yes it clearly has been microwaved 2nd how can Jess assure me of anything in terms of how the potato was cooked as she was standing at a till and not in the kitchen and 3rd I don't expect a member of staff to confront me in this way just put through my refund. My sisters immediate response was to laugh at this ridiculous statement which Jess followed up with its been under the heat lamp. Again, how long had the potatoes been under a heat lamp to cause this melting?? It's no better than them being microwaved! Jess stormed off when we didn't agree and said she needed the receipt. Members of staff then process the refund. The problem with this entire interaction is not that mistakes being made but the lack of consideration from staff or an apology for error. I think it was being taken as a personal attack which it wasn't intended. I think our dinners were sitting under the heat lamp for too long and some genius decided to microwaved them and send them out. All the employees had to do was apologise for the bad potatoes and make us another one. The attitude in Falkirk Morrisons is unacceptable and as the company is trying to reduce prices to increase custom, I think they are doing it a disservice.

When we arrived nearly every table had dirty plates etc. piled up on then and nobody seemed interested in clearing them. We had to clear our table by pilling the dishes up on another table. The staff would bring food out but went back to the kitchen without clearing any tables. We had to wait some time for our food and when it arrived it was cold. Not a good advert for a major supermarket.

Very untidy and can be littered with used crockery. There does not seem to be any direction by anyone in charge. Dirty unkempt service area. Staff do try there best but the system does not let them keep the place clean and tidy. prices and food are good.

A decent supermarket restaurant with very reasonable prices. Very average but it doesn't claim to be anything else. If you are looking for a cheap filling meal or a cheap coffee and a bun after the shopping, look no further.

Excellent for breakfast good food good price and good choice. We go here most mornings for breakfast whilst visiting family. Plenty of choice and overall it is very good.

Had the breakfast here, they have a good choice from large breakfasts to toasties. All at a good price. Can be busy on a sunday 11am-12pm best to avoid visting at this time if you can.
