Morrisons Cafe in Glasgow City

We had fish and chips. Had them a few times over the years and they were lovely. Today, horrible. Batter was brown and hard, fish was very dry and hard. Horrible. Waitress said it was previously cooked and then warmed up. She offered us another one and it was a lot different, batter was golden and fish was quite tasty. However, we won't go.back again as we were looking forward to.it. My partner is 83 and I am 78 and we were very upset by this. Will not be back.

The worst fried egg I have ever been presented with. Slimy, disgusting and sickly. The breakfast was not even hot. Total waste of money.

No cups available No sugar Coffee machine not working Self service screen not working

30 minutes wait food was awful and overpriced. Stay well clear . Cafe across the road .

Will Defo NOT B Back, Cups Where Badly Stained, Tables Where Dirty. Guy At Counter There Had A Clue. Told Him Cups Where Dirty He Carried On Putting Em Out. Spoke With Manager And She Blamed It On the 2 New Starts. If I Wasn’t With My Older Neighbour I Would Of Walked Out.

Food cold macaroni looked and tasted like sick sent food back all 4 of us did not enjoy any of it

Cheap and cheerful but not particularly healthy. Staff friendly, tables clean.

Lovely food and you can refill your hot drinks free which is great considering it costs £1-95 for a cappuccino great atmosphere too love it here

We got the builders butty. The square sausage was like rubber overcooked, the roll fell apart as if had been frozen then defrosted. Potato scones were solid overall very disappointed.

STAFF CAN BE NICE SERVICE SLOW FOOD MAYBE COLD WHEN IT ARRIVES FOOD MAY NOT TO BE EVERY ONES TASTE BUT THEY DO THERE BEST CAN BE A NOISY SHOP ALARMS MAY GO OF FOR NO APPARENT REASON BUT OK .

There was no one at the till to order or pay for food. I waited ages to get served along with an elderly man who was struggling to stand for so long. When I eventually placed my order, the toasty took 15mins to come, by which time my coffee, (which was the only thing that was nice), was finished. Every ('clean') knife I picked up to use actually had food sticking to it! I returned the whole container to a staff member who grabbed it and walked away while I was speaking to her! The table we sat at had been wiped but it was all smears and sticky. I checked other tables but they were all the same. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience! I would love to know who is responsible for letting this cafè go right down the hill!

Cheap enough but the food can be bland. I got breakfast here and the square sausage wasn't at all good, the rest of the items were OK though and it didn't cost much. Might go again but not for breakfast. They sometimes do kids eat free deals at tea time with a decent selection of meals on the menu

Excellent cafe, I recommend the Big Scottish Breakfast, mmmm and only £4.80. Served up until 3pm.

The food tastes so bland I wish they would fix that I have been a couple of times but sorry I wont go back

Foods ok, not brilliant - standard cafè fare. However, it's fairly cheap especially with the "kids eat free" offer after 3pm and the staff are lovely!

Excellent for a store cafe. Relaxing when on one's own and a great place as a group or to meet- use it a lot.
