Morrisons Birtley Cafe in Gateshead

Called for a bacon butty before work at 8am Friday morning Not one other customer in cafe Bun was stail, bacon cold, my first visit to Birtley and definitely the last, come on please absolutely terrible

Foods always lovely. There's a lady called Margaret who is amazing with her customers. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Prices are reasonable too.

They gave me the wrong breakfast when I am deeply hated by eggs and I hate them as well . I customised my order for no mushroom and no egg and you engorged me and and that’s not kind 😭😭😭

Cheerful staff and usually quick service. Some meals are lacking inspiration but a decent choice on the menu.

I only go for brekkie n always they are spot on! I like to keep self to self but of interaction I have with staff they are always friendly n helpful. I Always make my own but have nearly full brekkie everything but bacon n hash browns. delicious!

Went late in the afternoon to the cafe two of us ordered scampi with mushy peas. It had a strange chemical test the scampi itself was like rubber no taste very poor

Friendly Service and low, low prices. I recommend the porridge as it is the best I have had and Ive started 5 star. The full breakfast looked good but I didn't have one. The restaurant can get busy. If you are staying in the nearby hotels in Washington, e.g. The Premier inn, Campagnelle and the Holiday Inn then come here instead.
