Morrisons Alness Cafe in Highland

Up there on holiday went for breakfast 3 mornings staf were great Nichole served us very friendly and helpful. I made a mistake in my order and June sorted it, no fuss she was happy to help. I'm in a wheelchair and I went to toilet Nichole held the door as she was passing. Clean roomy toilet. Clean tables, all over Clean Will be back next te I'm up there TOP MARKS TO THEM ALL

Typical supermarket Cafe. Unpretentious food. All the usual greasy fry up suspects but reasonably well done. Bacon roll not bad. Coffee not so good.

Ordered scrambled eggs in toast. June the lady who served us was lovely and very helpful. As you can see, the scrambled egg on toast is beautifully done. Lovely thick bread. Compared to Morrisons in Inverness which was terrible for the same lunch. 10 out of ten for this.

I've been cycling around Scotland for a week. This cafe is how to end the week on a low. Unfriendly and no one bothering to clear tables. Almost no gluten free offerings which is disgraceful considering they have a supermarket of choice.

I used to go every day for breakfast stopped going because we noticed the general hygiene in the in the service area had dramatically changed also the food is left in hot plate all day drying up and overcooked the food is just flung on the plate toast not Cooked fried egg looks like they have been draged round the carpark it's a shame because it used to be the best for breakfast in the area I don't know how the management don't pick up on how downhill it has gone it's beyond me and the whole community talk about it been rank pretty sure other morrisons cafe don't serve there food like alness one please get it back to the way it should be

Cafe food and staff is superb! Fish and chips is really good. Only minor downside is that it’s a little cold as it’s near the door.

This place is a total shambles 🙃 No tables cleared Drinks machines constantly broken,customer service shocking Tables all needing cleared severely under staffed.been in here on more than one occasion and it's been excactly the same.

What a difference to our recent experience s at both Morrison cafes at Boroughbridge and Perth. We arrived for breakfast to break our journey south. The staff were happy and more than obliging. The breakfasts were excellent and hot and served super quickly. This the best Morrison breakfast experienced recently. Thank you.

Horrible service especially towards the infants can just tell they arnt bothered one bit food was just as cold as there dirty looks

Just off the A9 so a handy stopping point for a quick cup of coffee on the way North. It's a basic cafe with no frills, coffee is cheap and cakes/patries are good value

Absolutely beautiful had a lovely lunch ,staff were so helpful this is the place to go if you want something to eat place spotless .recommend it to anyone this is not our first time .

We're quite good regulars at this cafe, we had a lovely afternoon tea at our last visit, great value and excellent quality. Always clean and tidy, this is one of the best supermarket cafés in my opinion, highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible. Never been in the restaurant before. So after doing our shopping decided we would go for a full Scottish breakfast. As we walked in the entrance avoice from behind the coffee machine screamed at us to fill in a track and detect form. That's fine i understand the rules which have been in place for over a year. Don't need to be told so loudly that other people around looked to see what was happening . We were then told they had just stopped doing the fry up. We had missed it! There's ways to talk to guests!! Service not great. Think she was a bit fed up that day. Told the lady the hand sanitizer was empty, i passed it to her, i expected to get a new one to use! Nope, it was left on the counter next to the coffee machine. Pointless filling in the form as i still have it!! Your system isn't working! Luckily i won't report you. Just hope you don't get an inspection any time soon. Just to top it off, your regular guest's moaned because we'd sat at their table!!! Never saw reservation signs. Cheese toastie was shocking, don't know where the filling was. Salad was a joke, handful of pre cut bagged lettuce leaves and a cherry tom in half!!!! Will never recommend this restaurant.

Asked for no tomatoes and mushrooms with a breakfast but wasn't aloud to add an egg instead I was told I would have to pay extra which is a bit cheeky in my opinion. Guy was being trained by a manager and was being spoken to like a piece of dirt on his shoe which made me feel uncomfortable. Food was OK, for the price. First time for me sitting in at Alness and I won't be visiting again. Inverness Morrisons appear to be much better.

Popped in for breakfast & boy what a fantastic one it was.....mega size for £5:50 could only just manage it !!

Need to check the temperature of the coffee machine more regularly coffee was cooler than it should have been

Stopped in for breakfast, not to bad for the money.

We go a few times a year, it's a decent breakfast and along with hot drinks for 3 was a few pence over £20 so price wise is fantastic but let down slightly by the food temperature with mushrooms being barely warm as well as the fried egg. The hands on manager however never fails to impress, always digging in helping out on the floor - kudos to him 👏

Cold, food OK, staff complaining about other customers. So find another job, simple.

Meal was very good. Coffee was luke warm.

The cafe offers a good selection of freshly prepared food, including a take away service. This morning I stopped by for breakfast before walking to Tain, now just having a late lunch. Service was friendly and everything prepared freshly. Social distancing measures are in place throughout the cafe.

Cheap but they said they're microwave wasn't working so could only order breakfast food. Only 12 o'clock and only one kind of sandwich on shelf. If your using a highchair, definitely use a dettol wipe before hand

It's a handy stop off on the road north - tasty snacks and petrol next door.

The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time.

Two of us chose the Small Scottish Breakfast, we both asked for crispy bacon and it was done to perfection. The whole breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return regularly.

Visited Morrisons cafe in Alness a few times now and had several great meals at great prices..Service is great also and will return in the future..

Nice cafe type food. Usually offers for free kids meals with adult meals. Staff always friendly

The staff are nice, and i could see & say they are under pressure... The food is awful, & was told we would have to wait for over an hour for the fresh chicken.. Choice is very limited, the sandwich choice is boring & they looked dry, and fillings very sparse! You get what you pay for, but i would rather pay a pound more for quality.. i will never eat here again. Please take note of my comments.. You might get more customers if you up the filing choices & use better quality food..

Not good tonight. Husband waited ages for his CHIPS while he already had his meal. CHIPS awfully. AND fish was off the menu . Gave one star only because had to would not have given any. Also no servietts.

I only had a latte and it was ok.

I called in for breakfast for my trip up to Alness visiting friends. The staff were always polite and courteous, a credit to Morrisons.

Fabulous value for money and great service.

Went here to get breakfast to be told there's no black pudding. I mean come on, your a supermarket, go onto the shop floor and get some or should customers buy their own and get discount off their meal.

Standard inexpensive cafe - coffee is the milder roast I like, decent menu, nice and convenient for shoppers.

Morris ons, to me looks clean as soon as you enter the supermarket. Meats, veg looks fresh and Morrisons have a good mix of goods on show. The cafe has a great deal regarding special meal deals for kids and their parents. Try it and see!

Yummy, plentiful and good value for money Could do with being hotter more often than not however.

Last time we ate here my daughters food was under cooked and mine was over cooked. Haven't been back because we were then ill for 3 days with stomach cramps and sickness

Poor service placed an order for an full breakfast and an roll and sausage the full breakfast never had.all the food and the roll and sausage was warm we placed the order at 12.30pm and it took nearly 25 minutes for it to come to the table definitely not going bk in an hurry poor poor service
