Morrisons in Tameside

The staff left us stould at the counter for about 20, mins whilst they was laughing and joking with each other. When she finally turned up she looked at me as if I had done something wrong .. when I ordered the breakfast she said it be about a hour . The restaurant was nearly empty , I gave up waiting after 1,1/2 hours .

Grim environment. All staff look miserable. Hardly any customers in today, still a half-hour wait for cooked food.

Food is awful chips and beans where looking like yesterdays every time we go can taste the chip fat in your mouth hours after . Wait to be served is ridiculous recommendations anywhere else other than here. Every time we order they don’t have and then when you get alternatives they give you the wrong food. Used to be good but not anymore from now on will go else where

CAFE - been working in Hyde last 2 months and apart from the food its pretty poor. Its only 10 deg this morning and they got the aircon blowing a storm. Broken apparently. At least the coffee machine is working this morning.

Everytime we go at the minute it's a 40 minute wait and only 1 person in the kitchen. The foods lovely but they need more staff

* Nobody on the till * Touchscreen machine for orders ~ which doesn’t get wiped down after each use and may be difficult for partially sighted or elderly. Also didn’t add my breakfast after my coffee which I then had to make a separate order for which was time consuming and a queue was forming behind me. * scrambled egg looks like it had milk added which made it tasteless, slimy and left a greasy film on the roof of my mouth! * No mushrooms on my small English breakfast no option to add them! * lukewarm sausages * scorched beans ~ came in a ramekin obviously over pinged in microwave. * Touchscreen machine needs a table number to process your order so even with a queue behind you, you have to walk into the restaurant to search for tables that are free before walking back to the machine punching in the number and completing your order. Not a good service time consuming and people waiting behind you becoming impatient. * Touchscreen may not be suitable for partially sighted or people with disabilities and with no staff member around to assist its discriminating, making it difficult for less abled individuals. The only good point is the lady who brought the breakfast out of the kitchen was pleasant. Just going off the previous uploaded picture in the reviews, maybe hire some new staff who can bring a bit of vibrancy and cheer to the place.

There doesn't appear to be any one staff member dedicated to be at the till (unlike Morrisons, Denton). Consequently, I have been left waiting for over five minutes at the till, before a staff member walks out of the kitchen, and with a surprised look on their face, ambles over to serve you. If this happens at peak times, then a long que can ensue, and for old OAPs, like me, it can mean painful knees. The manager doesn't wear a facemask, and didn't keep her distance when I was there. They do a "CHICKMAS BURGER" FOR £6, which I thought a bit pricey.

The staff are rude and unhelpful. No baskets, I asked a member of staff if they could bring some. 4 other customers waited with me by the door. After 5 mins the staff member walks past us all with lots of baskets, but doesn't give them to us, she takes them outside. Forcing us all to go back out the store to get a basket to re-enter. A couple of weeks later I needed some prawns from the fresh fish area. No pre packaged prawns available so I waited 10 mins and noone came. I asked at the fresh pizza section and I got a rude reply of "he's on his lunch you have to wait 10 to 15 mins". I said I only need some prawns can't you help me? He helped me but while I was waiting for him to bag the prawns he coughed 5 separate times. Honestly I didnt want to take the prawns off him after he handled them. We are in a pandemic and they let staff who have a cough work on the fresh food counters. Disgusting. I promise you I won't be shopping there again. I don't usually complain but over the past few weeks the staff are horrible and unhelpful. I recommend shopping elsewhere. Even the staff at the till are on their phones instead of serving customers.

I posted a review here on 18/09/20, but no sign of it here - why? You make customers (old people & mums with kids) wait up to fifteen minutes, whilst standing before you can place your order and be given a seat. I'm an old guy with problems with my knees, but when I suggested they put a chair for me until it was my turn to be served, I was made to look small in front of the queue of customers. This situation was the same before CORVID-19, so don't accept any BS from them. They put the cops on me when I complained, so watch out.

Long wait to order, long wait for food to arrive at the table. Chips lukewarm on both of our meals so requested some fresh and hot chips. Very pleasant member of staff brought replacements. Unfortunately the chips were the only hot items on our meals. The cafe was busy but not more than about half full. It’s a shame that they can’t serve sausages, beans and eggs hot which suggests that the food is sitting around at low temperatures. Again, don’t bother!

The place has improved and has a good selection of food choices all well under a fiver. The staff are competent but the food delivery could be a bit quicker. In terms of comparing cost with quality this just edges the 'Average' for me. The old age saying goes "you pay for what you eat" Therefore with cost considered the food is tasty and does the job for a lunch time or early evening tea.

My LO and I had our breakfast there. We were warned about long waiting, which was about 20-25 minutes. The lady who brought our breakfast out looked fed up and stressed - though the cafe didn’t look too busy - there were enough staff I thought. Reasonable prices, good food, but didn’t feel welcome, and a bit too long to wait

Lady delighted in telling people waiting to order hot food there was a 45 minute wait, even though the place was half empty. I had hungry children so i left

Food is good in here, particularly the cooked breakfast but don't go in if you are in a rush as we had to wait about 20 minutes for the breakfast to come out.

What can I say? This morning I was searching for 'kids eat free at morrisons'. however it wasn't till 3pm. Still ended going with my kids,nephew,nieces, and couldn't forget my mum obviously. Everyone got what they wanted and surprisingly food arrived expresso for all ten members within 20 mins lovely all enjoyed.😉 Decor and table setting is great. Staff served was polite.

We have visited a couple of times for breakfast after doing the school run and have enjoyed the meals from here. Just make sure you order your food at the first counter as you go in (If a staff member is there) otherwise you will queue up at the till to be told to go back (lol) Apart from that the service is good and the food is really nice compared to some supermarket cafes. The staff are attentive and do clean the tables again unlike some supermarkets.

I waited 35 minutes for a piece of toast, the service was terrible, utterly disgusted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The staff here at Morrisons are always pleasant and helpful and the tables are always tidy for you to sit down straight away. The food is what you pay for. It's cheap so you can't really complain. I love the fish and chips or a big breakfast.

Se olvidó de tomar una foto de la comida para ver cómo se asqueroso Peor que lo que parecía. Tortillas cursi parecen haber sido cocinado en el microondas, con un poco de queso que terrible sabor de plástico. Las tarifas son razonables peor nunca, puede llamar que tortilla. Descripción era 2 tortillas cursi y me dieron 2 bolos con un yeso como sustancia que estaba hecha con huevos pero sabía peor de lo que parecía. El pan tenía un extraño maloliente y mantequilla sabor y sensación de náuseas im. Quería vomitar lo que había. Perdí 6 libras. 80 en la comida basura! Son un supermercado y la comida que parece utilizada en la reserva era de muy baja calidad. Me pueden pasar menos en Weatherpoons por un plato de comida más decente. Evitar a toda costa. A menos que compres. un sándwich y tienen un promedio de bebida de la máquina.Estoy decepcionado y comiendo caramelos de menta para deshacerse si el sabor de la comida en la boca.

Esperamos más de media hora para dos comidas muy básica en un sábado por la tarde. Al final preguntamos donde nuestra comida era. Camarera salió con dos comidas frías y dijo: "Nos preguntamos cuya estos eran! ". De camino a través de comer, decidí no aguantar y fuimos a ver a la chica en la factura. Ella sólo se encogió de hombros y dijo "No es mi culpa". Fuimos a servicios al cliente para hablar con un gerente y un poco más de 10 minutos de esperar un gerente salió llevó a mi esposa al restaurante y preguntó "¿es ella? "señalando la chica hasta. Luego tomó mi esposa volver a servicios al cliente y gritó de darles su dinero. "todo lo que de ella! "Fue la respuesta (era unas 7 libras). Tomó la restitución y a la izquierda. No se comer allí de nuevo. Esta es la segunda vez que hemos tenido una experiencia terrible. El Reino Unido es realmente una mala relación cuando se trata de servicio al cliente en estos días.

This shop is the Worst ran establishment in HYDE the staff are rude and are very undertrained.The management here need sacking there attitudes are vile. I have been shopping here for many years and I can gladly say I will be spending my hard earnt cash else where. I will not ever return to this place due to the people who are working there. A mean a so called manager who swears in front of customers is disgraceful she needs sacking don't no her name but she has short hair , a foul mouth and looks like she uses a bit to much fake tan.I hope the place gets shut down..

Normalmente te garantiza una comida decente, especialmente si tienes uno de los desayunos, pero no en este. Algunos de la comida era cálida y la carne sin opción estaba perdiendo la hash brown! Algunos de los miembros del personal no parecía muy feliz, pero la dirección era eficiente limpiar las mesas.

Me decidí a pedir una chaqueta patatas con queso, col y ensalada para mí y las comidas de 2 niños que eran 1 nuggets de pollo y papas fritas y 1 pollo y puré. Cuando la comida llegó la comida de los niños lo servían en vasos de lado y agua hirviendo. Uno consistía en 3 minúsculos maltratada nuggets y alrededor de 7 patatas fritas y la otra por la misma cantidad de nuggets y una cuchara de mesa dollop tamaño de puré gris! Tuve que pedir platos frescos de lo contrario mis niños habría escaldados en sí! Mi plato de patatas de la chaqueta vino servido en una 'Bowl' cayeron en la cima de mi ensalada que habíamos ido caliente y correosos, no muy apetecible. También mi queso derretido y mi 'Bowl' también era agua hirviendo! Yo no podría incluso reducir a través de mi papa sin todo se desbordan en la mesa! Tuve que pedir un plato de tamaño normal para mi comida y cena para mi ensalada para ser servida en el lado de mi papa y para ser frío! En general, el servicio era deficiente y el servidor parecía un demonio y ignorantes con ni disculpas. Creo que si pides una comida que debería tener al menos se sirve en un plato y no en un tazón como en una casa de reposo. También tienen una política en la que no se permite a los padres sirven una taza de agua caliente para ellos para calentar sus biberones en vastas para la salud y la seguridad todavía están dispuestos a servir comidas para niños en un plato caliente pues te puedes escaldar. En general muy caro, sobre sondeado en el microondas, mediocres raciones, personal miserable, y ensalada caliente servido con una mosquea si haces y mugrienta en un café lleno de jubilados. No volveremos

Tienes que esperar un poco más de tiempo para la comida aquí porque cocinan la comida a la orden, en vez de tener comida tumbados alrededor bajo las lámparas de calor. He tenido ocasión de pop en mi cabeza en la cocina para que alguien venga a hasta que no es lo ideal, pero son lo suficientemente amable. La comida, aunque normalmente es delicioso - big duplicaron hasta hamburguesas, tartas y el pescado y las patatas fritas que mi favorito.

they don't seem to have enough staff when times are busy , also lets see service with a smile and some basic manners

Been to this Morrisons cafe before and was disappointed with the service I had received but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt in case it was just a one off. Needless to say, I wish I hadn't bothered There was about 3 people in the 'restaurant' I had to wait about 5 minutes to get served as the staff just stood and had a conversation and then proceeded to pay for some drinks that THEY had just had ! (All whilst I was stood in front of them waiting to place my order!) and when one of them did eventually converse with me, there was no apology for keeping me waiting. I ordered a steamed fish with salad and without any extra sauces or anything else on. I got (eventually) a salad with a LOAD of coleslaw all over it and a fish in batter! Why on earth would I order a salad with fried fish and coleslaw surely I'd have just gone for fish and chips ?! Anyway she took it away saying that I would have to wait about 20 minutes for steamed fish, I said I was going to have to leave shortly and so could she bring me some kind of take out container I could put it in if I needed to go, the photo is what I received, salad, again with a LOAD of coleslaw on and a steamed fish just thrown on top and served in tin foil. Not a patch on the Dukinfield Morrisons come on guys get it sorted !
