Morley's in Lewisham

One of the best places value for money wise. Large amounts of wings for little cost, and they're pretty great tasting too. I always go for 10 spicy bbq wings. The burgers are nice too, and the chips have large portions even if they're a little dry.

My nephew has a minor obsession with fried chicken shops in South London, so it was with eagerness I ventured into a branch of Morley’s for the very first time. In hindsight, I over-ordered so was stuffed by the end. I wasn’t too keen on the presentation with loose chips crammed into the box on top of the chicken, plus the chicken pieces varied in taste and quality. The menu had different items only advertised on the shop window, so it all just seemed a bit muddled. It therefore wasn’t my greatest fried chicken experience. The server ignored the 99p and rounded up the prices to the nearest pound. When I’d finished eating, I found I needed spend more than a penny in the toilet…

As I don't eat pork its a big problem. Nobody should cook ribs and chicken and wings in the same oil.

Morley’s will always have a special place in the hearts of south london kids.... this particular branch was my childhood chicken shop! Probably the best fries in London?!

many meal deals. fill the hole and hunger for as little as £1.99 portion is OK. Good for the amount. I would recommend the 1.99 burger and fries. I usually throw the fries away as they are similar to mcdonalds.. Basically fried cardboard with salt on them. (that's how they taste). chicken burger though is tasty.

Delivery man said he was outside. I stood in the cold...rang him, he was somewhere else...10 mins later he arrived. The food was ok but nothing special and cold....
