Morfa Table Table in Denbighshire

We went to Morfa Table Table this evening for our son’s 13th birthday with family. When we arrived, Danielle had heard it was our son’s birthday and had put out a banner, a blackboard wishing him a happy birthday, a card and a drink. She quickly made sure we all had drinks and took our food order. The food was lovely, and good value for money. Some of us also had puddings. Before the puddings arrived, again Danielle brought out a blueberry muffin with chocolate and a candle in it. Nothing was too much for her. She kept us updated about our order and popped over throughout the evening to ensure everything was good. We will certainly go back!

Poor food today ,cold fish and Mushy peas. To her credit the lady waiting on Cara was helpful and welcoming, would be prepared to try there again if only for Cara’s sake ,

Been lots of times we had to wait over an hour gor food after my husband asked it was delivered within 2 mins but cold and not eatable so obviously food ha been standing. No blame on waiter only him bringing food out

Always great place to eat and catch up

We arrived slightly later than planned, however the service was brilliant and although the suggested wait time for food was around an hour, we were seated with drinks in a few minutes and our starter (Nachos with a chili beef chipotle) came around 10 minutes after ordering. We didn't have to wait long after finishing our starter for our main courses (Chicken and Ham Pie & the Smothered Chicken) which were good sized portions and were equally as tasty as our starter. Following the mains we had a chocolate brownie & ice cream for dessert and it was rich and melted in the mouth! Just the perfect end to a delicious meal. The service was brilliant this evening and the staff were notably polite and conversational. We will be visiting again. Thank you to the team as a whole for contributing to a lovely evening.

We went for my granddaughter s 15th birthday which I mentioned on the booking form when we arrived the table was decorated and there was a card and a large bag of maltezers for her all the staff wished her happy birthday and to top it off I had a 40 percent off voucher. The food is always good and the staff are always friendly. We go quite regularly

Decent food and decent prices. The staff is always very helpful and friendly, the place is spotlessly clean. The layout of the place makes it feel much smaller and cosier than it actually is, this is one of my favourite places to eat simply for its value for money.

Apart from breakfast in November, we have avoided Table Table for over a year, after some disappointing visits, long waits, disgruntled staff poor quality food. What a pleasant surprise, when we decided to call in for Sunday lunch. Great portions, hot from start to finish and Danielle was so friendly and attentive. Although it didn't seem that busy (about 1.15 pm), but seemed to be plenty of staff. Very reasonably priced, hope it wasn't a one off but we shall see, as won't leave it so long, well done all.👏👏

Can't fault Morfa Table Table.Service is great,as is the food.Staff very helpful&friendly,nothing to much trouble for them. Had to eat here for 2 weeks while our bathroom/kitchen was being repaired. Thank you for being made welcome.

Danielle the waitress was so attentive even though it was a busy Friday night shift.

Food was good but a bit of a wait.

Met family for breakfast -8 of us in total . The buffet was clean and tidy and well stocked with delicious pastries, youhurts, cereals and fruit and the cooked breakfasts arrived freshly cooked and piping hot. The children also had exactly what they wanted. Looked after impeccably by Sylv and Hayley and all credit to the chefs cooking to order in busy times. We left totally set up for the day. Food i ordered was cooked perfect the waitress NAOMI was friendly very pleasant and great at her job. And for this time of year was nice and quiet just what I wanted. Great place.

Same old problems in the Disabled toilet, although 2 x air freshner diffusers in place at time of visit made it a bit more pleasant (Jan 2024). Nov 2023 - At last one improvement to Disabled Toilet, in that the door now has a RADAR key lock fitted, which will deter all and sundry from using it. However remaining problems still exist.(March 2023). Problems with Disabled toilet STILL not resolved - hand basin not firmly attached, mysterious growth on pipes under sink, air extractor to weak/not working and hand drier only lasts for about 5 seconds maximum - very annoying. Have given up reporting these problems, as they have been issues for several years now!!!!

Served by Martina, service was excellent and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Sam was our waiter and was excellent, there were 9 of us so got complicated but she got our order perfect. She was happy and didn't rush us

Kirsty was brilliant! 9 of us turned up without a reservation as we got together unexpectedly as a family. She found space for us quickly and the service was brilliant. So lovely and friendly.

Great atmosphere, because Sian Sam and all the staff are so lovely friendly and helpful , go there every week , never been disappointed.

Such a shame this place has gone down. The whole place needs a good clean and revamp. All the cutlery was dirty. The food was awful, never had such a bad fish and chips, it was basically dried up batter! Feel sorry for the waiting on staff who were polite. We won’t be going back any time soon!

Placed on a nice spacious table with my dinner companion. Very loud atmosphere with other dinners talking etc. There was a draught despite not being near the door. My soup starter was lovely and so was my Fever tree lemonade. The main meal was off the bargain menu (two for £11.99), bad decision. Chose the fish and chips (which turned out to be Pollock, which in itself is ok, but the batter was dreadful). The service was slow but I personally didn't see many staff. Our server was lovely though. I would recommend this place if your not in a rush, wrapped up and chose a better menu.

I'm a regular visitor to this restaurant and the staff are very welcoming, the food is good and there is a nice atmosphere. Little to find to complain about! Years after the above review, the same review continues.

Superb cooked breakfast, compliments to the chef. Friendly and efficient service. Also visited for an evening meal which was great value. Unfortunately the staff that time did ignore our empty plates a few times but otherwise a lovely visit.

Danielle our waitress was very hospitable and caring. When we told her it was our daughters birthday she kindly bought her over a bag of chocolate to wish her happy birthday, she told us if she had known beforehand the table would have been decorated and a banner put up. This isnt something we knew they did so we will know for next time. The food was delicious, a lovely birthday meal overall

Met a friend for lunch, the food was OK, but I do appreciate that it is not expensive at all. I had a veg curry which was tasty without being great but I did finish it all. My friend had fish and chips which looked a bit flat to me but I didn't eat it so mayb e it tasted better than it looked. The venue looks sad from the exterior but is quite attractive inside and has a good friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was very good a d did her job very well.

Can't fault the place, Jason and team are very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is great for the price you pay, drinks are also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Average food. It's okay. Staff beyond helpful and friendly. Atmosphere because it feels like a pub.

We had to ask for the daytime menu, food was mediocre at best, service was slow to non existent and getting the bill right proved a nightmare.

Pleasant environment, food is nice and reasonably priced. We went for a Sunday lunch and got the "bottomless" Yorkshire puddings, which ended up being one extra Yorkshire pudding. Gutted.

Wasn't piping hot as expected. Mash potatoe tasted like instant mash. Steak pie taste of normal shop pie. Wasn't much gravy or food on the plate, as I often come here with family birthdays, I was disappointed this evening, sooner use a chip shop for pie and chips. We paid £34.27 with 25% voucher total cost was £25.70.

There are choices of food from their menu but a few other countries food (a bit of Italian and Indian food). Food is what I would call English pub food but tasty (what I've ordered) except for the salad as it's a basic lettuce, a few shredded carrots, few cucumber slices and onions (I don't think there were any tomatoes in it either) and the salad sauce was either a salad cream or a salad sauce similar to a hundred island dressing - too sweet. However, when I asked the staff if I can just have a vinegar an an olive oil they were happy to provide. They were weird apologetic in not having even a simple vinaigrette. An incident with losing our food order ticket which we ended up waiting for our food for over an hour also happened. However the restaurant manager came over to apologise and offered to fully refund us with free drinks or dessert or will ask the cook/chef to prepare for us a meal. They served us an amazing lasagna within 15 minutes. As we were already had a few drinks and quite full after the meal, the manager informed us that he'll leave a note for the other manager the next day to look after us, which we had a free drink and free desert as their way of saying sorry and thank you for our understanding and patience. Food and drink price are affordable too. Staff are very welcoming, nice and polite. The place is quite big but if it's tourist season, I'd recommend to book in advance as it can get very busy and full. The only thing I would like them to have more is another coffee/tea area and bread/toaster area as when it's very busy during breakfast time the queue can get very long. Their all inclusive breakfast is a must if you're staying at the premier inn next to this place.

The starters were quite a small portion for the price, probably no more than a handful of nachos in a small bowl. Service was slow as we got asked “would you like any sauce?”. By the time he came back I was halfway through my chips and ate all my coleslaw, which only left my to my burger which was nice. I swerved desert as I don’t think it would have justified the price. So the food was ok, service was slow but they got there and the atmosphere was the usual in any restaurant/pub.

First the lady that greeted , you never once smiled . And she was very abrupt ! The meal came, where to start roast potatoes where soft ,soggy and appearance was off putting, the meat as in gammon was wafer thin and obviously cut before hand, and was more like bacon , stuffing balls where disgusting .not and good experience and both plates where left

Frozen food that has gone cold and then re heated in the microwave because everything is either soggy or cold. Took over 1 hour to come out to us, some food orders were wrong and when questioned they said they would send the manager. Manager never came and after waiting an extra 20 minutes to speak to someone, we finally gave up and left. Unfortunately we would never come back here again.

Waited a little while to be seated, but once seated we were served at the table by a lovely lady(Martina) who got us all our drinks and food. It seemed a little busy but they deemed happy to accommodate, very friendly staff and all know how to have a laugh and a sense of humour. I like my restaurants with staff who have a real personality. And both the bloke who seated us and the lady who served us were amazing. Ben served us aswell and gosh they were both amazing! Took the time to speak to us and make us feel welcome, chis ste lovely!

My son booked table for our Granddaughter's birthday ( 4 adults 3 children), we waited over 1 hour before we were served, the chips were cold, my fish was more batter than fish, decided not to have dessert as wasn't sure how long it would take to come!!

My food was burnt. Took 20min to get orders taken, 45min for food. Others that ordered after had their food before us. Had to request for the gravy to go with the sausage and mash. Very poor service.

I wouldn't eat here if the food was free. Frozen food comes out still frozen in the centre. No prob checks.

The team are really friendly and helpful! My food came quickly, was nice (classic pub food you can't go wrong!) and the atmosphere was busy but pleasant on both occasions I've been here. I needed a reprint of my receipt from the day before and the staff were able to dig it out for me which was great service :)

What can I say about this place? Firstly, service is not good and it is slow. It is bar service and they have no idea how long people have been waiting and who is next to be serviced. Food is ok and I use the word OK as a loose term. it's edible at best! I asked for a melbec wine and I saw the bar person attempting to mix my wine with another one which I asked them not too. Service with a smile is not here. If you are looking just to fill a hole, then pop in but if you're looking for a good service, then you may have to look elsewhere.

Lovely family birthday meal, Danielle made it easy for us to order using the vouchers we had. Excellent service as always, all staff really nice, will go again, 5 empty plates.

Have been here plenty of times, sometimes even weekly when travelling for work. Have had breakfast and dinner, and tried most of the menu over my times here. Never really had any issues with the food, the service has always been top class, especially Sam who is always very friendly. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait at busy periods, which is to be expected. Highly recommend this place, and I'm sure I will be back many more times.

Outside needs slightly tlc , as you walk in some lights are a little wonky. However inside the staff were lovely and welcoming. The food and drinks were great. Quick service with a smile and great manners from the young man who served us , we would definitely eat there again when visiting north Wales again. Well worth a visit.

Excellent, welcoming staff and simple booking process with a wide range of drinks and delicious, well presented food. Perfect for families and parties. However, on the day I was there (Saturday 7pm), I was told there was no Coke or Diet Coke or Hotdogs or Hotdog buns, which was disappointing.

Lovely place to have a birthday celebration. Staff very patient with ordering food that needed ingredients taking off ! Baby was entertained . Lovely experience.

Went there today for a late lunch with my son and it was really welcoming. We were served quickly and food came out lovely and fresh. I wanted to use my blue light card at the end and Callum helped me work out how to get the code. Callum was really polite and patient. Will definitely be returning.

Food was okay, just didn't appreciate seeing the back of the greeters mouth while he was chewing gum so openly, and continued to chew with his mouth wide open for the hour and half we were there. Very low standard for how the staff operate.

Very busy on evening of 23 May. Not enough staff and could only order drinks and food at the bar which was crowded. Food arrived 40 minster later . One meal was burnt. Others were OK. Not a good experience for customers or staff who were stressed.

Bar very quiet and tables that had been used didn't seem to be cleared very promptly. I didn't eat there, as I heard some comments of peple leaving that weren't to positive about the meals they had just had. However couldn't of been any worse than the rubbish i got served at KFC I purchased some snacks from behind the bar that are over a month out of date. Just opened now 3 days after I purchased them otherwise I would of instantly returned them. Would I visit this bar again No I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Not been for a while. But compared to the Submariner on sea front, not up to the task. Food was just edible. Chips burnt. Service was very poor. We had to chase everything. Wait was way longer than necessary as it was not too busy.

A good selection of dishes. The food was good, portion sizes were good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Been here twice this week, we've had 2 fantastic meals, lasagna, chicken and ribs combo, fish pie all excellent, staff are friendly and best of all the prices are great.

We booked and appreciated the table service weekend option when you do so. Our server, Danielle, was brilliant. Super helpful and I appreciate her telling the kitchen I’m not veggie, I just don’t like meat so I could have the sides with my roast!
