The fish and chips shop was excellent. Everything I ordered was delicious. The food was cooked perfectly and not overly greasy. We ordered fish cakes, sausages, and chips. The portions were generous and I was very impressed. I noticed they offered click-and-collect at the entrance, which I will likely use next time. The entrance was spacious and the shop was clean and tidy. They also had lunch specials until 4pm, and I paid only £5.50 for chips and sides.

Best fish n chips I've ever had. Very friendly and polite staff. Our 'go to' for a quick and cheap take away as the portions are big enough for my husband and me to share.

Food arrived piping hot, was very tasty and good sized portions. Will order again soon.

Went there on Monday 9th September 2024 to get the lunch deal and a side of mozzarella sticks. Served by a lady with brown hair who was amazing! She was so lovely I had to leave a review as a thank you. I asked for vinegar on my chips and the amount that was put was so beautiful i could feel myself ascending into the heavens. Food was perfect because of her.

Ok, I normally do not rave about fish n chips. But guys, this is gourmet fish and chips . I’ve ordered food from these guys at least 10 times and every time the foods been perfect. Thanks to the owner. Keep up the excellent work. No other chippie comes close

My order was missing 2. Items I couldn’t feed my 2 sons their dinner I requested a refund and I’ve been told I couldn’t have one.. so I’m not using this restaurant again may stop using ur services to as I’ve wasted £7-8

Delivery time fine - but arrived damaged. One of the pies were split and so the juice was everywhere in the container & the chips were loose as the lid was open during delivery. Have sent emails and a request for help and had no response back. Avoid ordering from here

Even though I rarely come to the area ... every time I'm here I stop for a good portion of fish ... kind staff and very good service ... the food is fresh and very well cooked ... I recommend you try it

The driver kept putting the delivery time back. He was very late delivering the fish and chips . Consequently the batter on the fish was soggy!

The food quality has changed and sadly it is not for the better. I have been here several times now and the chips are not fresh. I always ask for cod fish and I have to wait while they fry it which i actually don't mind doing. I prefer waiting for fresh food. It would be much better if they also fried the chips to order so you wait for the food and don't end up with stale chips. They can do this as they are not super busy. I've been several times and at most I see 2 or 3 customers sometimes none. The fish is usually fried well and the batter is crispy, but it depends who is frying it. There is a lady there who doesn't fry it enough so the batter is not as crispy. Come on guys you were doing so well before but since Christmas it has gone down.

This was my local until I got served a chicken burger which was not cooked on the inside. Think you need to check it’s 70 degrees on the inside before serving - westfryers will now be my new local

Ordered fish and chips and very enjoyable indeed. Hot and not greasy. Good sized cod and the regular sized portion of chips was perfect for 2 people. In our opinion, we think this is the best fish and chip shop in Milton Keynes, with quality and service being repeatedly of the highest order. Definitely our first port of call for fish and chips.

This food is brilliant I always go here now I personally know many of the workers because my sister works there every one is so sweet i had it last night brilliant so good

No point being open on a Sunday night if you're going to serve Luke warm food, no fresh chips, no fresh chicken, and yet at the same expensive prices. I didn't even get the hole order, even though they repeat what you did order.

I ordered a double burger and got a double cheese burger. If I wanted a double cheese burger I would of ordered one. My partner order single cheese burger which was right. Chips were cold. Hard. Not very nice. Tried ringing to get a replacement burger but no answer. Left messages and now the number says it can't take anymore messages as inbox is full. Not great customer experience.

Ordered a steak pie but a chicken and mushroom was delivered. Ordered two portions of scampi….both overcooked, tasted burnt with dried out minimal scampi interior - coating was saturated with oil. Arrived tepid as opposed to hot. Didn’t realise there was more than one Moores….usually order from Monkston Park and has always been great. This order came from Shenley…hadn’t realised I’d ordered from there for a delivery to Middleton….my bad!!

Saw a recommendation for this place Ordered :- seafood basket pineapple fritters and a saveloy sausage Got home The seafood basket was not as advertised and mostly unidentifiable stuff covered in batter, should have been prawns squid rings salt and pepper squid and scampi The pineapple fritters were not pineapple, poss battered halloumi The only thing that was correct was the saveloy sausage !!! Extremely disappointed and £15 out of pocket

I have ordered over 20 times and have been ordered in Reg cod which comes with chips every time. This time there’s not chips. I called them and they said they don’t give chips I have to add it on but that’s not true because when I did this the first few times I ordered I get the chips with the cod and extra chips on top which I didn’t need to order. The man on the phone was so rude and cut me off without trying to understand what I’m trying to explain to him. Never ordering from here again

We received the wrong order , and therefore I spent £35 on 2 portions of chips , only answer phone available very unhappy, but delivery man’s fault , have other customers receipt, he did well .

My experience was poor I did not receive the items that I ordered- I ordered 3 large fish and only received one: When I phoned the company they said there manager would phone me back to get the issue resolved or to sort out the food but I never received a Phonecall. I feel let down by just eat and I also feel let down by this fish and chip shop absolutely poor service and will not be ordering from here again AVOID AT ALL COST!

The Rock was very heavily battered and there was not much fish inside for £9.80. Very disappointing indeed and the sausage in batter gave the impression of having sat waiting for a long time. Very disappointed after looking forward to it and the high level of reviews.

the curry sauce has gotten sooo watery the last couples times, it used to be so nice now it barely stays on the chip more like a soup than a sauce

I have used your fish and chip shop several times as it’s always been great food and service, however your customer service tonight was abysmal! My food was delivered and it was missing a half chicken, you then asked if I could come and collect it (that’s why I had it delivered) and when I said I couldn’t you told me you were not sure what to do and to contact just eat for a refund!! When you work in hospitality you really need to think more of your customers, I will never come back to you know because of this. Such a shame.

It was very busy which is always a sign it's good food. Especially when there are other places you could go. So we had to wait while the fish was cooked fresh and I have to say, always the same with Moores, it was lovely. Can never fault a trip there, ever.
