Simply the best! The quality of the food has been consistently high for years. The staff are super friendly & nothing is too much trouble (BRING MORE ONIONS. NO! MOOOOORE ONIONS! 😂) Thanks for always being so accommodating.

Moonlight is our go-to Indian for both dining in and takeaway. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is excellent.

Reason I'm leaving 2 star is because 2 bloody poppadoms is £1.90 which is absolutely disgraceful..

Food was ok ish but was cold and took 98 mins to arrive crazy man I would order again but I’m not waiting close to 2 hours again prices were stupidly expensive as well not the worst but defo ain’t worth money

Second time in a row that they have forgotten our rice for a delivery. When we ring up they aren't bothered and just send one back out. Meanwhile the curry is getting cold so has to be reheated. Just spoils the whole experience. Very disappointed.

Moonlight is the best local curry house I’ve ever been to. The staff are really friendly, the service is amazing and they’re always on it with serving pints of beer! It’s not too costly and it’s a great place to go for a meal with friends/family. The food always arrives quickly and they’re great at giving recommendations!

The whole experience was nothing short of superb. I came in as a late walk in on my way home. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff were very passionate about the food and were kind and engaging. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will certainly be back.

Too busy so had to wait 2hrs for food.

One of the best Indian meals I've had in ages. Everything was perfect. Even a dish like sag aloo which is normally functional but unremarkable was full of flavour. Good service and value to boot. I wish I were local so I could return.

Don't go here awful customer service we went as a group of five for my mother's birthday we felt like a inconvenience. I had dirty cutlery. My auntie asked for red wine and got a ròse. When ordering desserts mine never came then the waiter lied to me as said it was the only one available then said they didn't have it, and I eventually got it. My cousin had to ask for a cup as only got the tea pot. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The older waiter behaviour was disgusting and should not be in customer service

The food was delicious and the service quick. The portion sizes were just right. The staff were very pleasant and we will definitely be back.

Husband booked well in advance for 12 people for my surprise birthday meal but Moonlight only accommodated for 10, meaning everyone very cramped and 2 people had to perch on corners of tables to eat. Very very disappointing :(

Was treated rudely and belittled by a waiter, we came in and told the waiter about one of our dietary requirements and then was asked how allergic am i then proceeded to be give a starter and a main and a replacement main with the ingredient I can have the waiter then proceeded to then bring out a plate with the ingredient I cant have and another ingredient that they claimed was in the dish infront of a restaurant of people they where so imbarrased, the food may have been good of what we could eat but the service was appalling will never go back again

Great Indian curry, with good service

Table booked for 13 however not ready on arrival. Drinks ordered but felt like we were an inconvenience and no smile whatsoever from person taking the ordering. Just kept saying “drinks! Drinks”. Poppadoms came out however we were waiting for so long to order our food. Eventually did but took over an hour and half for food to be served. Other tables whom arrived after us had been served their food. When asked they stated they are busy. Food eventually turned up. Mine was bland the chicken was minimal and bland taste. The restaurant felt rushed and staff looked on edge all the time. Not a pleasant atmosphere at all. The bill was scribbled down with pencil and the drinks were not listed out. Just a total so they could add whatever to the bill and not account for it!!! Would never return. Horrible experience. Do not go as a big group as they clearly cannot deal and leave you till the end. Maybe we should’ve got separate tabs as they prioritise tables of 2,4 and 6. 1st and last time I will be going.

We’ve had several deliveries from here and eaten in the restaurant once. Brilliant food and always on time. Highly recommend.

I had a lamb tikka balti with spinach and it did not disappoint I never eat a whole curry i did this one highly recommend the staff are very friendly and helpful, atmosphere I was there early so wasn't no atmosphere but can imagine it gets good and busy as the evening goes on 👌🏻

More than great food, great service would go again

Absolutely Avoid! Was not welcoming or friendly. Booked reservation for a Group of 10 (family including children) on a Wednesday. Wanted to order starters as everyone was starving and then order mains but was told apparently they have a rule of one order per table/group. All Starters and mains and everything must be ordered together at one time as we were instructed they WILL NOT LET YOU order anything more after. Had to battle to order food for children first and then made out they were doing us a favour. Got the children’s order wrong. Spilt drink on my phone and my child while serving. Didn’t give anything to help the spill he caused accept an oops sorry. Not sure but believe he may have been the manager. Could understand the rule if they wanted to focus on quality of service but this was not the case at all. Plates weren’t given before food. Had to ask for and pass around cutlery when they should just place a set to each person. Food was basic and some dishes weren’t nice at all. Ruined a family holiday celebration. Ended up going for drinks else where after as we only ordered 1 drink each at the beginning. Their loss! Definitely would never return and absolutely would not recommend.

Struggle to find a curry as good as they make here. Impossible to find a team as genuinely lovely as they are here. It’s making me want curry just writing this review!

Very authentic Indian restaurant and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit when in the area. We had a nice family evening meal. The staff were very friendly and professional. 10/10.

Years ago I gave a five star review tonight I have to say it was awfully bad. The first biriyani I ever made at home was way better that's how bad it was. I was told the hyderabadi is hot not only was it not hot or spicy it wasn't mild and it had no flavour and the mixed vegetable curry that was supposed to come with was missing. The keema naan barely had anything inside it the garlic naan didn't taste of garlic it was small thin cold and dry. The salad was old and brown which told me enough. We won't be bothering Moonlight again. The delivery driver had trouble finding where we lived. Moonlights prices were always going up but they are scrimping on ingredients and quantity. We really deserve a refund.

Excellent food and service and takeaway and delivery service are always on time.

I was there with my partner last Saturday. For mains I had the Tikka Rim Jim - excellent and just what I wanted. My partner had the Sag Chicken - terrible - no taste, watery, and the chicken was dry as if cooked pieces had been dropped in at the last minute. This was bad, but... We were never offered a dessert or coffee and were left ignored at the table. We asked for the bill three times and were told they were processing it and it wouldn't be long. The place was busy when we arrived but there were many empty tables when we had finished. Still ignored we got up to leave and pay at the door. Approaching the door we realised we could have left without paying. When I asked for the bill it hadn't even been started! We won't be returning.

The best Indian restaurant I have been to never had a Bad dish of bad service

Amazing time last night (20/01/23). 11 of us went for a works leaving meal for a couple of people and had such great hospitality and food. Waiters were very aware of the tables needs always popping over to see if we wanted more drinks. Ordering was easy and painless with everyone ending up with an accurate order. Food was great, no one had any complaints on this one, currys had just the right amount of sauce, rice portions perfect and the naan breads were to die for! On top of that the waiters were such a great laugh and had some really great people skills. Definitely one for a return visit!

Have ordered from here a few times but been a while so tried tonight. I am so disappointed as normally the food's OK. I had a Madras that was hands down one of the worst curries I've ever had; bland, watery, no flavour, no heat, chicken was dry, just awful. There was a hair AND a small piece of poppadom in the mango chutney (clearly cleared from a table!!!). So, so, so gross. Paratha was burnt! We normally order from 29029 and have learned our lesson to stick with what you know.

Really great take away, used what 3 words for delivery as our address is an awkward one to find. Food delivered in 40 minutes as advised. Easy Web site to use, but no vegetarian options to order? Really tasty food, hot and full of flavour..and they used real paneer cheese in the paneer aloo. Lots of places use cheddar now I guess for cost saving? Only really pathetic whinge was no free poppadoms. Would recommend...

We regard this as our 'go to' Indian restaurant. Friendly staff, good food, good atmosphere. Prices are OK.

Ordered a takeaway chicken in both kormas was pink and bloody and also forget to deliver our drink . When we called was told it’s common for some to not be cooked through all the way !

Visited this restaurant as a group of 10. The staff were incredibly friendly offering suggestions on the menu and how dishes could be modified to taste even better. The food is very competitively priced as well. The selection of food is varied including a number of dishes I'd not seen elsewhere (always nice to try something new!). The food arrived in really good time given the size of our table and tasted delicious. I can't comment on the alcoholic accompaniments however my colleagues seemed to enjoy them! Have already recommended this place to others.

We went to the Moonlight Indian Restaurant having booked a table for Saturday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Both the food and the service were excellent. I would go there again if looking for an Indian meal.

The best curry around, I didn’t place my order properly so when I went to collect they weren’t aware, they then said they will get it sorted for me right away and knocked some money off for the inconvenience!! Couldn’t recommend a better place and I certainly wouldn’t go else where.

Have not been for several years, went with my partner her son his girlfriend and her young lad. Food was very good efficient service, good portions, friendly staff must go again soon. It was very busy, but they coped easily.

Well we're to start I ordered something I didn't have before I called the restaurant to ask about it and they was very helpful in telling about the dish it was a lamb biryani and all I can say is wow 👌 it was absolutely fantastic I would recommend it to everyone the size of the meal was great will definitely be ordering it again you totally get more for what you pay for....

Now I'm not a great fan of Indian food, but what I had at Moonlight was pleasurable to eat, delicious curry with full flavours, a spiced cauliflower dish which was for me a revelation. A clean beautiful restaurant setting with attentive, polite service I will happily return.

Takeaway was great last week. Tried to order tonight and they “don’t want” to deliver outside their 4 mile radius. Was happy to pay the charge for the extra miles as it says on their menu, but it wasn’t for them. Obviously doing well if customers can be turned away. Very disappointed with the customer service, rubbish service.

Excellent dinner at Moonlight! The prawn jalfrezi had a real kick to it which is exactly how it should be and the garlic naan was incredible. Tje poppadoms were light as air and not greasy in the slightest. All of my family thoroughly enjoyed their own dishes and the table service was outstanding!

We had an awsome meal on our visit. Staff were lovely. Restraint go really busy so waiters were running about bless em but fair play to them. Service was still great. We will return on our next doeset trip

Twice now I have ordered the Jalfrani. It is described as a medium dish with coriander. As a lover of coriander I went for this dish. The first time I ordered this it came out hotter than a madras, I thought it was a one off. I ordered it again this evening to give it another go. Again it came out so hot that I couldn’t eat it. I am not new to curry and can usually eat a medium to hot curry, however this proved far too hot for me. Please make sure that your chef knows the heat described on the menu to ensure that the dish is served as expected. Otherwise it is a waste of your customers money and a let down in what could have been an enjoyable meal.

Food was good but also very pricey.. covid restrictions were also in place which was a good feel however the bill was a little shocking for 2 people £65 without alcoholic beverages just a simple pint of coke and tap water.. shame to see a lot of food wasted as food portions were huge

My favourite restaurant and so glad to be reunited! Lockdown meant we weren't able to eat here for 18 months. To be greeted by our first names on our return meant so much, the service is outstanding. The food is even better than i remember, and with real care and attention to gluten free, it's a win for us, without question. .

I would like to update as things sometimes change.......it is new years eve 2020 and we are treating ourselves to another takeaway, again. Moonlight Broadstone is always delicious and worth the money. It is not the cheapest around here but definitely the best! We get our takeaway from Moonlight beacause the food is spot on. Friendly and reliable, free delivery, great curry, you must be mad if you get indian food or curry anywhere else. Try it.

Very average, Tandoori chicken like it was boiled, never use again.
