The live band was amazing and I loved it there vibe was brilliant, the place to be, it was busy lots of people but the atmosphere was great, sorry cannot say about the food didn't have any and friends were buying the drinks, so don't know the price, would definitely go again

I would like to thank all the amazing staff that assisted our party when one if us became severely ill on Saturday evening. They managed the situation professionally and discretely while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The young lady that managed the situation went above and beyond and we can't thank her enough.

A great pub to visit. A good range of beers and helpful staff. A great atmosphere, with hidden books and crannies to have a pint in. Well worth a visit.

Go,possibly the best bar in Dorset,ever changing ales,now have Clarksons Hawkstone cider and lager.cafe has recently extended times and menu . Fun in evenings as several bars very close ,good outside areas and hidden cocktail bar .fun for all

Great vibe, lovely English b/fast next morning, only blip is the service, not enough staff, and, the staff available not deployed to maximum effect, cheated a bit got my Guinness in the Bricklayer's next door, and went back to the BT, I would suggest waiter or waitress service with a card payment machine.

Great place for a drink. It's been one of the most popular Cross pubs for years. Always has a buzz and good music playing. Went on Thursday for 241 burgers. They were delicious so went back for breakfast today. Food here is really good. Coffee is particularly good. Staff are absolutely lovely and very funny. Nightmare to park, so try and walk there if you're nearby. Dog friendly. Outdoor tables and a roof terrace.

Just off of The Beaten Track you will find this Amazing Pub, tucked away. It's Always busy, it's the Local Yokall place to be Great Service, Staff are Super Friendly, Great Food and Superb Ambience. Hopefully this place won't disappear into the unknown!?? , Worthy of *****.

We had a couple of pints. We had a choice of several interesting real ales. We sat outside on the pavement on a sunny day. The toilets were okay. The price of a pint is eye watering everywhere, same here.

It very nice but I think some of the youngsters in there should learn some manners I've got bumped into and my drink not three times and also let in vaping carry on in there that's one of the reasons I will probably not go in there again because I can't stand her smell

A local pub. Not my usual. Popped in after a Wake, 😔. Popular with locals and visitors alike. Food, no idea.

Good spot, bar isn't laid out to cater for mass events like the coronation weekend but imagine a normal weekend would be good.

Lovely place, with great music, a good vibe, been a long time since I've heard jazz music played at a bar, so it made a lively change, heated outside area, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I did not try the food, but I will go back and sample the menu, then I will amend my review.

Used to know this place over 20 years ago when living in Bournemouth. It was ahead of its time then and still a great pub with a good range of beers, great music atmosphere.

This is a classic locals pub serving great beer with great service Just what a community pub should be.

Super busy when we were there so standing room only inside (like sardines) but heaters and some shelter outside. Live music on Friday night so enjoyed a boogie amongst friends 🙂 staff were calm considering the chaos

Fabulous pub tucked in the corner on Parr Street, Ashley Cross. The outside terrace is a wonderful setting, one high table encompasses a fire pit, and there is plenty of seating as well as benches outside of the pub. There is also an upper terrace which I believe may have to be booked. The emphasis is to enjoy all the outside areas. Inside is quirky, but pleasant and the staff are all incredibly attentive, you don't have to wait long to be served and they offer table service. A truly nice venue to spend time enjoying a drink in Nice surroundings.

First visit for some time, good funky band playing live. Still got a good vibe

A v good beer choice, including German beers. And now they've got some food available from a kitchen located at outside rear of pub but with limited opening hours.

Best pub in lower Parkstone. It's maintained its reputation for good beer and great socialising over many years (too many to mention in my case - man & boy). Sadly I no longer live in the area & it's no longer my local.

For a disabled person it racks right at the bottom of the scale they have no concern for bistable at all.

I haven't been back to the pub for a while, but remember the pub was how a pub should be. Good beers, great music for the above 50's & has just got that feeling of enjoyment. I can only say well done to the owners/managers & all the staff. I look forward to the next visit.

Went here for the 6 nations rugby this weekend. One screen, good sound, great atmosphere. Better than the Cow and the staff are really friendly and professional. Nice local pub. Back 22/1/22 saw a band called t funk. Great vibe, good service. Busy busy but still a very unpretentious pub where all sort of people can still be themselves.
