Moonlight Desserts in Dundee City

Be aware!!! My husband and I both suffered food poisoning after eating from this place. The cakes we ordered looked a bit old, but we didn’t think much of it at the time. Now, however, we’re both unwell with nausea, weakness, severe vomiting multiple times a day, and stomach cramps. We bought the Treat Box, which included a piece of each: Cookie Pie Kinder, Crunchie Slice, Biscoff Slice, and Old School Cake. We left a review on Just Eat, where we placed our order, but the company is hiding the negative reviews and only displaying the positive ones. They hid my review from the public on Just Eat website, then commented with a lie to mislead others, making it seem like I only left a 1-star rating with no text: "Would of really liked to know what was wrong with this order? Had to substitute 1 item from treat box however we did try to contact first. Comments appreciated as order was on time and our best quality?" Rather than addressing my comment about the food poisoning and the old cakes—and perhaps apologizing for the mistake—they decided to lie about it instead. I wonder what other hidden reviews on Just Eat are saying. We’ll never know since they seem to hide everything they don’t like.

The chocolate fudge waffle was fantastic! Generously loaded with sauce and toppings, it was delicious. Delivery was quick, and the driver was lovely. I really enjoyed it!

Sent me the wrong order completely. I ordered strawbreeze desert cookie dough. They sent a aero mint choc cookie dough. I called to tell them about the mix up and they said it’s right as I misread the menu on just eat. Then they hung up on me. I mean not one strawberry 🍓 on my cookie dough so they obviously got it wrong. No attempt at sending the right order or offer of a refund. Very bad customer service.

I ordered the red velvet cookie dough and it arrived with multiple raspberries covered in mould. absolute health and safety hazard

ordered 2 waffles and a milkshake. only 1 waffle turned up, cold. milkshake had no straw don’t order from here

I am still in shock. I placed an order at 10:49pm. Estimated time was just after 11:30pm. Thought great! Can't wait to have something to eat. Buzzer went off just before 11:05pm. Usually my neighbour needs letting in so I got up to buzz him in. Went to go sit back down and my door knocked. I was then on a ninja route to the front door cause as far as I know, I'm not due any visitors and my food is due in half hour. I open the door and to my surprise it was my food!! I was so certain I'd smoked so much and time was later than it was but no!!! It's piping hot! Cooked all the way through. This is amazing!!! Defo ordering from again!!

Ordered a slice of red velvet cake and it was extremely stale!

Pathetic customer service ordered from just eat at 21:10 still nothing received at 23:00 tried phoning the restaurant multiple time with no response and even left a text message again no response why even open a takeaway if your not even going to take call pathetic

Fantastic dessert delivery service with fresh meals! Ordered off just eat, menu very big variety of desserts and hot meals! We were staying at Piperdam resort and thought delivery was complicated but no problem at all, delivery came very fast! Delivery driver was really friendly and food was hot and fresh! Chicken burgers were amazing and milkshakes are awesome. Definitely order again when we are at Piperdam!

Ordered at 10pm. Still nothing and it’s 00:05. Phoned at 23:20, she said the order was all ready and next driver was taking it, 45 minutes ago. can’t wait to receive my freezing waffle and melted sundae👍🏻 do not recommend.

This shop does excellent curries on one side, and has a very good range of ice cream and other dessert items on the other. The staff who run it are very welcoming, helpful and appear to take a pride in what they do. We'll done to them. Good value for money. Well worth a visit.

The food very tasty the deserters were amazing

Ordered chips and cheese, cookie dough and an ice blast at 9:30pm and ETA was 10:30. I phoned at 10:45 to see where the food was and was told that it was with a driver and that they were busy. I phoned again at 11 and was told that the food was with a driver and that there were only two of them (but I ordered through JustEat so one of their drivers was going to pick it up?). The food arrived at 12:15am, the chips and cheese were solid and cold and the cookie dough was tiny for the price. I will not be ordering from here in the future.

Awful service, girl who was on phone was so rude and doesn’t have any customer service skills what so ever. Would not reccommend.

Was absolutely over the moon with my order. It was packed with toppings and so pretty I almost didnt want to eat it. Will definitely be a returning customer and telling people about his place. Really impressed

Very poor customer service, rude and difficult to deal with

Absolutely shocking from the owner in particular. Order came 2 hours late! Strawberry cheesecake was sailing in ‘sauce’. Chocolate cake was dry. Delivery driver told me I had to pay an extra £2 for the delivery on top of the £5 standard fee which is an absolute JOKE. Never ordering from this shambles of a business again. Never again.

I ordered at 9pm phoned back at 10 pm to see where it was was told few problems with drivers etc so I called back again at 11 was told it was on its way be 15 mins it’s now half 11 at night and it’s still a no show first and last time I order boycottt this place!!!

Ordered from just eat, ordered a hot dog chips and cheese and a toffee cheesecake slice and oh my god am I impressed! Food was piping hot when it arrived hot dog was absolutely amazing a toasted bun chips and cheese were hot and melted just how I like it and the cheesecake has to be one of the best ones I’ve had! 10/10

I dont like it , because Hair came out of it . It made me so sad I regret taking it.

Excellent desserts, ordered one of their box deals which came with a milkshake, crepe and chocolate cake for delivery. The milkshake was thick and creamy. The crepe was one of the best I've ever had. You get to choose what type if crepe you want-chocolate or normal and then all the amazing filling options. The chocolate cake was also delicious. It was a light chocolate sponge with a mousse like velvety icing. Definitely would recommend.
