Jade Palace is a Chinese Takeaway in Dundee. I ordered a Chicken Chow Mein and a Mongolian Chicken. Both meals were absolutely terrible. Both meals using processed chicken meat not real fresh chicken.

I had pork curry with salt and pepper chips. Meal was very good and would recommend. Collection experience was great.

Foo yung smelled weird, tasted weird, the rice and curry sauce was alright, but all was semi warm.. not the Foo yung I’m accustomed to I’m afraid 😟

curry sauce fried rice. no where near enough curry sauce left with half dry rice. curry sauce was worst ever i had.

Quick and easy. Placed order and it was ready for collection very quickly, the customer service was friendly and the food was very good. This is now my regular place for Chinese food.

Food was disgusting! Everything came in a sauce !! The crispy shredded beef was no longer crispy as it was swimming in a sauce?Why? Chicken chow Mein in a sauce !!! Again why? .

Top notch food but the delivery driver lying saying he phoned me but didn’t food was at reception for an hour. Love warm chips

Salt and pepper prawns were really good. Still soft, but crisp batter and the perfect amount of spice. However, the delivery driver dropped our stuff on the doorstep and was getting in his car by the time I got to the door. And I am used to getting free prawn crackers with every order, so didn't add any to my order this time. Was disappointed when there wasn't any.

Food was cold. Chips looked like they had been reheated. Curry sauce was congealed. Paid for crackers that didn't arrive with the food, called the shop and they appeared 5 minutes after the call. Wasn't impressed

When eventually received delivery 1hr late paper wrapping soacking wet and cold would avoid. Shocking service

Food was nice as it usually is but cold. Delivered 50 minutes late. Driver said he only started 45 minutes ago which was 5 minutes after when our food was due. Times don’t add up. Driver couldn’t care less. We usually tip, even if late but his attitude was pathetic.

Food so spicy we couldn’t eat it.. chow main was ok but the salt & pepper stuff was inedible it was so spicy

Ordered sweet and sour chicken was sent with no sauce ..called restraunt 30 mins ago and still not arrived .the food is now cold and ruined you cannot each battered chicken balls with rice with no sauce ...still waiting still hungry

The food was terrible I had pancake roll large and seasmie toast and my bf had chicken chow mien and spring rolls Start off my pancake roll large was a smaller than my toasts and it was filled to the top with onions it was soggy and uneatable the toast was the only good part My boyfriend had spring rolls and said they were so soft soggy and gross and he always love spring rolls aswell as that he had chow mien and the Said it tasted like gravy the only good part was the chicken

The delivery was that fast, the meal was just disgusting

Not used to jade Palace for sometime as had bad experience a few years ago but will be using my local Chinese takeaway from now on . Meal was excellent 👌 👍.

Ordered this evening as we use this Chinese regularly. Foo young and pancake roll were both sour. Telephoned to tell them and they asked if we would like refund or another meal. We opted for refund and told them we would bag meal for them to take back as non edible. Still waiting on driver returning with refund 1.5 hours later and shop is closed so looks like no refund or pick up of food will be completed. Surprisingly when I phoned to complain the telephonist stated to the chef I can understand the pancake roll being sour but the foo yung?? This does make me wonder if they knew the food was off!! Will not return due to not refunding. Such a shame as this used to be a good Chinese and we always used them for orders.

The chow main was in like a gravy as apposed to soy sauce and chips over cooked

Chicken chow mein good. Chicken in batter undercooked and very pale batter. S/S sauce greasy. Sad about that. Waited weeks for a treat but, at least half OK. :/

Brilliant food as always, tasty and perfect

They phoned to check our order was right, which was good customer service. The time given on the app was almost an hour but the meal arrived within 30 minutes. It arrived well wrapped and the food was to my partners liking.

Order placed at 17.28 estimated delivery time was 40 minutes. Then notified at 18.15 approx that shop was busy and meal would be delayed. 18.35 to 18.55 turned up at 19.00, Spring Rolls cold to warm. Curry sauce was luke warm. Salt and Pepper chicken & Chips were only hot due to excessive chilli flakes as they also were luke warm and chicken was very chewy not succulent or tender. I would have been quicker ordering a collection rather than delivery. No explanation from driver as to lateness just handed meal and walked off? Will think hard next time about using delivery service if it takes over 90 minutes to get a meal. Jade Palace score out of 10 would be 4 SORRY

Salt and pepper chicken is like sand and chilli. Absolute awful. Also the veg is barely chopped inch thick peppers. Not worth the money. Went straight in the bin.

Chow mein always really tasty but asked for no bean sprouts or peppers and it came with. Unfortunately didn’t eat it as I don’t enjoy it with peppers and bean sprouts but usually always 10/10. Just a shame on this occasion

Got the food totally wrong asked for sweet and sour and there was nothing sweet about these dishes it was like a spicy bitter thing I dunno what it was but it wasn't sweet and sour with battered king prawns prams were not battered either driver said he buzzed buzzer when he did not when I went down he said buzzer wasn't working then when I called it my partner answered the buzzer the man Mark also charged me and extra money for delivery even tho I proved to him the buzzer worked and when shop was phoned up they kept hanging up highly disrespectful was not worth 23 pound plus extra cash added bc of delivery driver marks mistake

Absolutely disgusting customer service at the highest level. Order from here weekly at least, always pay online, driver arrived already looking agitated and immediately started waving a receipt in my face. Explained I always pay online but if there’s been a mistake or any confusion I’ll call the takeaway and sort it out. He spoke no English at all and started shouting NO PAY NO PAY!!! I’ve never been so embarrassed on my own doorstep! He then entered my door and grabbed the food from young daughters hand- threw it into a Just eat bag, walked away from my house and told me to ****OFF. Called the takeaway and was very promptly told the driver would be sacked immediately but would I like him to bring back the takeaway??? I was aware the takeaway was going downhill of late but it’s absolutely sunk now in my opinion. Lost a loyal customer

Disappointed with the honey chilli chicken, very very salty/soy! Couldn’t taste the sweetness at all. My son wasn’t keen on the gravy the ribs came either. The chicken balls went down a treat though. Food was cold on arrival. Overall a tad pricey for a meal that was a bit hit and miss.

Last time I use just eat. Fed up with this rubbish service. I'll just get the food myself from now on.

The sweet chilli sauce wasn't didnt have much or any chilli but quality was good. Chips were a bit cold by the time it did arrive. Overall really tasty

The beef in green pepper and black bean sauce was awful, peppers still raw, beef was like cheap meat you would get in 99p ready meal, the chicken chowmein was disgusting, chicken was tough and tasted like rubber, chips tasted like they were reheated from 3 nights ago, the satay sauce and noodles tasted like waste food and all for over £30 and nothing free. If you want a nice takeaway then AVOID this place at all costs.

Ordered our tea chicken currys asked for 2 pkts of crackers but got none by the time i got them we all had finished chicken in curry was disgusting never again will i order from there ended up saying somethimg to the driver shouldnt have but was so angry i will apologise for that but will never order again

Chicken chow mein way over cooked, like mush in a watery liquid, stale prawn crackers, chip shop curry sauce, worst so called Chinese I've had , would not recommend.

Soup was full of flavour, chicken cooked perfectly and rice tasty. Very happy with order :)

Ordered last night and didn’t receive chips with order. Called and advised that they would drop them off ASAP, they were then delivered 40 mins later and were not needed as we had already ate our main. Food lovely but just not the same without chips

Absolutely vile ....ordered salt and pepper chicken. Chicken was like eating cold over salted rubber. No sauce and honestly the worse takeaway I've tasted. 1st and last time ordering from here. My partner had crispy beef and said it was OK. He tried my meal and spat it out ! My advice is don't order the salt and pepper chicken unless you love dry rubbery chicken with your salt !!

Pancake rolls were extremely undercooked and had sea food in them which wasn’t stated and I am allergic to sea food this could have caused a serious problem. When ordered it was meant to be chicken. But instead was prawns

Couldn't wait any longer for it to be changed so just ate half the curry. both meals were not very hot and the side of mushrooms was cold. Ordered from here as it is 5 mins away. Time to move on.

Awful! Chicken tasted off, ribs were like rubber, gravy was bland and chow mein was watery! I called and complained and no offer of anything! Me and daughter binned it, disgusting

Tasty food, delivered on time, still hot- Good stuff. Wee bit too much onion in the curry for my taste (so loses a star), but good food all round, & I'll order again. :)

Honestly this is the worst chinese food I have ever eaten in Dundee. If I could rate zero stars I would, The fried dishes were soggy. The meat was of terrible quality. The sauce tasted bad.

Food was ordered at 6.23pm, initially delivery time was meant to be between 7.10-7.20pm, didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was very overpowering with the flavour of soy - I love soy sauce, but this was far to strong. Everything tasted the same as all the food had soy sauce in it. Was very disappointed
