2nd time ordering. It was really good again. I had a chicken tikka vindaloo, very nice not over spiced and more flavour than Ive had elsewhere. I will order onion bhajis every time. They are not dry or oily and huge like a base ball Very impressed

Beautiful food as always , we order from here every week (twice this week) and never had a bad meal, very consistent, always hot and always ready for collection and never late with delivery! Best food in Derbyshire in my opinion! I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala, garlic and coriander naan and the egg rice and if you spend £30 you get a free garlic bread ( supreme is delicious) 😋

Food was absolutely delicious and honestly, the menu descriptions would have added an extra star because they were good, informative and I learned a few things.

The spicy chips and customer service were amazing, cannot fault. The curry was wasn’t the best though, had a funny taste and chicken was dry. Shame as if this was better I would have ordered again for sure.

Very disappointed to have tecirved chips with chicken nuggets when everything we ordered said it was vegan. Also ordered a main version of one of the sides andnit was the size of a side. Naan didnt seem very fresh and it was extremely oily.

Received a chicken bhuna and a chicken korma with 2 x garlic naans. Can't fault the food tho 10/10. Didn't complain because the food was so good. Pricey compared with other Indian takeaways though

2nd time trying and the food was absolutely lovely as before. Tender lamb which falls apart in your mouth. spices were just right. Delivery on time and very nice chap

This is our favourite Indian in the area however tonight we were really let down. Delivery driver didn’t come to the door just stood at our car and expected us to come out and collect it? The chips were rock hard and mostly inedible and both naan breads were incredibly burnt and flakey.

The chicken bhuna is one of the best I’ve had a real treat, samosas crispy hot and fresh, great portion sizes for the price too

Our first time ordering it can red hot the curry was mind blowing my wife who is hard to please with Indian food was also really happy with her dish will be definitely returning the best Indian food in our local area well done chef

Some of the best takeaway food we’ve had in Clay Cross. We can highly recommend the lamb karahi, mushroom rice, saag aloo and the garlic bread was absolutely delicious. We also had a noodle dish, but couldn’t eat it as it was too spicy. However, the item did say ‘very hot’ I just didn’t read it properly so that’s my fault! 5/5!

Used this place a few times now as it’s decent food and good value. Wait time was understandable being a Saturday but there was no doner in my mixed sizzler which was disappointing as it states doner, chicken and beef. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew I wouldn’t get any doner as that’s what I wanted and if it was sold out or unavailable it shouldn’t have allowed me to place the order or I should have been notified.

Absolutely beautiful food, I have tried every Indian restaurant within Chesterfield, Clay Cross and Bolsover and this one wins hands down, replacing my previous favourite (west bars tandoori). I had chicken tikka masala, egg rice and garlic naan. It is a little bit pricey but I don't mind paying more for quality food, would be nice to have a few free poppadoms thrown in but it's not a deal breaker! 😁

Delivery was a little late due to driver issues however they called me to let me know which I really appreciate. Food is amazing. Best samosas around

Food was good, portion size was huge (to big) needed reheating, but that's hardly surprising given it was over an hour late. First time I've used this restaurant so can't comment on whether this is normal or not.

Onion bargees very tasty, popadoms nice and crispy, delicious garlic nan perfect for dipping into the very tasty thick madras sauce that is superbly spiced that is accompanied by a generous portion of very succulent chicken that melts in the mouth and doesn’t need a knife to cut it. This is an excellent quality Indian takeaway and a gastronomical delight to the natives of Clay Cross.

Really enjoyed my curry, chips and nan bread. My partner wasn’t overly keen on his pizza, said it was a bit spicy. Free cheesy garlic bread was tasty. We collected, so had no issues with delivery.

Ordered late evening just on the off the chance for a lazy night, food was amazing! The lamb was honestly of the best lamb I've had from a takeaway, tender, juicy. Also which was a surprise, as I was the last delivery of the night, I got some extras, lamb chops and another curry which were stunning and glad I got to try. Only Indian ill be order from, from now on!

Good curry, however portions sizes were smaller than expected and was more expensive than other takeaways. Free supreme garlic bread was amazing.

worst order ever, over an hour and half late to have only half my order delivered and the items delivered two were wrong. I paid over £60 and only £30 of my order. I called them and they told me they would send out the missing items in 20 mins, another hour and a half and still nothing!! i started the order at 7:30 its now 10:44 very poor!!!

Been waiting two and a half hours for meal.phoned takeaway hour ago said 10 minutes . still waiting now

I had food last night from new moonlight it’s freshly cooked and tasty . the shish and chicken tikka kebab one of the best kebab in Claycross . Friendly staff and nice food I will recommend all community to try food from this place. One of the best curry place aswell

Banging food. Had Donner, shish, tikka mixed kebab. Perfectly made with naan bread. Food was delicious. Service with a smile from the boss, who's a bubbly character. Will defo come back again.

The guy I spoke to was amazing added my extra item also tweeking my order to my satisfaction which I really appreciated. Food was delivered bang on the time specified.which was beautiful and except the chips were hot. Wasn't too keen on the onion bahjees. Still amazing though and will be back to try other things.

Not a happy experience compared to first one. Most of order wrong asked for meal deal didnt even be included in order, asked for special kebab salad and garlic mayo got the kebabs but smothered in chilli sauce not garlic mayo so my partner couldnt even eat her food. The curry was the only thing that was correct. Dreadful even phoned to ask about missing meal and had to pay extra without drink included too. NOT RECOMMENDED TO OTHERS!!!

Cold chips burnt poppadoms overcooked dry chicken burger. The only thing really okay was the curry.

This was the first time I had ordered from here, but it won't be the last. The food was freshly cooked, hot and very tasty. I asked for a recommendation from the chef for a vegetable dish and was pointed in the direction of a veg bhuna. It was rich and very flavoursome indeed. The staff were very polite and welcoming and the premises were very clean. Well worth the five stars I have given

ordered from here and everything was so confusing, for one meal they put chicken in the sauce and the other 2 were in seperrate tubs so we were confused thinking we were missing a box of chicken. never even ended up getting popadoms i ordered either. fuming

It is far from being the best Indian takeaway in Clay Cross as they are pricey and the food is tasteless. I ordered a King Prawn Vindaloo and it came with 2 prawns divided into 4 little pieces. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spent almost £50.00 Overall, I’m just quite disappointed and this is by far the worse Indian takeaway we’ve had.

Ordered for the first time to try it. My partners pizza wasnt to bad. My kebab on the other hand was swimming in grease, taste awful, made me sick about 10 minutes after eating it. And to top it of found a hair in my chips. I rang the shop up to tell them of the problems I had and they offered to send me a new kebab out. After the awful taste of the one I just had I obviously said no thanks I didnt want another one due to feeling sick over the first one. He then when on to rudely say no problem and just put the phone down. Rude service. Awful food. Would definitely never use again. Spend your money at other places. Just vile...

Oh my god, totally terrible, thought we would give it a go for a change, received order 2 hours after ordering, turned up flat cold, pizza and garlic bread was hard as nails and tasted stale. Expensive food as it went in the bin. Very very disappointed. NEVER AGAIN. Shocking.
