Known as one of the best Chinese takeaways in scunthorpe for the last 30 years, should think about expanding as the only bad point is how busy it gets. Well worth the wait though

Been had food from here for many of years excellent food and good portion sizes enough for two days

Food is always delicious the only gripe is when the person answering the phone says 40mins for collection it should be 40mins not arrive after 40mins and the wait a extra half hour.

Just been to moon palace Scunthorpe for something to eat and what can I say. It was nothing but fantastic from start to end there sweet and sour sauce is just gorgeous were as some iv been to has been more nose burning then sweet but this was fab bit pricey but get what you pay for I will definitely be back thank you

Service was good. Unfortunately the salt and pepper chips and chicken wings had no flavour what so ever. Even the free second portion was bland, no kick or flavour what so ever!. The special chow main and the duck roll's were nice.

Great food has been highly recommended by a family member, who was very impressed .

It's definitely the best Chinese take-away in the area. We moved to the area 1 year ago and tried all the others, used Moon Palace for the 1st time yesterday, and were back again this evening. Just a note its collection and cash only.

Gone downhill since last visit, chicken balls not cooked enough and the chou main was the same. Was asked to pick up in 35 min but when I arrived I waited another 20 min

Reheated salt and chilli chicken ( 3 meals) resulting in very chewy and tough bites and dry chicken chow mein. Very disappointed as it was a £43 order.

Chicken ball meat was scarce and slimy. Satay sauce tasted awful. Salt n Chilli chips weren't awful.

Nothing I can say other than it’s definitely my favourite Chinese in Scunthorpe. It’s just a shame I live quite a fair way from it, otherwise they’d probably have my custom every night!

Delicious food but online menu out of date re pricing and no prawn crackers given as standard

Well ... this small, clean and tidy take away is very close to where I live, but in 6 years we have never tried it until this evening and what a lovely surprise!!! I had a chicken chow mein and my husband had a Szechuan chicken with boiled rice, the meals came with a bag of free prawn crackers.... What a wonderful surprise they were both delicious!!!! Give it a visit you may be surprised and the price was quite good at just over £14. The only thing I would say is most of the meals do NOT include rice or chips... they are an extra !!!

Lovely food . I dont have meat dishes as I'm vegan. I had vegetable curry and I must say it wasnt much like curry . Still tasty but not like curry. I should have got a pot of curry sauce to go with my mushroom chow mein. I will know next time . Yes I will be going back.

We have just moved to the area, thought we would try Moon Palace because it was the closest, I can honestly say it has been as good a takeaway meal I have had for a long time. Can highly recommend the Szechuan Beef. They dont accept cards but as long as you are aware it's no issue for me.

Easily the best chinese takeaway in Scunthorpe. Would highly recommend. Food is very high quality and isn't as expensive as other chinese's we have been to. We can usually feed a family of five for under £25.

First time we have used this establishment n boy oh boy we will be using again service at the counter was top notch and very helpful, we had rice, chicken, prawns, beef and mushrooms n was delighted with our order , just be aware they DO NOT except credit cards from anyone, cash only so be prepared

The chicken balls was rubbery and oily and they forgot to put the prawn crackers in.

Ordered from here for the first time on Easter Monday we had chips, curry sauce, Singapore noodles and crispy rolls and can honestly say it's the best Chinese we've ever had. Everything was really tasty and fresh. It was lovely and warm when we collected after 15 mins and good value even though the menu prices on the website are old prices and incorrect. We now have an up to date menu and a favourite Chinese :)

This is the only Chinese in Scunny that’s worth it. Clean, doesn’t smell and the food is delicious.

Been here a few times and once I move to the area I will be coming more regularly. I can be pretty picky as an eater but can’t fault the food here. Can be quite congested in the actual building during busy periods but that can only be expected so the wait is worth it. All in all very impressed.

Our family have been enjoying moon palace takeaways for 39 yrs wouldn't go anywhere else.The food is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

I had Chicken in Garlic sauce which was ok. Only issue was that the chicken was cooked and added to the sauce which was delicious. If the chicken had been stir fried and the sauce added it would have been more moist. But it was dry.

Ordered Duck but got the smallest portion ever. Quite disappointing but it's better than nothing. Sweet and sour chicken was OK.
