What a lovely little gem in the heart of Birmingham, this small family run business in The Bullring serves up the most delicious selections of bubble tea and frozen yoghurt. Try the slushy versions of everything, will certainly get your taste buds satisfaction. All staff are polite and very helpful in guiding me to ordering my first bubble tea and frozen yoghurt. The service was quick and efficient. Will certainly be back here for more delicious refreshments, can't wait! :-p

I know taste is subjective, but this was the worst bubble tea I've ever had. My friend ordered taro milk tea, and I ordered Thai tea milk tea. His also tasted awful. We were trying to figure out which one tasted worse and could not decide. Mine tasted like a tinge of Thai iced tea bombarded with sugar, stale (powdered) dairy creamer, and water. The tapioca pearls were rubbery and didn't taste like anything. Normally you're supposed to coat them in sugar syrup and boil them until they're soft, but it looks like they forgot one step and overdid the other. What resulted was a drink I probably could have made myself, and did once actually, which is why I know why and how it sucked. I don't want to pay 8+ pounds for two terrible drinks I could have made for free. 2 stars because the cashier was friendly

Today I went to order my tea and I wanted lychee jelly but they gave me lychee popping boba (which was gross). I rarely order bubble tea as it’s a treat so i’m not the best at ordering so I was unaware that there were two different types of lychee (jelly and popping boba). I thought lychee was just the name for the jelly. When the server asked me what topping I wanted I said ‘lychee’ and he said okay, I paid and waited. As stated before I received popping boba, when I questioned it the lady who handed me my drink said ‘LYCHEE popping boba’ emphasising the lychee part. oh I should have said more - like, it’s not what I meant to order but I felt pressured by the queue behind me so I left. Never in my time in customer service have I assumed what a customer wants if they don’t order with enough detail. Something to work on but mistakes are made

Visited this boba stall this Tuesday and as boba tea drinker, I can confidently say it didn’t taste anything like it. Flavour wise and consistency wise totally rubbish(offcourse it will be since it was made with semi skimmed) weird options to combine things as my usual flavour of boba tea wasn’t even available here, for the people who die for teas here and keep coming back, you guys don’t know better. Try others then you ll know what I mean thanks

I have probably bought about 100 drinks from here and I don’t think I’ll ever stop! Well if there’s ever an award for the best bubble tea store, it belongs to these guys. A choice of milkshakes, slushes, bubble teas (fruity and milky) served at your preferred temperature. Not to mention the incredible flavours. Can’t chose what flavoured popping boba or jelly you want? No worries, get MIXED! The staff are incredibly polite, always very quick at their job as I received great service every time. I often tag and share the family run business on my Instagram stories (amyclark.x). Which they then share on their own page. I also have a reusable cup which allows me to get a percentage off my orders each time I go to refill it! Without a doubt, I would suggest going to this amazing store as a quick refreshment while shopping in the Birmingham bullring because you will not be disappointed. For the amazing flavours of China, bought to your doorstep.

Super quick an efficient service. The girl who served me quickly whizzed through all the options, which makes it easier when ordering as it covers all bases. Tasty bubble tea and well-priced. My only issue is that they only use creamers for their milk teas so you can't get dairy-free milk teas. This is the only bubble tea place I have come across that don't offer soya milk etc as an alternative.

I have been twice and both times I have been ill . It turns out I'm lactose intolerant so when I ask for my order for cold coffee and no milk and both times the staff put milk in. Go elsewhere bubbleology opposite Victoria Secret has more options for a cheaper price and is suited better to dietary requirements .

If Willy Wonka decided to open a tea factory instead of a chocolate factory, the result would most certainly have been the drinks produced at the Mee Cha kiosk. I honestly felt like I was having something from the tea-equivalent of that famous factory (assuming that it's as good as it sounds in the story).I've been to quite a few bubble tea places in different cities, from Hong Kong to Barcelona to Manchester......and now Birmingham! The pineapple bubble (based on black) tea was quite honestly the best I've had in my life. Not only do they offer competitive prices (most bubble tea drinks are around the £3 mark) but they also offer a range of diverse toppings which complement each other really well. It's not just your standard popping juice balls, jellies and tapioca pearls that you'll get.......oh no no no, they up the ante and do things in a far more sophisticated way here, giving you the 'specialities' which I love as only a native Hong Konger can do: red bean, grass jelly (actually a lot nicer than it sounds) and (mango) pudding. The best thing is that you can mix and match without the usually expected extra charge.I have to admit, it wasn't perfect. They seem to downgrade the size of the tapioca pearls (they were a lot smaller than all of the other places I've tried) to accommodate and allow extra space for all that other deliciousness to fit in! However, in my opinion, they could nonetheless afford to increase the size of the tapioca pearls without taking up much space away from the other toppings (and making it feel like you're eating a dessert rather than having a tea-based drink). Also, although the pudding is naturally soft and easy to suck up through the straw, it would still help if they could break it up into slightly smaller pieces to facilitate ease of consumption. Nevertheless, I can't help but remember that delightful concoction of tastes exploding in my mouth......will have to go back to try another one before I leave Birmingham. The menu is straightforward to understand and the staff were friendly and efficient. In fact......forget the best bubble tea I've ever had, I would go as far as to say that it's probably the best drink I've ever had!

I was visiting birmingham for a couple days and stumbled upon this place in the bullring. Saw a massive queue everytime I walked by so I decided to try one to see what the hype was about. The service was really friendly and the bubble tea itself is one of the nicest I've tried. They had so many different flavours to try from and the popping boba we tried was a nice touch.Although I did not ask for help because I knew what I wanted, I saw the staff advising new customers which flavours were nice and they sounded very knowledgable about their own product.Loved it so much that I grabbed another bubble tea before I left birmingham :))

I wanted to try this, never tried bubble tea before, so I went with the popular green tea with tapioca pearls. Well the green tea was nice enough but nothing special. The pearls for me were vile. When I sucked one of those slug like balls up the straw I couldn't bear to swallow it. I didn't even know what it was or the ingredients. Just an absolute Nono for me. The staff here are really friendly though. Just this drink is an acquired taste....£3 to try isn't too expensive though so have a go
