Monroe's Pizzeria in Doncaster

Food was ordered at 9:15 didn’t arrive until 23:25, called a few times to ask where it was, phone operator just said the driver couldn’t find us but he would be 10 minutes, 30 minutes passed still no food. Called again manager answered said sorry he said no one answered the door but we have ring doorbell and no one came to deliver any food, he said sorry I will send him back can I have your postcode. Food eventually arrived stone cold and of poor quality, ordered loaded fries all they was were chips cheese and mushrooms, pizza wasn’t cooked properly, and covered in grease. Order from here regularly but will not be again after today’s performance.

Definitely order again very tasty and non greasy chicken for the salad and quick delivery time. The food was amazing and it was very tasty

Absolutely disgusting 2hrs late keep well away I would have sooner eaten the box it come in I did try n cancel after an hour n half wen I rang again it turned up £18 00 later for a load of s××t never again

We ordered a delivery yesterday. One item was for chilli loaded fries and NO cheese. It came with cheese on top. Even though we tried to scrape it off…it caused problems for my dairy intolerant daughter in law. Because it was later in the evening..it was too late to ring and order another. NOT happy.

Monroes in Mexborough's longest-standing pizzeria. I'd imagine that it must easily be 30+ years in business by now. The shop is always very clean and Mannu and his team are polite and friendly - nothing ever seems too much for them. The food is great, the the Calzones being a particular highlight. The prices are average, with some good special offers too.

Do not order from here as they are incapable of getting an order correct. They never deliver on time and food missing. They even get the delivery staff to blame themselves for the shops incompetency. When you complain they just lie to you. I will never give this place an order again. They even have the nerve to charge a service charge, it's a complete joke!!!!

My lord what a down fall this place seam to have taken order 4 pizzas and a garlic bread the garlic bread was just over cooked pizza base with a hint of garlic 6 piece in bin the pizzas were very poor stodgy bases and increadably salty toppings I'd say at least 60% in binYou live and learn wont be gong back they even got the bill wrong twice according to the web cost but that was just insult to injury compared to the rubbish they served us best part was the quality of the boxes

Just ordered two nan bread kebabs mixed meat (Donner and chicken) the bread was so hard I could not eat it the chicken meat was rubbery I don’t even think it was cooked properly, it bothered me that much that I had to drive to the takeaway to show the owner the state of the food he had sent me, all he said was sorry I will give you £10 of your next order, laughable is the word as if I’m going back again (NOT).Please save your money and don’t try this food.

Orderd food on just eat..was 40 minutes late when finally got here the food was freezing cold plus half the order was missing..I called the shop to explain what had gone off,they said they would cook fresh and re deliver..no point as by this time I was past it so they offered to send the rest of my order and give me a fraction of what I paid back..the rest of my order came but no refund..so basically I paid 25 pound for a bottle of pop and a desert..never again will they get my custom..very unprofessional to say the least

Terrible service 35 mins in shop....this was supposed to be a large mixed kebab???? Wat a rip of and chicken was dry....won’t be using again!!!!!!

I ordered from Monroe's on Sunday and it was only £1delivery charge then I ordered Monday and I was informed it had gone up to £1.50pence when I asked for the latest menu with these changers on they said they was waiting for them but they should not increase prices until they have new menues

I've had decent service from here in the past but my last 2 orders have been very poor. Told it would take an hour but it took a phone call to remind them and it eventually turned up after 2 hours! Buy one get one free offer was more than the price in the flyer ! The bread on the Mexicana one was barely cooked it was inedible. I'll try somewhere else in future

I've bought food from Monroe's many times over the years and always enjoyed my meals. Since moving away it has become a rare treat. Monroe's can claim to be one of the first pizzerias in Mexborough, having been there 29 years. You get a lovely, friendly welcome from the owner and staff. The menu varies from pizzas to burgers to kebabs. I would really recommend the pizzas which are freshly made on the premises and are absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the portions generous.Very highly recommended!
