As we are very spoilt with very good Indian restaurants in southall the food in mon mon was not up to the standard we are used to ,we had the mixed grill ,very small portions no lamb chop which you would expect to get ,the chutney on the table you got charged for which in every other Indian restaurant I have been in is free ,but the most important thing was it was over priced for what you got and very bland .I would not recommend this place at all

An outstanding meal, everything from decor, service to the menu was most enjoyable. Portions were great, more than enough to satisfy the largest hunger. Can’t wait to dine there again soon.

Beautiful restaurant setting, very relaxed atmosphere, clean. The food was piping hot, delicious, onion bhajis not at all greasy, the coconut rice was the best that I have tasted before by far. The chicken dishes ordered were a little on the dry side but nice enough. Service - the young lady was absolutely lovely, friendly, helpful. Though at times we really felt for her, we could hear the manner of which she was being spoken to by an older gentlemen - owner. The older gentlemen, was rather 'unique.' He wasn't rude, but abrupt in his manner. A Basil Fawlty experience by way of service. Leaning over others to place our dishes, trying to be overly helpful. Appeared to be very 'controlling,' towards other staff members, even referring to them as 'oi' on one occasion. Removing the restaurant phone from them mid conversation. His general attitude towards the young lady did not seem very welcoming, friendly or helpful at all. Appearing to install a lack of confidence in her as opposed promote confidence. The gentleman cleared our tables at the end of our meal, provided hot towels but no offer of desserts or drinks ... which was a shame and a missed opportunity on his part. We would revisit, if only to witness the entertainment that was the behaviour and service from said aforementioned gentlemen.

The food and service were second to none. We’ll definitely be back. The flavours of each dish were exquisite. Holly was a very attentive server, and ‘the boss’ served up the dishes with style.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for a curry around Stowmarket, food is spot on and good atmosphere and very clean. Jimmy has done a great job there.

You might wish to check the food hygiene standards agency before eating here. I will add. I've not eaten here but was planning to but after seeing the food hygiene standards rating. Sorry, I will not be seeing what this restaurant has to offer.

Food is ok if you eat in but takeaway is poor. They offer takeaway kebab shop style food and it is very poor and greasy. Disappointed overall.

The best Indian food around Ipswich. The food was fantastic, and I loved the portion size. I would be happier if the portions contained more chicken, but that's beside the point. I would recommend anyone try Garlic and Coriander Naan and chicken pakora as starters. It is also really well-priced. Also, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I recommend this restaurant.

Our family and friends have been going to the Curry Inn for decades, we love it for their amazing service and their secret weapon. . The chicken Sheraji! Give it a try.
