Always love their lamb soup my fav. Great service and food is available within minutes. platter for 2 for £22. Perfect for 2 to 3 people.

Prices have shot up and quantity of food gone down Set meal for 5 barely feeds 4 quality is barely hanging on. Hygiene standards needs improving.I guess everything must come from Ukraine. £50 for the large tray these people are taking the p1ss hopefully with prices like that they won't be around long.....

Eating here once a month for many years and their mandi is very delicious but atmosphere looks unhygienic and September 2024 we ate here and got food poisoning.

Been going there for last 9 years. It was very good but now the owner has gone rude,greedy and quality of food is not value for money at all. Smelly chicken shawarma, dirty plates & tables. Would not visit it ever. Unhygienic!!! Yuck 🤮

Over priced. Quality of food and customer service has been progressively getting worse. Don't order anything more than their 'plater for 2'....if need more order an extra Plater for 2. Plater for 4 is complete rip off. Just filled with rice and 2.5 peices of meat

No hygiene, itching there bums and making food

Humus and salad is very nice and so is their chilly sauce. Chicken and rice is lovely comes with a small dollop of veg curry very nice. Clean place staff are friendly

Popped in for takeaway, it was a Friday evening and very busy as you may guess but they keep up the pace and we only waited 10 minutes for 2 wraps and chips Very tasty food, chips are like fries (not stringy) but decent sized and not greasy Really helpful staff, nothing too much trouble Only negatives are it's cash only and parking is a nightmare due to their location but you won't be disappointed 😁

Today is Eid day I went to have meal at Mommos I order rice and chicken shawarma I found a hair on the food. I complained to the Boss he said to me these things happen would not refund money back so be careful. Hygienic is very poor

The platters are delicious. Not enough shawarma included which is disappointing and fries should be included considering price you pay

Great little spot to grab an awesome shawarma. Staff are great and upbeat, and you can not fault the food or prices. Highly recommend 👌

Clean food at reasonable prices

Considering it was early on a Friday night, we were seated instantly and I ordered almost instantly. I ordered a platter for 4. The food arrived exceptionally fast but I was slightly disappointed with the quantity. It looked inviting so we got tucked in. All the food tasted spot on (although I found the rice a tad salty). The chicken shawarma went perfectly with the rice and so did the rest of the meal. I had to order an extra pasta and some fries and all in all it was a tasty and satisfying meal. The food sheikh says: I highly recommend you visit the establishment!

Absolutely horrible people who serve you no manners whatsoever especially the owner (short guy with hat and attitude) He thinks because place is busy he doesn't need customers 🙄 Seen many busy places becoming empty because of stinky attitude....

This is the place where i learnt about shawarma.there food is brilliant. And especially there Arabian tea and their soup and their quality of food is always 5star and the workers are always helpful.

Platter for 2 was out of this world.. All fresh food

If I could give minus stars I would. Went for a meal and it came out cold and they never gave us water til we went down and asked for it and then when my husband went to drink out of his cup there was a chewed chewing gum in the bottom of the cup. The manager was uninterested when told about the issue.

Only accepts cash which is a big inconvenience, food came out quiet quickly when eating chicken and rice and soup basically most of what we ordered had a weird after taste like a metal taste and smell. The only thing I enjoyed was the hummus’s and coke don’t mean to be rood but this is me putting it mildly.

The place requires refurbishment and only accepts cash, though there's a cash machine right outside. The food quality was disappointing. I ordered the mixed grill, and the chicken had an off-putting odor. Their "chicken steak" was notably small and shriveled. The prices are on the lower end of mid-range, around £10 per person. Although the portions appear large, they consist mostly of an odd pasta, seemingly prepared by someone unfamiliar with cooking. Because of the meat's strange smell, the pasta was the only bearable part. As for service, it wasn't rude but felt impersonal, resembling interaction with a robot. It seemed their main goal was to move customers in and out quickly. Granted, it was a hot day, so staff might have been exhausted. Still, a simple smile or thank you would have improved the experience. I can't recommend this place.

Can't ask for anything better than this. 10/10 food. Staff is so polite and friendly. I drive 100 miles to have this awesome meal deal for 2. Been there customer for the past 11 years, and the food has still the same taste, brings back all of the good days memories

Food was very poor, compared to what momo's had been before. Prices have drastically increased, however, quality has taken a turn for the worst. Hopefully the team can improve at least to the quality they had before.

We ordered two lamb kebabs and two chicken kebabs the kabobs wasn’t fresh also it was cold..

Great service and consistent taste

All 5 star reviews are fake. Momos use to be top class food. I've been coming here fo over 24 years. I think they are under new management. The food they served me looked like left overs from other people's food. The chicken Sharma was extremely dry , then just plain dry then slightly undercooked. All of the meats in their mix grill was cheap and nasty. This meal was a bad ordeal and I'm left feeling unwell. If they served this food to animals they may face prosecution in court. The chicken stake was sliced thinly and that was a good thing cause I couldn't eat it. If they carry on like this, they will not have many return customers

Food was fine but not inspiring, upstairs seating and toilets were not clean, come on brothers, cleanliness is part of faith, as the Prophet Muhammad SAW said, you can't mix food and unclean, won't be visiting again.

Bland Middle East food, all grease and no flavour, a place for the lads to eat and talk rather than families. Not a big menu but really lacks any kind of flavour. Not somewhere I would return to.

Regularly visited since 2019, it was great in terms of cost, quantity and tatse. However, they have increased the price significantly high and the taste has deteriorated. The rice were foul/smelly and noodles were dry. Returned the food, compalined and thry refundef full money.

This place is amazing. My comfort food 🤤 I could eat here for days. The only thing is they don’t do delivery I wish they did

Great food at a reasonable price with excellent service and relaxed atmosphere

We stumbled upon this place because we were craving some rice and the food was incredible. We ordered a huge dish of chicken, lamb and rice. For 18 it fed two of us and there was some left over. What's more is how delicious the food was. Thank you!!

Great place to take family and friends for an evening meal. Food and service is excellent for the price. Served fast with drinks and desserts available also.

They don't deal with cards only cash that's a big headache otherwise food is good service is a bit rude in my opinion n that's because i guess they think there business is at peak so they don't care about treating good to customers a bit expensive not to go every day it's guna be a big load on your pocket if u are a minimum wage person n got other stuff to deal with in life like kids home bills rent etc only thing is take plenty of cash with u so that u won't return disappointed

Brought a 4 sharing meal... food arrived 30 seconds after we sat down... quick ? Bloody cold... missing items and then after all that they charged full price. How can you miss 2 lamb kebabs ?? Tasteless soup 🍲... more like water and oxo cube. Herbal tea was like Aldi green tea... also cold. Do not recommend it ... no apology after missing items .... I know things have gone up in price but there should be no excuse for missing things off your own menu .

Great food, especially (£1) beef soup. Too hungry for photos but platters are perfect for groups. Prices are making it harder to justify 😢 Regularly ordering takeaway from here, though they do have indoor seating. Free atm next door, and post office on the main Cov road. Street parking is tight but plentiful nearby.

Visited there on the other day. Friend wanted to have taste from Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Was busy times as you need to wait in line for a while to place your order. We ordered platter for two which includes Rice, Pasta, Veg Curry, ½ Chicken, Portion of LambQuzi & Chicken Shawarma served with Salad. lambQuzi was a bit dry but others are fine. They have also soup you can have help yourself with soup while waiting for your order. We tried lentils soup which is very nice to have it before the meal. They have also free spices black tea( mint cinnamon and cardamom ) that you can enjoy it after the meal. You can find black Thermos and cups by the soup table and help yourself with that. Downstairs it is a bit squeezed place as it is narrow but they have also upstairs place. It is worth to visit if you are around and see not busy time.

EDIT: Come back here after a while, the food was obviously NOT fresh. The meat stunk. The chicken shawarma, rice and pasta looked like it was microwaved from 2 weeks ago. This was the go to place a while back. Not the same, perhaps a change in ownership? I went to wash my hands after the meal, there was vomit in the sink and I could clearly see why lol 👎 There’s plenty of other decent places to eat on this road. I would avoid this place. I will attach a picture of the food, see for yourself.

Dry food, food came cold and they tried to reheat it in the microwave instead of making a fresh one.

Only put one star so I can leave a review, this place don’t deserve even that. My husband and I have had food from here for years, it’s gone down hill massively, food was absolutely disgusting! Food came cold, lamb chops and chicken was dry/burnt. To top it off worker tried heating our tray of food up in the microwave when we complained about it being cold. This place needs environmental health going in there, it’s filthy! It needs shutting down! Avoid!!!

This place has been running for years serving good food. Can't beat the chicken steak and rice. The veg soup is nice also. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, hungry and want some wholesome food. Has a seating area downstairs and a family seating area upstairs. The only issue is parking.

Food was old, not fresh as it used to be. They’ve put the prices up with it. The service is really bad, they favour their own people and the regulars. Theirs plenty of nice food places, this isn’t one of them.

It isn't what it used to be. They used to serve lamb boneless curry with potatoes and it was one of their best sellers but they stopped selling it. There was too much salt in their food. It just was not what it used to be. The staff was very rude, they had an attitude and were trying to be over smart. I don't think I will be going there any time soon. There are many other similar restaurants nearby, and we will try one of those next time.

Very impressed. Delicious arab food, and decent portions and prices. This will always be one of our go tos for authentic arab food. This is actually one of my hubbys fav places to eat!

Absolute terrible food. Food was not cooked fresh. They gave an pre cooked kebabs that was reheated. Update: The meat was rotten as we took home food and the fridge stank the next day.

Love this place food is amazing

I usually like that desi spicey kick in my food, and I know arabic food is like bland compared to what I'm use to. I was surprised food was very tasty and meat was well cooked and it had good taste to it, not spicey but food was succulent, definitely worth a try, if I fancy a slightly healthier tasty meal, I will be comming to momos.

You get a lot of high quality ingredients for your money. Incredible! Great service, great food and we were all full without breaking the bank. We got the share platter for three for four of us and we still had leftovers 😅😋

Gave us expired meat. Claimed it was just parsley smell. Charged us full price and we didn't even eat the food. We literally left the entire platter untouched. These guya are a disgrace. Pathetic customer service and food hygiene. Should be closed down.

Well the food is still the same, still good quality, however the prices have now gone up. It is now £7 for a meal, the prices have steadily increased rising from £5 a couple of years ago to £6 and now £7. When the price rise was questioned it was highlighted that the cost of the products had also increased e.g. chicken, rice etc., I guess the price rises for food items is seen elsewhere as well.

It was a busy area. I loved the rice and lamp pieces, they were tender and delicious. They serviced the food within 10 mins. I recommend you all– who want to have Arabian food– go to this restaurant.

Had a sharing platter for 4. Get a bottle of drink and the quality is better than the surrounding restaurants that offer the same food so it's better value for money from here I'd say. Serving for 4 managed to feed 5 people with it, so the overall portion size is good but would be better if they added a bit more lamb to the platter. Quick service, only waited 10 minutes. Our family are fairly regular customers here, I'd defo recommend it
