MoMoMo in City of London, Westminster

Great stuff, good quantity of food. Loved the chop suey and Momos (gyoza). Reminded me of Indian Chinese available on the streets on Mumbai.

Good place. Saw them by accident. Heard about Momo from my Nepali students so was curious when I saw this place yesterday. Staff was very helpful with this newbie, explaining and suggesting good combo. I decided on spicy beef with hakka rice, achar sauce and shallots for topping. Very tasty food! Spicy but manageable heat.

We walked past this restaurant and couldn't resist as the menu looked promising. The food did not disappoint! As a veggie - I found this place catered really well.I really liked the unique concept of building your own bowls - highly recommend the Hakka fried rice. Staff were really helpful and gave their recommendations too! We will be visiting again to try out rest of the menu :-)

Not authentic Himalayan momos! As a Nepali I got very excited when I read 'Himalayan dumplings'. The overall presentation was nice and the place itself is cool, however, the momos (dumpling) were not. I had the chicken momo which tasted like lamb, probably the excessive use of masala and the filling was so gelatinous. The hakka rice was spicy and ok. Nepali/Tibetan flavours are more subtle.

Noodles and 3 dumplings for £9 tasty and filling. Nice atmosphere friendly staff. Would go again.

Tried all four dumplings !! (Greedy me got this as a snack after lunch at £5.5 ) This is my second time trying himalayan dumplings and I loved the chicken one. The jackfruit one was sour and was unexpected… … Eventhough I didn’t enjoy one of the dumping🥲 the extremely helpful staff made up for it!! Still a 5/5 experience for me. If you haven’t tried Nepalese food do give this place a go My first time seeing pasta straw.

Nice place and colourful with an oriental smell when you pass through the door. Food was quite nice, too. Served in no time. Definitely recommended.

Probably an insult to genuine momos. I came here for lunch on a quiet afternoon. I tried all their momos. All were lukewarm, overcook and stodgy. The only pleasant thing was the coconut and turmeric sauce. I also tried their momo chai. Disgusting drink that is undrinkable and unbearable. It’s pre-made with sugary powders, tastes nothing like chai and gave me an upset stomach. They keep the pre-made ‘chai’ on a heated plate for god knows how long. Please save yourself the money and buy lunch from the Pret next door if you want a decent lunch. I will never return to this place.

First of all to even call the dumplings (cold and overcooked) momos is not only an insult but a lack of recognition of what Momos actually is. The chowmein was overcooked and stodgy. The so called nepalese achar was to say the least underwhelming and lack of taste. Call it dumplings. Please do not call it momos. It is lack of respect of a cuisine.

Loved this place! Amazing momomo's, full of flavour, enjoyed the Mo slaw and the green sauce was yummy! Loved the choices given to create your own bowl, and washed down with a refreshing cucumber and mint lemonade! Fantastic and friendly staff, overall a great spot to grab a bite to eat!

The food is super tasty and it's great to be able to pop in for a late dinner too!

I do love a momo! The spiced beef with fried rice is probably my favourite but I run through all the combinations on a regular basis to mix things up. Highly recommend!

Love eating here and getting my far eastern lunchtime kick. it’s perfect for lunch. I’ve tried all three “flavours” of the momos and all three are tasty. Portion size is just right for me. Can’t wait for them to bring out more varieties.

Hadn't tried momo dumplings before and they were all great! The chicken and tofu momos were my standouts with the hakka rice and loads of sauce! Will definitely be going back to try everything else.

I really enjoyed MoMoMo, not only was the food great, but the staff and service were matched! I had the chicken momo with rice and added as much spice as I wanted, couldn't ask for a dish more to my taste! The mango & ginger lemonade is a top tier beverage too!! 6/5 stars!

Great selection of MoMos! Authentic taste with lovely service. Caters well for Vegetarians, and a well thought through selection of sauces that have clearly been developed with effort and an authentic focus.

Quantity-wise, it was okay. But momo-wise, only chicken momo was up to scratch. Beef and Jackfruit had weird spices/flavouring. The base, rice was dry and egg noodles was a bit bland. May have been tweaked to suit western tastebuds but people used to authentic taste would be sorely disappointed.

Momos were okay but the rice as a base was really dry and overcooked. Don't think I would try it again.

Fast and efficient. The soup was very good but the slaw was bland. Clean and nice decor. I would go again.

Concept is cool, tried the jackfruit dumplings which were ok and the spinach ones which were really good but rice as base was overcooked. Will try again other options for the base though!

Great atmosphere, the momo's are soft and delectable and the mango and ginger lemonade is addicting and its great for the environment boasting vegan options and 100% recyclable materials

Great place for lunch in the city, the Timur Pepper Chicken Momos were awesome. Lot's of variety on the menu, looking forward to going back

Really enjoyed this place. Ordered Spiced Beef Momo with Chow Mein added the extra chilli - lovely Also highly recommend the Jhol (A traditional Nepalese tomato soup) its a must try. Comes with the Momom option.

I have a better name for this place “NoNoNo” Overpriced and lack of options. Dim sum: expensive, small and tiny filling. Itsu dumplings are much better. Rice: dry and strange texture like under cooked. Half of the rice went into a bin. Salad: I didn’t try as I could choose either rice or veg. Or buy extra side. I went to M&S to grab a decent salad instead. One of the worst and plainest food I’ve ever had.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food at MoMoMo was absolutely exceptional! My meal was delectable and tasted heavenly. I was spoilt for choice among the many enticing menu options. The Hakka Fried Rice and Spicy Jackfruit Momos with the Green Sauce was addictive. The team take care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place. Houndsditch has found the missing factor finally! If you only do one thing today, make it a priority to visit MoMoMo. You won’t regret it.

Big thumbs up! Something different from the norm and super tasty. Great choice for vegetarians. The tofu, spinach dumplings have to be tried as does the mango and ginger lemonade! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic new place to have lunch in the city, love the flavours and concept. Also, great vegan options and kudos for the sustainable straws (made from pasta) that don’t self destruct like the paper ones

Fantastic new lunchtime venue and fun brand! The food is really great and the place itself looks fab. Love the blinking neon momos. Oh and definitely try the cucumber and mint lemonade – it has a real cayenne pepper kick!

Too much plastic and not very tasty, also very expensive for the portion size. Was really hopeful for this but unfortunately won’t be returning

The food was fresh and tasty ! The menu has so many combinations so you can find something to suit every palate. I had the tofu and jackfruit momos with hakka fried rice and green sauce. Thank you MoMoMos for giving us vegetarians such a exciting menu. The momos just melted in my mouth. MoMoMo Houndsditch I will be back very soon to try another meal combo.

Great new & exciting place in the city! Really delicious food and great customisations available to suit everyone's tastes. The tablet ordering system is also really good for those in a rush. Would definitely recommend a visit!

This place is a real 💎, Great food and friendly staff. I tried the Juciy chicken momo's with hakka fried rice topped with green spicy jalapeño and coriander sauce, absolutely amazing and filling.

The food is fantastic, I really enjoyed it. I had the chicken momos with rice and am already looking forward to having them again! I also tried the jackfruit momos with slaw and really enjoyed them - not as much as the chicken ones though. Highly recommended!

I’m absolutely obsessed with this place! The food is delicious and I cannot wait to eat here again. The staff are attentive and ready to help. The restaurant has a lovely friendly feel to it and I cannot recommend it enough!

Something unique and new in the Liverpool St area. Varied menu so there's something to suit everyone. Perfect portions sizes for lunch or dinner. For me, the chicken MoMo's with Rice in Green sauce gets the thumbs up!
