On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give this place a try - it's fairly unassuming from the outside, but inside it was really warm and welcoming - a kind of 'home from home'. The coffee was some of the best that I've had for a while and the cakes were tasty and ensured that this visit wasn't to be the last! ;) Keep up the good work!

A lovely coffee shop on Easter Road! We enjoyed very nice coffee and hot chocolate, and can highly recommend the cardamom buns!

Lovely food and great coffee. Music just far too loud and so sadly won’t be going back. Found it hard to have a decent conversation. Also felt like I was imposing in someone’s house as it seemed that only regulars were there apart from us. This is all a personal response to the place so may suit others of course.

We had the best coffee we’ve had in Edinburgh in this unassuming little cafe. Would highly recommend - the staff were lovely.

They do the best cinnamon and cardamom buns - sweet, homemade and always fresh! So far I've been in for take away buns and coffee, planning to come in for a sit in lunch soon! There are some pricy places nearby but i think Mo Beans are great!

Great service and food! My girlfriend and I were visiting in Edinburgh for vacation and decided to stop in for breakfast and it was wonderful. I had an Egg muffin and cinnamon bun which were both very good and you could tell they were homemade. The coffee was also very delicious (Hot Mocha). Would definitely come back!

Excellent food, all freshly made. Stumbled upon it and would highly recommend. You can tell the owner really cares about giving a great service and adds a very personal touch, not seen in many cafés anymore! If I'm back in Edinburgh I'll definitely stop by!

My boyfriend and I found this place by chance, and just fell in love with the food and service. Everything was fresh and cooked to order, all the food was tasty and well presented. The guy behind the counter was just lovely and patient when explaining us everything we asked. Just as a plus, there was the cutest and most polite dog in the world, wondering around and giving customers a welcoming cuddle. Would recommend and come back whenever we could.

My boyfriend and I had breakfast there and really enjoyed the food. Everything cooked to order, great taste and the service was as amazing as everything we ate. Very helpful guy at the counter, helped us with tips about the city, and was patient when clarifying everything we asked. The dog inside made the ambience even more friendly and relaxed. Would highly recommend it to everyone who wants a nice and lovely spot to eat in Edinburgh.

We often go here for a nice cappuccino with some fresh bakes or lunch. Great quality and very affordable. The owners (and the dog) are super nice and friendly. In the back of the cafe there is a cosy "living room"- style space with books and board games. Highly recommend it.

Lovely cafe with a great variety of sweet and savoury cakes / snacks and lunch all had prepared by the owner. The coffee is amongst the best in Edinburgh. Great owner and you've got to love the Labrador Nunoh!

We found this little haven on Easter Rd as it started to rain. The Carrot, Lentil and Bacon soup was delicious. Coffee and home made goodies looked good too but we didn’t have time to stay. Loved the resident Labrador called Nuno!

This place has everything good -- yummy food, comfy couches, pleasant service, and good coffee, plus a resident pup who does tricks for the treats left in the jars on the tables! The cafe is open to other dogs as well. My only complaints would be the slight overpricing of the coffee for the size you receive, and that sometimes service can lack a bit of energy, making it slow; I wouldn't recommend coming here right before you catch a bus! I will likely return here for the fresh food and comfy atmosphere.

A lot of heart goes into that place! It won the brownie awards for two consecutive years for a reason. No one can feel lonely, the coffee and the good food chase the blues away. Or maybe it is Nunu?If only I lived in Edinburgh...

I had a delicious quiche there for lunch, good vegetarian option stuffed with my favorite pine nuts and creamy spinach, followed by a cappuccino with a freshly-baked cardamom bun for desert. Definitely good place for vegetarians and coffee lovers, with nice music, lots of seats through the back and just a good feel being there. Will definitely be a regular there for my morning cappuccino and Saturday brunch.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

Popped into Picnics Takeaway for a quick lunch, chose their spicy chicken wrap, husband had spicy chicken on baguette. Both were stuffed with delicious chicken breast, chargrilled with spices, fresh salad, cheese, chilli sauce. Very filling, excellent value and friendly service.

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
