Absolutely abysmal, if you order a donner kebab you expect it to be made up..everything was separate in cartons, the kebab meet was curled up like it had been there since lunchtime, the sauces (chillie & garlic was from iceland) clearly on the bottle..£11.50 to do it yourself donner kebab kit, Shocking, terrible, and dam right lazy

The first time I went there, the service was amazing, but the second time I went there, there’s a staff that was unnecessarily rude to me , I tried explaining what I wanted, seems like he didn’t understand and acted like I was disturbing, then he started mumuring and speaking his language , I ordered same food but he gave me medium size instead of large and wanted to charge me for the sauce that came with it.

I asked for a lamb shish kebab. Paid for it. Forgot to give me 50p change. Asked if I wanted a salad. Wtf. I said ARE u for real. Wanted a kebab in pitta bread with salad. He looked lost and confused. Salad was tight. Never going bk. Avoid it. Been loo afterwards. Never again. £9.50.cant understand what a kebab is

We always get our takeaway kebabs from here, amazing lamb shish, Adana and chicken shish! We always get the mixed grill - lamb shish and Adana and it’s always really tasty. All served with rice and generous portion of salad and chillis. Their tarama is also really good! 10/10 would recommend and great value for money

She was in transit so met her and we got a take away from here. I love my food at all standards. Ordered a lamb shish, meat well cooked, if lacking in seasoning a little. Red cabbage wasn’t cut very finely and the lemon juice I asked for was apparently applied but 100% missing in any hint of flavour

I’ve been to Essex Grill-5 multiple times, and every visit has been fantastic. Most recently, I had a lamb kebab with chips, and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was well-seasoned and perfectly grilled, served in a warm, slightly charred flatbread with a generous drizzle of creamy white sauce. The vibrant red cabbage slaw and crisp shredded lettuce added a fresh crunch, while the golden fries on the side made for a satisfying meal. The portion size was more than generous, and the flavours were spot on. Beyond the food, the customer service here is amazing. The staff are always welcoming, smiling, and making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It was warm and comfortable inside, and we were able to sit down and enjoy our meal. When it came to toppings, the staff were incredibly accommodating, happily adding more when requested. Essex Grill-5 is not only great for individual meals but also delivers on big orders. We placed a massive order for a party of 50, and they handled it flawlessly. Everything arrived on time, fresh, hot, and just as delicious as when dining in. This is hands down one of the best kebab spots in Shenfield. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

570 Rayleigh RoadMy daughter booked Mesken for Mother’s Day (yesterday) we have been many times before and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere yesterday I was very disappointed our table was booked for 3pm at 4.20 we had not been given the desert menu and asked did we want desert if not could we finish our drinks the bar area as they were waiting for the table we ordered dessert and my husband had a coffee whilst I was still eating and my husband had only just had his coffee arrive the waiter put the bill on the table I felt we was being rushed out when my daughter booked she was never given a time frame I don’t expect to sit there all day but I though we would of had the table for 2 hours which I think is normal
