Miu Miu in Bromsgrove

Well, give this place a dollop of nothingness on top of ripping you off. Quite simply the blandness Chinese I’ve experienced. Don’t order the starters and expect anything more than a splattering of seaweed that looks more than something you’d sneeze out. Truly awful. They don’t take card as they are love to avoid tax.

Ordered the hors d'oeuvres for two and they they were pretty dire. The "seaweed ." Let me be clear: there was hardly any seaweed to be found. It was more like a sprinkle of wilted, lifeless strands disguised as a within the meatless bones . It was a pitiful excuse for seaweed. Miu Mui should be ashamed to even advertise such a minuscule portion of seaweed on their menu. Furthermore, the overall experience at Miu Mui was a lesson in managing expectations. Any anticipation I had was swiftly replaced with a sense of regret for choosing this place. If you're seeking a satisfying takeaway experience, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Within walking distance you will find far better.

Staying in Bromsgrove for a few days, I checked out the Chinese takeaways and as this one had good hygiene ratings, I thought I'd try it. I wanted to do a comparison with my favourite takeaway at home, so chose some of the same dishes. Not only did this compare very well in terms of the food, but it was significantly cheaper AND I got some free prawn crackers. Friendly staff and easy parking. Highly impressed.

Excellent Chinese, one of the best we’ve found in and around rubery and bromsgrove. Ordered a few dishes to try a bit of everything. Salt and chilli crispy chicken was brilliant along with the Asian street food boxes. We did order a Thai prawn curry and ended up receiving a Chinese curry instead. Everything tasted fresh and well Cooked. Will definitely be returning here. It is a shame they do not deliver.

Had Singapore chow mein and chicken chow mein ..... Got it home the Singapore chow mein was very dry and powdery, the chicken chow mein was the same but came with no chicken . It's not the First time I've had poor food from here. I shouul of learnt my lesson the last time.Both were put in the bin. Quite expensive too

We came here as we are staying in a hotel nearby and fancied a takeaway. Excellent food and fast service, we popped into the shop to order and food was ready in good time, considering it was very busy in there too. The chicken satay was particularly nice. The only thing I would say is to make sure you order the chow mien with the “gravy” (sauce), otherwise you just get plain noodles. Highly recommend this takeaway!!

Mui Mui is now, sadly, defined by its reluctance to modernise. No allergen menu, and the server had no idea about what was in the food. They used to charge for card payments, but when that became illegal they stopped accepting cards altogether. Food is fine, but overpriced. It’s a real shame that they lack competition in the area.

Everything we ordered was Ok but nothing special. The Thai red curry in particular was quite bland. The most annoying thing was that it is still cash only. Why?

I keep returning here, I especially like the chicken satay which I find better than anywhere else. I do understand some of the negative comments, my wife would agree with some of them since it does sometimes depend on an individuals tastes. This is a busy takeaway so I would suggest ordering ahead, there are always people sat waiting for their orders. They are a little pricey, compared to the opposition, but typically efficient and very hygienic standards.

This was one of the first to open after lockdown it was OK but nothing stood out and a little expensive and they only took cash.

We have just experienced our first and last visit to this takeaway, firstly I must say the premises are very clean and it smelled like a posh hotel when you walk in and there is great parking that’s as far as my favourable review goes now for the actual food, now we only had rice chips and curry sauce as we wanted quick bite after long journey so got good home plated up and sat down to enjoy some nice food it smelled lovely quite gingery to me and much darker in colour to your usual Chinese curry sauce fair portion so far so good first fork full nice kick we thought but after couple more forkfuls we were reaching for a cold glass of milk!!!! It was ridiculously hot!!! In fact my lips tingled and were burning hot no joke! My husband and son agreed it was too hot to eat and we all left the majority of our meals with burning mouths and lips and hungry stomachs! We really wanted to enjoy this but truly it was sooooooo hot crazy hot not enjoyable waste of money and still hungry!! We eat hot Indian spicy food but this was just hot and unpleasantly painful.... rang them to see if this was usual? Just got response of yes it’s best seller I couldn’t believe that no way!! I explained it was our first visit and we couldn’t eat it and we were so disappointed no Offer if refund discount or alternative at all will not go there ever again unless I want to burn my lips or throw money away very very very disappointed with food and customer service BEWARE.......

I Have lived in Bromsgrove all my life nearly 50 years, as long as the Miu Miu has been open we’ve used it. I’m don’t know what’s happened recently but the food isn’t as good as it used to be. We recently ordered a number of meals that simply wasn’t nice and couldn’t eat. We’ve always ordered the special dishes but now they come in small containers despite paying the extra. I have always recommended the Miu Miu takeaway but wouldn’t at the moment.

Poor, this used to be really good a couple of years ago, but now! Yuk sung like mud, dry Jill Yuen prawns and tasteless Satay. A shame as will not use again after several years of regular use.

We now use this as our go to takeaway for Chinese as it is of a consistently good standard, generous portions and quick service. I particularly love the beef in black pepper sauce.

A very full menu and reasonable value for money. A mixture of cultures from Chinese to Indonesian to English.

Stopped at a local hotel but fancied a oriental meal for the evening. This place was very welcoming and VERY fast service. Would go again.

first and last time i ever use this takeaway , i ordered 2 meals , absolutely vile , even the fried rice was mushy , after 3 or 4 mouthfuls it went in the bin , complete waste of money , i would never ever use them again

Hi, have used Miu Miu takeaway 🥡 quite a few times and so far always been really good. However, last night was somewhat disappointing. Plus the card machine was not working. For £30 I think 🤔 I should have expected better ..😞

Been using this place for years and always had a brilliant take-away. Have tired other local eateries but they are not as good.

I thought I would try Miu Miu following many recommendations but was so disappointed. I ordered a number of starters and one main. Firstly everything was precooked for what must have been at least a day before. The crispy duck was frankly inedible, unbelievably dry and tough and was chunks rather than shredded. It was so tough that my daughter summed it up who loves this dish “daddy this is disgusting” from the mouths of babes. The chicken yuk sung was mush and not good at all, ribs again dry precooked reheated and tough. Finally the prawns toast also not nice at all. Maybe it’s because it was Sunday and there was no chef working but this surly cannot be the norm. However I will not be returning anytime soon.

We are regulars at Miu Miu and it never disappoints...always great food and always on time! We will continue to have our regular takeout as we know we can rely on the quality.

Whilst staying at the nearby hotel, I was so pleased to use this place several times. The food is fast and fresh, service is great too. Very well spiced, so food has flavour and heat if you choose a dish that has a chilli next to it on the menu. I tried different dishes, my favorite was Fried Chicken in Kung Po sauce. Great menu, wished it was my local Chinese.

Love the food here. The staff are always polite and helpful. Probably the best in Bromsgrove! Good prices and the food is always prepared quickly.

Recently had a refit. We have used it several times, used both telephone orders and personal visits. Not had delivery. Food is generally very good and they get the orders right. But on our last use we found the Spring Rolls and the Prawn Toast rather oversized and greasy.

We have been using the Miu Miu for a decade, The food has always been consistently good, i have always intended going through the Menu but seem to go back to favourites. Top tip phone through your order first get your order number and hey presto 10 mins later you have your food. The staff are always friendly and happy to advise on the menu.

I have been using this takeout for many years and can honestly say it is ALWAYS excellent. Staff, cleanliness and food are always splendid. I just wish they would do a delivery service.

I don’t usually review takeaways but this one is worthy of a mention. Phoned through a large order for 5 people to celebrate a Birthday. Food took about 30 minutes to cook and it was all hot and fresh. A wide range of dishes selected, starters, mains and sides, no complaints from anyone and the portions large, there was plenty of food left over! szechuan duck was very spicy and went down a treat.

I do wish these guys would open a sit down restaurant. Lovely helpful service and Theo is knowledgeable on gluten free. Felt safe in their hands and they did not disappoint. Food was delicious, will be back soon.

Have used this takeaway many times and love the food. Service is good but if you order at weekends give them plenty of time as it does get busy, probably best to phone your order in.

Love the food choices, Thai and Chinese. Very good sized portions and happy to leave out MSG if you ask. Quick and efficient rarely any mistakes in the order.

Always get quality food from Miu Miu but it's pretty steep for a takeaway. Probably the best Chinese in Bromsgrove though so worth it for a treat

Always use Miu Miu for chinese takeaway. If you want a spicy hot curry, try their Miu Miu special. Kids love their spare ribs. Not the cheapest, not the priciest. Good sized portions
