Food arrived hot and tasted good, phoned in my order and they seemed busy so the lady answering the phone asked me to hold on (not a problem) I can see how some people would find this rude but didn’t bother me.. delivery was great timing for 9.45 on a Friday night (took about 25/30 mins)

Food is okay, service is pants and if you go to order in person, don't worry the lady hates everyone it's not just you

Absolutely disgusting take away rice was stodgy beef was tough as old boots this place might be a bit cheaper than some others but the quality of the food was awful , went in bin !! Wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole . !!!

Just had a delivery from Mr. Lee's which took over an hour to arrive. I told the delivery driver that I wasn't happy abd he actually laughed. He then phoned the takeaway himself and had a fight with a colleague in my driveway! He handed me the phone to give out my card details, but I took the phone in my house - explaining it to him first that I certainly wasn't going to give my card details over the phone outside. Absolutely awful, won't use again.

Up there with the best Chinese food.We had spring rolls - best we have had.Also had special crispy noodles and special chop suey - exelent.

We have had a couple of meals now. They were very tasty . Would definitely recommend. Bonus is that they deliver to Balerno.

The receptionist should know how to behave with the customers. Her tone of voice and behaviors are really very disheartening.

Been ordering for 10plus years food good but the last few times order short phone up and they say they will send it out everything cold now and after 40 mins still no rice 🙄 time for a change

This is now my new Saturday night, have been using Mr Lee's for few months now, I was getting fed up of my old carry out place and was recommended Mr Lee's and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal we have got. Good value as well. Definitely recommend

Mr Lees is great value and nice food and it's ready quick. Much better value than some of the more expensive places.

I normally get my Chinese takeaway from Mr Lee's but I have noticed the food isn't as nice as it used to be. Even chicken fried rice tasted strange like everything was made in the same wok and I could taste the dumplings in the rice. It was not nice

The shop needs a good old fashioned clean from top to bottom if the front looks like that what is thee kitchen like??? However food has mostly always been good and service not a problem… could be friendlier in the shop though… nice to be nice and professional 👍

Sure a let down we ordered a Christmas meal 3 weeks before Christmas and asked for it to be decided for 6pm and even tipped them extra buy it didn't arrive till 7.15 and still not had an apology

Be prepared to regularly have items missing from your delivery, the be prepared to be told it might be a while till they rectify the order. Food is ok just totally let down by sloppy service.

Hi,I ordered chicken curry fried rice tonight,the chicken came presented in large cubes under cooked and tasteless,won't say to much about the sauce that came with it☠the chicken obviously has come frozen from farmfoods or similer, I won't be back. This is just my view.

Rotten food, made order and got totally different food, what's simple chips and gravey and they gave me gravey and rice, and then phoned to get rectified and told that I have to pay for delivery charge to get exchanged

Not what it used to be almost all the food got thrown away couldn't even be bothered to take it back think its changed hands recently food used to be amazing will never go back . Sorry about your lemon chicken mum will find somewhere better for you . Stay away from this one guys

Placed an order tonight at 18.20 called them back again at 17.25 they said was on route arrived at 17.45 COLD still trying to get through but not picking up the phone ether that or they see my number and just ignoring it

Ordered lazy Sunday evening dinner, prawn toast, lemon chicken and rice, food was good, arrived in 25 minutes and delivery driver was very pleasant.

Sorry to say not that impressed had coconut rice which was like raw rice in coconut milk it was like it was rushed to get it out worst meal I've had from there

Don't bother. We've used here for years and recommended to others . Tonight phoned for take away. Told 45 min delivery. 2 Hours later the food turned up. Had called to be told driver on way but nothing prepared us for the wait. Told driver we had called to cancel as the wait had been way too long. He took the food away. Good luck to whoever got that meal reheated later on!! The lady on the phone didn't even apologise when phoning to cancel..

Went to the shop to order food, asked for a beef & mushroom, along with other amounts of food, got home was only given mushrooms, so I called up to say, the he said I never heard you say that, come back to the shop I will give you for extra £1.30 , im a 20 minute walk, so i asked for it to be delivered, to be told delivery drivers will take ages , very busy. Won't be back, ended up calling another Chinese for delivery. Service is terrible ..

Well £27 lighter and now feel ill after eating from this crap hole!! The food arrived cold to start with ( had to heat it up) and could have done a better Job myself and am no chef. Am wishing I had gone to Iceland for a frozen takeaway trust me nasty over priced pile of crap. Pitty I had to give 1 star would have been minus 100 if I could have. Used to be a nice meal... Shop has went downhill ..every time i have called for a delivery i am constantly put on hold while they deal with counter orders Then when they finally return to my call the cant understand english always have to repeat order over and over again then to top It off i live 2 minutes away and had seen me wait over hour on delivery only to recieve wrong order and when you call to tell them the say its my fault for not speaking clearly Lol I have been to shop to speak to manager about bad customer service and the time it takes for staff to take my order and the fact that he needs extra staff at counter ideally english speaking . Only to be told yes i kbow but cant afford staff but prices always changing

Ordered salt and chilli tofu, spring rolls and cashews. Cashews were... cashews. Rolls were quite nice. Would not recommend the tofu, deep fried too long and hard so that the sauce didn't penetrate the tofu.

Oh dear, after 1 hour of ordering my meal. I had to phone back, i stay less than 1 mile from shop. After a quick phone call it was my fault,??????. We are short staffed, then shouting down phone. Not how you run a business. Shocking, embarrasing, sad, not my idea of how to run a busieness.

Ordered food for it to turn up burnt and inedible. Called for a replacement and the person on the phone was refusing to give it. Utterly poor to send out burnt food and to refuse a replacement. Won't be ordering from here anymore

The worst chinese i have ever had.evrrything is honey based.sweet chilli chicken, sweet and sour chicken even the shredded chilli chicken. Beef satay is ridiculous doesnt even taste like a peanut base sauce. I also ordered a chicken curry. What a disaster whoever chef is that can burn their most popular dish needs the sack.chips are rank even prawn crackers arent fried right. The only thing decent thing about food served is the cans of premaid juice. Portions are massive and when you bring this all to their attention they are super rude. Even when your not complaining they are super rude. Plus the place looks actual manky. I gave this a try several times but as i got food poisoning while pregnant i wont be trying again

Worst sweet and sour I have ever tasted, no pork just pork fat in pieces the size of my pinky nail, fast service but terrible food, try anywhere else and you will get a better meal

I had an insect cooked into my prawn cracker. They refunded my meal and wanted it back. I will never ever ever go back there for food in future. It looks like a baby co croach cooked into my prawn cracker. I wish I could post a photograph of this. Not happy at all :(((( I have an environmental health officer coming to collect the meal tomorrow morning. I cannot believe this I feel sick. Zoom into prawn cracker Environmental officers involved The environmental health contacted me today stating they had also mistaken this as a cocroach when it was a moth which landed on the prawn cracker after taken out the frier. They have set traps and checked the premises thoroughly and assured me that their place was to good standard. It was a one off situation that unfortunately happened to me.

Had another great takeaway from Mr Lee last night. Food was just right (especially enjoyed both the udon noodles with king prawns and the salt & chilli ribs). Quick, efficient and a good deal to boot!

3.5 stars currently?! More like 5.5 stars if you ask me. If only I could leave that rating! Never have I ever had a better Chinese take out in my life. In a word: phenomenal. In two words: absolutely phenomenal. In three words: really good meal.

Lemon Chicken so disappointing. Lemon sauce was lemon flavoured water in separate container. Disgusting. No taste. Chicken was rubbery and cold. Waste of money.

The food here is very good quality and I feel relatively well priced for the portion sizes. Have never had an issue with any takeaway from here. Always tasty, hot food, delivered on time.

I get a take away from here almost every weekend. The food is excellent. The chicken is proper chicken unlike lots of other Chinese takeaway I have had !! I'm really fussy about food, and this place does it for me.Service is great, and the delivery service is really quick.I wouldn't go anywhere else now.The chicken curry and the hong kong sweet and sour are both yummy !!

I will never eat from here again 5 out of 6 people in my house all got food poisoning from eating from here when I contacted them I was offered the same meal free of charge as if I would eat from here again please don't order from there they have went down hill lately GO SOME WHERE ELSE

I use this take away quite often. The delivery is always quick. Food collected also very quick with really friendly helpful staff. I've always enjoyed he food. The snack boxes are great value for money and the munchies box is great.

They got a new chef fairly recently & he's amazing. Our favourite Chinese.
