During restaurant week - lovely fodo, decor and atmosphere.

First time at a bottomless brunch and an experience I won’t want to repeat. Food was rushed to us before all of our party was there. What was meant to be a gourmet fish finger sandwich was in essence a grey piece of battered mush. Nothing gourmet about it. Our first drinks took 40 minutes to arrive with no explanation as to the delay. When they did arrive the cocktails were in the tiniest glasses I have ever seen. To be fair a round of shots did arrive in way of an apology. The noise in the place was excruciating. The music so loud that all parties in there had to shout to be heard over the music. Couldn’t chat comfortably to people around me. All in all a very disappointing brunch, not bottomless at all, they ran out of Prosecco!

Pre booked a table and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely interior.Dissapointing that most of the items on the menu weren't available due to the menu being in the process of being changed.The food we had was very nice,we opted for the £32 deal which included 2 drinks wine or cocktails which were also very nice.We ordered a side of homemade stuffing for £5 extra however it was certainly not home made but never the less a tad expensive. The service was good and the manager very apologetic about the menu situation and offered to knock the service charge off but we decided to pay in full although a dissapointing visit I will certainly give it another go.

We arrived to be told we had been allocated a table which should have been kept for drinks only in my opinion as when you sat in the chairs the table was knee level, not good for eating from as you had to sit with your plate on your knee. Really spoilt the experience for my friend who had never been and will not return unfortunately. The guy who greeted us at the door did everything possible to help us with another table, he came back to us to say he had found us a table but was then quickly shot down by another member of staff who looked at us and said are you just a walk in and just wouldnt listen to me when I explained we had a reservation which had been paid for in advance and would rather not have to eat from a plate on our knee. To be honest if I hadnt already paid for the brunch I would have walked out, All this member of staff could say was we will give you free shots at the end, we didnt want free shots just wanted a table which was high enough to eat from.

I was really looking forward to our visit as I've not had the pleasure of a bottomless brunch before. If this is what it's all about, I think I'll pass. I'm not a drinker so my visit wasn't to 'get as much down my neck' it was to have some nice cocktails and brunch with friends. We arrived and as soon as we sat down, food started to arrive. Quick service you'd think, but not all the party had arrived and what did arrive was disappointing. I ordered the Gourmet Battered Cod finger with mushy peas, tartar sauce and chips. No peas, no tartar sauce. The filling was two small pieces of batter, hardly any cod at all and certainly not Gourmet. Cocktails were very limited and service was really slow. Very disappointed. Won't be returning in a hurry.

Came for a late seating bottomless brunch with my parents. Had heard about it from a friend so thought we’d try and must say the food and drinks were amazing. The decor was lovely (although quite a lot of flowers) including as good music from the dj. The drinks were well prepared and had a good variety. I loved the strawberry mojito! The staff were vigilant and DEFINITELY HARD WORKING! However our experience was somewhat tampered by the upsetting hen party that was in! I came on to leave a review but having just read theirs feel the need to say that this was far from reality. I work in hospitality and could obviously see the staff working hard to correct the situation. The woman complaining was very drunk and was screaming and swearing at many members of staff who had sent out several rounds shots to apologise. The waitress was not confrontational but the drunk woman could not be reasoned with and the waitress left the restaurant crying! This left the poor bartender and the severs trying hard to resolve situation themselves. We actually had a problem with not receiving a round and the bartender (who was busy enough) caught my eye line and rushed straight over and made our drinks immediately. So a massive shout out to Harry for being so professional and also holding his own against the awful hen party!!! Just want to remind everyone that if you talk to staff calmly and kindly they will almost definitely correct the situation as Harry did ☺️

Went for food and cocktails with friends. Missy's didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and cocktails went down a treat. Would definitely go back.

Stopped in on route to dinner for a quick cocktail. We were severed by Paige who was very friendly and knowledgeable on the drinks. Drinks were well presented and tasty. Didn't order food but the menu was nice! Decor is lovely.

Lovely place. Excellent food at an excellent price. Fab cocktails. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch offer with drinks. Go to Missys, you’ll love it.

Food was lovely and the service was excellent. We ate late at 830pm due to it being restaurant week. Be warned if you eat late the venue becomes more of a bar. Language from the table next to us was rather explicit. Would return but earlier in the evening.

A place high up on my list to visit and restaurant week was a great excuse to go. Great music and vibe. Nice staff and the food was really good. Will deffo go back, as enjoyed it very much.

Nice setting, there was plenty of staff when we first entered the restaurant. Service slumped when they started to go home as there was too many staff for the 3 occupied tables and the staff left on were busy chatting at the bar or were slow to react to things like offering sauces, clearing plates, offering desserts etc. I had the bang bang chicken drumsticks to start which were very nice and got me fired up for my main. Buttermilk chicken burger for my main came with a small quantity of basic frozen chips. I would have expected better chips from a more upmarket restaurant (has to ask for the salt shaker) - maybe skin ons or something crispier. The chicken burger was pretty tasty I just wish it was a bit bigger. Sticky Toffee Pudding, star of the show.. nice big slab of cake with silky sauce and ice cream. As this was restaurant week you can’t complain about the value for money (3 courses for £20) but this was an opportunity to gain revisits at full price. Unfortunately we won’t rush back as the service wasn’t great and the food wasn’t memorable enough.

Food was very nice, a little different from the norm. Venue lovely inside… very Instagramable..all staff friendly but some not so well trained. Overcharged massively on a simply priced menu. Caused a little chaos at the end of our meal. I’d go back but I’d keep a close eye on our bill this time

During Newcastle restaurant week, the restaurant was super busy and we fully understood the challenges the staff faced. Despite the busy atmosphere, the team went above and beyond to ensure that the food, drinks, and overall service were exceptional—truly deserving a 10/10 rating, which we greatly appreciated. The portion sizes were satisfying, and the cocktails were simply fantastic. Although we didn't catch the names of the staff, those who served us on Tuesday night were absolutely amazing! 😊

I would give 6 stars for the food and service if I could. Cocktails are pretty good too. So good we had 3 each.

Beautiful place, relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing, we particularly liked the black pudding bhaji they had a hit of spice. Empty plates for every course. Our waiter was great, just the right amount of attention without being over powering, lovely lad. Will definitely visit again and spread the word

Went to Missy's as part of NE1 restaurant week yesterday evening. All 4 of us loved it! ● The place is beautiful. I found myself just sitting looking around at all the cool and quirky decor. Even the music was good! ● The food was outstanding! All 4 of us had nothing but good things to say about our dishes. The salt & pepper calamari was the best I've ever had. Genuinely! ● Service was terrific. The servers were very attentive, very professional but also friendly and never pushy. They explained everything clearly. Can't sing their praises enough. Unfortunately, we were too busy enjoying ourselves and forgot to take any photos 🫢 We'll definitely be back! Thanks again for a great evening! - Kev.

We went here as part of Newcastle restaurant week and the food was excellent, the service was great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wife is going to be organising a return visit with her friends asap.

First timer & party of 7 of us. Was okay, not blown away. Sunday lunch. beef OK & veg a little over cooked for me & a little cold. Starters good portion size. Dessert of crumble was a bit watery but custard was nice. Would go again but not in a hurry to.

Incredible Sunday Dinner, cooked to perfection, rhubarb and apple crumble divine! cocktails so good and atmosphere and service amazing.

Perfect experience from entering the door! Service was fantastic, cocktails were to die for and the food was amazing. We had the lamb flatbread and salmon main courses and both went for the lime Panna Cotta for dessert. The decor is beautiful and the little touches like the diamanté taps in the bathroom make it extra special. It is quite loud but the DJ played fantastic music and it is a great atmosphere for drinks with friends. Can’t wait to return.

What a find yesterday when walking from the Quayside. From when we stepped in the door, to stepping out again it was excellent. Fantastic, friendly service, banter and amazing food, cocktails, wine and DJ music. The decor is gorgeous. It was buzzing. Thank you guys!🫶

Very nice food, not enough staff, 1 girl serving most of floor , drinks were very slow, waited along time in-between drinks, cocktails poor on basic menu as only proseco with fruit juices . Not sure if I'd return

Went for Sunday Dinner today and wow. The starter was incredible. So much flavour in the food yet perfectly balanced. Absolutely moreish, could be a main in itself. The pork Belly main. Quite possibly the best Sunday roast I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Portion size was decent, question for the chef... How is it possible to get so much flavour in vegetables? And sticky toffee pudding to finish off. Just an absolute delight. All in all probably one of the best meals I've had out, really well priced for god quality food. Definitely be returning

Celebrated my birthday here with a large group of friends - we were so looked after and food was lovely (we had the dinner meal deal which was great value!) Deco is beautiful and quirky. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to Matthew and team for being such great hosts and making my birthday extra special :)

First time here and the place looks modern and welcoming as soon as you walk through the day. Food was amazing as were the staff. There was 11 people on our table but nothing was an issue for them, everyone loved the place and had nothing but positive things to say.

Visited with my daughter, who was invited. Jambalaya was very good if you like spicy food. Service was excellent, only critisism is that there were a several items on the menu that weren't available.

Superb food, service and welcome by Tony and team. Food was very fresh, immaculately presented, and clearly put together by a talented kitchen. Beef was amazing, salmon starter was perfect, and dessert / wine recommendations on top. Rhubarb and Apple crumble was one of the best I've had. Will be back for sure 🙌

WHERE DO I START took my mam out for Mother’s Day, PROS- exceptional service from the staff, beautiful surroundings and place is spotless. Absolutely love the decor. Food was unreal, cooked perfectly, and great portion sizes, best Sunday dinner in a long time. CONS - first time I’ve seen cameras in the toilets, didn’t feel this was right or necessary and bathroom area is small so when sat on the toilet you don’t expect to look up and see a camera (even if it isn’t looking at you) felt like an invasion of privacy. Meal to remember, will be back, looking forward to trying other cocktails and meals on the menu, hoping management take feedback on board so next time big brother isn’t monitoring my toilet habits!

Didn't eat, but the cocktails were magical with enough alcohol to make them a pleasure to imbibe. Next time dinner, as the menu has some winners. Could make it a regular treat.

Ate here yesterday with 2 friends. Our first visit, but will definitely be returning. The 'deal' currently available is cracking! 2 courses and 2 drinks for £26! The menu is varied, with plenty of opportunity for choice suiting all tastes. The drink element of the deal was either wine, cocktails or spirits. Having made my selection, I wasn't disappointed. The meal was fresh, innovative (Japanese themed) and full of flavour. Also tried an espresso martini cocktail, followed by a wine. Martini was well presented and house wine delightfully light. Service was excellent. Waiter was knowledgeable and informative, attentive and friendly 👏 Well worth a visit.

Visited on Saturday afternoon for the 2 courses and 2 drinks special menu. Food was delicious, generous portions and very good quality ingredients. Cocktails were fantastic as well and not run of the mill. Our server Megan was very knowledgeable about the menu and couldn't do enough for us.

What a fabulous venue, everything was just perfect when 5 of us girlfriends visited for lunch. Staff were so friendly and attentive and knowledgable and we had a lovely table ready for us on arrival (prior booking online was quick and easy) we took advantage of the 2 courses and 2 drinks for £26. Food served( there was so many lovely choices)was all freshly cooked and beautifully presented and tasted amazing (compliments to the chef) fabulous cocktails and wine choices. Thank you, we all had a lovely time at Missy Millieu’s and will definitely be back.

First visit at Missy Milieus. Noticed the ambiance and the beautiful decor when walking in. Impressive cocktail menu and recommend the coconut and lavender mojito. Food and presentation was to a high standard. Service was outstanding and even though busy we didn't wait long between courses. I also recommend the winter spice bread and butter pudding I hope they do it all year round. Gave 4 stars as the belly pork was slightly dry but other than that everything was cooked to perfection. I will certainly return and have already recommended to people.

Quite disappointing...cocktails are nice..Food is mediocre..I had the mushroom starter which was bland and dry. Plant based burger was the smallest most basic meal out I've ever had. Wouldn't return for food.

Met friends here for pre Christmas lunch and what a hidden gem! The food, drinks, service and trendy atmosphere are all superb. Three of us had turkey Christmas dinner and one had the belly pork, followed by deserts; all washed down with Waddling Duck NZ sauvignon blanc. Small venue, dog friendly and decor amazing - will defo be back.

The service here was amazing as was the food. We opted for 3 courses and 3 drinks for £33 and each course was absolutely gorgeous and the cocktails were exceptional. We can't wait to go back and try out the breakfast menu!
