The best pizzas in the local area for sure! All Staff members are absolutely kind and helpful, in particular Giuseppe! They use fresh Italian ingredients, you can tell the difference straight away! They also have meal deals e.g. kids eat for free in certain days and times. Highly recommended it!!

During a recent visit to the Honor Oak area, we stumbled upon Miss Margherita - Sourdough Pizzeria, and it turned out to be a delightful find. I had the TROPEA pizza, and I must say, it's one of the better pizzas I've had in London for quite some time. The sourdough base was perfectly crispy yet chewy, providing the ideal foundation for the flavorful toppings. The combination of ingredients was well-balanced, making each bite a joy. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It's worth noting that the outside seating is on the path next to the road, which might not be ideal for everyone, but it’s a nice option if you enjoy some fresh air while dining. While the service was decent, it wasn't exceptional, but the quality of the pizza more than made up for it. If you find yourself in the area, Miss Margherita is definitely worth a visit. I would certainly recommend trying the TROPEA pizza or exploring their other offerings if you're a fan of good, authentic pizza.

The pizza was good quality and tasteful

Having ordered at least a dozen pizzas from miss margarita I am well placed to say that they have gone very down hill. Not only did 2 dips not arrive via deliveroo but the pizza ‘the Rex’ was about as bland as a pizza can get. Seemingly they think that placing 1 piece of cured meat can make up for an entirely bland offering. 1PIECE!! It is absolutely shocking that I paid £15 for this pizza when i really believe that my own children could have made better. Given the plethora of pizza restaurants available I swear never again to eat such a mediocre offering. And to think that I was genuinely looking forward to this all day. Shocking.

Really good and light pizzas. I would 100% change the burrata as it is not runny as it should be. Other than that, we’ll probably be back🫶🏼

Lovely food and service Will definitely go again

This is the best pizza I’ve had in London hands down. Quick and friendly service and excellent cocktails if you decide to eat in. Cant recommend it highly enough.

Great place in a quiet area. Food quality is just excellent. We had a double pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and it was so delicious.

My partner and I have always loved the pizza here over many years. Dropped star due to the acoustics in the space needing attention. The place attracts a lot of middle class noisy kids (I have no idea why parents think it’s ok for the their offspring to shriek in a restaurant) and it needs some noise buffering material to make it bearable.

Nice enough welcome. Nice pizzas. Really awful cocktails, perhaps the worst I’ve had. Young lad with red hair that looked like he’d rather be anywhere else on earth than serving us. No eye contact, very quiet voice, not a hint of a smile all evening. But again, the pizzas were good. Definitely wouldn’t go again considering the huge list of incredible food options in South London.

Went with some friends to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Casual dining at its best. Best sourdough pizza south London and our kids love the bunny kids pizzas! Anchoa was the best for me with extra chilli if you like anchovies. Prosecco on tap also which is a bonus. Would recommend.

Great pizza and service, I get the Billy OO with no walnuts and added pancetta and it's my favourite pizza! 2 for 1 on Tuesdays, amazing value

Nice pizzas and friendly staff, but meal was ruined by another customer shouting into their phone throughout our meal. I mentioned this to a staff member who said her supervisor was going to deal with it, but they didn't come before we left. So a nice place but staff need to deal with anti social customers

We’ve been looking for a good pizza place for a while and we think we’ve now found our go to with this place. Pizza’s are light and delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. You can easily imagine spending many an evening here. Hugely recommend

Great pizza, sourdough in particular was really good, reasonable prices, relaxed atmosphere.

Every night my wife asks what I want for dinner on the way home and every night i say pizza from mama dough. Rolling specials, craft beers, tasty wine. If you're a local you have been several thousand times. Sister restaurant up in Ladywell and Kirkdale available if you want a change. Now Miss Margherita. Very little changed.

Excellent pizza! They have a simple but very smart pizza selection but they also often make special pizzas so it never gets boring. Very nice space for families, and there are very nice deals for every day of the week. And they also work as a cafeteria in the morning, which is great.

It appears Miss Margherita functions more so as a deliveroo dispatching facility than a functional restaurant. The service was literally non-existent and we had to flag a member of staff down in order for them to take our order. Looking around this was the case for pretty much every table. You know it's bad when an order arrives at a table and the neighbouring diners cheer (as they themselves were still waiting on food). We then had to get up and ask if we could pay the bill as we left, and had to point out that two things had to be removed from our bill as they had never arrived. We would have flagged this to a member of staff if there were any of them around to catch. Is this the future of restaurants? Prioritising turnover of delivery orders over everything else? At Miss Margherita that appears to be the case.

Always great and occasionally kids eat for free! My son and I always enjoy it there. Really reasonably priced and lovely staff. Consistently good pizza 🍕

We had such an amazing experience at Miss Margherita for my sons 7th birthday. There were 11 children plus adults and Jake & the other staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. The food and drinks were also fantastic. Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you so much.

Decent enough. Really nothing special. The spicy meat pizza was the better of the two we had but slightly over cooked. No draught beer either and quite empty, not much atmosphere. Would give 3.5* but it doesn’t allow it.

A big fan of the pizzas here but my gosh I have just tried the Paninuzzo (Pizza Pocket) and it was amazing! The freshest ingredients and masterful melding of flavours. It's definitely made my lunchtime! Loved that they made sure to insulate the packaging for me so that the cheese stayed melty. Lovely place would highly recommend.

Really nice spot. Building is lovely and the inside is simple and charming. The staff were friendly and happy to help. If it takes tour fancy, try the "Dirty George" pizza... no heiststion in saying that it was one of the best pizza combinations I have had.

Pizzas are magnificent. We had an indecisive large group, but the staff dealt with our modifications of their pizzas well and with a smile. Defo recommend this place. Nice pale ale today.

Not a review about food but just some feedback. The people you turn away from using your toilets live in the area and are all potential customers. This neighbourhood generally doesn’t have a ‘no toilets for non paying customers ‘ policy. This isn’t Oxford street, it’s a small community of people who know each other, live, work and have businesses in the area. These types of policies create an exclusionary atmosphere that isn’t brockley / Honor Oak

Disappointing. It was a wet autumnal night which didn't help but I was put off by the 'build your own pizza' menu which didn't seem to include any 'a la carte' pizzas you could choose from - you had to build your own whatever. Sometimes you just want someone else to suggest things for you! The menu was overly complicated and dense. I don't understand the transition from Mama Dough and its admirably short menu of pizzas (which you could tweak, if desired), to Pizza Margharita and this confusing and overlong 'do it yourself' menu. Service was great and people nice and pizza itself OK when it came, but experience not what I remember or enjoyed from the MD days.

What a lovely discovery to come here for their "cafe" on a Wednesday lunchtime. Brilliant pizza "pockets" which are fresh and a have a good range of interesting ingredients (nduja cream for instance). The whole family, including the babies, loved them! Came with simple salads too (squash and feta was banging!). Friendly, caring service. All in all a great place for a light lunch.

A bit of a rip off to be honest. It cost the same in this very average pizzeria for a family of four than it cost in the superb local Indian Babur 24 hours earlier.

Disappointing the last few times I’ve been here, especially in comparison to what it used to be. The new tiramisu recipe is sad, used to be so silky and creamy but now its basically a grainy stodgy cake with a little cream on top. Pizza is fine, nothing special and uses low quality cheese that lets it down.

I expected a bit more from this place after hearing people rave about it. It was fine, but nothing to really write home about. The dough wasn't quite Neapolitan style, and the toppings were a bit over complicated and staff a bit absent. Might follow others here if they go — but I won't be leading the charge.

Simple pizzas done well - lovely sour dough base. Nice feel to the dining room and a couple of outdoor tables available. Incredibly friendly lady serving us really added to our evening. Good toppings on the menu though a bit too sparingly applied. Cocktails were pleasant but overpriced as fairly basic. Happy customers overall

The lemon sorbet is lovely, my nephew enjoyed his strawberry icecream. Customer service was excellent. They cater to those you have dairy intolerance.

Amedeo,Stafano and Renato are 3 amazing pizza chef.. they pizza is absolutely the best in London. Not a lot of pizza chef are making pizza with love.. In Mamadoudht in Honor Hoak park you can feel like in Italy. Very high quality, good service and amazing pizza

Service was super friendly and attentive, pizzas were ok - good to see gluten free base and also kids options were fun. Kids meal deal only works with some kids pizzas. The environment although a great potential was a let down. Seemed overpriced for what it is considering what some of its direct competitors are doing. If I could I would give a 3.5 stars.

This place has so much potential!!! It’s a beautiful building, but is tired and scruffy. There is no atmosphere at all which is not great when you’re paying to eat out. The pizzas were nice but average.

Mama Dough makes really delicious pizzas and I enjoyed dining in at this location. I first tried Mama Dough at their Brixton location, which is normally quite busy. I enjoy the more laid bake atmosphere of the Honor Oak location, which isn’t likely to be too busy around dinner time.

Slightly disappointed on my visit. It had a warmer feel to it. Looked shabby and it needs abit of a spruce up. Pizza was ok, the service was good.

Ordered takeaway pizza, great food and really friendly team

Mamma dough is up there in the top 3 of London pizzas. The quality and preparation of the dough makes it crisp and light with a semolina flour finish that makes the outer crust super crispy with a pillowy interior. Really good selection of staple winners like The Devil and John O’Goat with local specials on all the time. Ingredients are high quality, generous and used appropriately for Neopolitan. Tiramisu isn’t too shabby, neither is the house red. Service is great 85% of the time but can be a bit slow and forgetful.

Lovely handmade pizzas in an old half converted pub. Not sure if it's supposed to look unfinished?

Fabulous pizzas with lovely sourdough crust and delicious toppings!

I haven’t reviewed mamma dough for a while so thought I’d post a new one since they’ve become the go to pizza restaurant in South East London and are expanding more and more. In honour oak park and nearby there is a glut of pizza restaurants but mamma dough still stands out as the best in my opinion. The sour dough crust is still as good as ever and they are always trying out new specials to keep you interested. Keep up the good work mamma dough.

One of the best Italian style pizza's I have eaten in the UK. A think crispy base and not soggy. Staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Our favourite pizza bar far. (Sorry Franco!) The dough is always cooked well and the ingredients are good. We are long standing customers, going there pretty much from the off. The staff are always friendly and efficient. They now have an app, which is a god send as during busy times it can be a bit of a wait to get through to order on the phone. It's a nice place to eat in, the service was good everytime we ate in. Our little one loves the rabbit shaped kids pizza. For a long time it was the only place that dis kids pizzas to takeaway. We feel the quality has stayed the same throughout the expansion of the chain, unlike Franco Manca, which has gotten a bit lack-lustre and often too chewy in my opinion.

Ordered on the app, received confirmation order. Went to collect, they had no record of the order. Waited for pizzas to be cooked in cold, dark, rain. They did not realise until they gave me the pizzas that they had left one off the order. Waited again in cold, dark, rain for that pizza to be cooked. Suggested a partial refund may be in order out of goodwill but the member of staff just looked at me and did not respond. Ordered from this local business to support them in tough times. Felt unvalued as a customer. Terrible service. Won't be using you again.

We had not been for a long time, let alone covid related, and what a surprise. Not only was the food as good as we remembered but it was quick, very kid friendly early evening and great desserts too. Look forward to another visit

Really good food, and a good atmosphere when dining in, but poor service. We called an hour before to order pizzas, and asked for one without olives. When we arrived, we had to wait for 20 minutes and were given pizza with olives. The waitress who served us was unfriendly.

Great takeaway pizza in that trendy sourdough style. I like the unique 'specials' they do.
