Mint Leaf in Stirling

Mooi restaurant, goed eten, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Grote keuze uit mooie gerechten. Ligging is wat minder maat merk je binnen niets van.

Managed to squeeze in a last minute reservation and was glad for it. The restaurant was full and had many walk-ups during our stay. The menu has some very intriguing selections to augment a great choice of standard favourites. I chose from the Nepali offerings and received wonderfully rich and deeply flavoured food. Best meal of a 3-week trip! I would definitely recommend the food here as a treat for your palate.

The service was excellent and the venue felt comfortable. The food was incredibly tasty with the right balance of herbs and spices. I had the Chicken Kathmandu and my partner had the Chef Special. I’m on holiday up from the Black Country and wish I could uproot Mint Leaf and plant it down there.

On recent visit to Stirling 21st sep we visited on the Saturday night with young family, we had been once before and enjoyed so booked 6:30, food was excellent can be bit slow with service but well worth it, we went out in Sunday and enjoyed Saturday, went in and asked if we could get a a table and again meal was excellent, although weren't offered any popadons ? Their was a gentleman small with bold head and glasses working and doing most of work, working hard however very unfriendly to say the least, great food grumpy staff

Badges flags and emblems to tell us how good they are. The food was good, not excellent but going. Two things that were negative, one was the speed of service, start to finish we were there 4 hours. Secondly, the order taker seemed nervous as if he was being watched, which in turn gave him an immediacy that ordered on brash

Went there a few times and lunch menu great also. The food is fantastic and service constantly by polite staff. The prices are good also and you don't feel rushed. A pleasant experience dining there.

I came here on a Wednesday night just after 6, I was surprised how busy it was on a week night. There was a deal for 3 courses for £16.99 which was perfect, the service from our waitress was great, very attentive and polite. The chicken pakora was amazing. I will definitely be back to try out more of the dishes as there was lots to pick from.

Estuvimos en mint leaf en la ciudad de Stirling, Escocia un resto muy bien puesto en el que sirven comia nepali e india. Si bien no lo conociamos, los aromas al pasar por el frente del local nos hicieron volver sobre nuestros oasos e ingresar. Nos sorprendio un lugar muy bien ambientado, espacioso y acogedor. Los mozos fueron muy atentos. Sin estar encima de uno, estuvieron disponibles en todo momento para recomendarnos y explicarnos cualquier plato o bebida, siempre con una sonrisa. Luego, hablando con uno de ellos, nos enteramos que era uno de los dueños del local, asique nos conto parte de la historia, los premios que han obtenido y los origenes de las materias primas que utilizan. Los platos todos exquisitos, con aromas y sabores orientales tipicos. Vivimos una experiencia increible que sin dudas volveriamos a elegir. Salud!! 🍷🍷

Excellent. Beautifully served and well made. All this accomplished by a very good and welcoming service. We followed our host's recommendations and enjoyed every dish we tried.

Actually Nepalese cuisine underlies the Indian/Asian menu, and the dishes served here are are a welcome alternative to pedestrian palak paneers, and tikka masalas, although these are available and would no doubt be very good. The food is tasty and well-plated; they also have a good bar. The decor is stylish and place is bright and airy; the air is not redolent of spices. The manager himself served us and did a very fine job. In the face of stiff competition from several neighboring Indian restaurants within walking distance, this establishment stands out and above. It would hold its own in North America as well.

Excellent value lunch deal. Three price options all include a starter, main and coffee or ice cream. Chicken pakora starter was fresh, good size and proper bits of chicken. Chicken pathia for main was rich and delicious with buttery, fresh naan. Friendly staff and efficient service. Quite a few folk in for lunch so it was a nice atmosphere. Would happily go again.

We went to mint leaf last night for our Christmas dinner out, and wow. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very spacious and a chilled out environment. The staff were all so lovely and attentive. We were in a group of 14 and the service was amazing, from start to finish. All the food came out fresh at the same time and we all had 3 course meals. I have the garlic mushrooms for starter it’s hands down the most tasty starter I’ve ever had. Absolute perfection. If you like mushrooms please try this, you will not be disappointed. Then for main I had South Indian garlic chilli chicken, it was absolutely beautiful, I’m really funny about anxious when it comes to chicken but it was cooked to perfection, pure white no funny bits it was just beautiful, if you like spice have this! Rice, chips and nan bread! The mango chutney is to die for!! And I had ice cream for pudding which was lovely tasting. But the orange sorbet I tried was out of this world. It was an amazing night had by all, and between on 14 of us there was not one single complaint or thing that was wrong. Definitely my new favourite restaurant in Stirling. If your looking for a reasonable priced, amazing food & service visit mint leaf :)

Food was amazing, the starter of Garlic Mushrooms was the best I have ever tasted. Main was Chicken Tikka, again cooked to perfection. Had an Orange Sorbet for sweet, never tasted anything as good. Verdict from all of us, we ould not hesitate recommending this restaurant to friends and family. Will be visiting again very soon. Prices were very reasonable as well, service was spot on. All in all a great night out, highly recommended.

When I'm asked where I want to eat out in Stirling my first response is alway MInt Leaf. It kinda spoils me for any other restaurant as I like it here so much. Service is always spot on and the food is delicious and well presented. We had popadoms and chutney to start then shared an Onion Bhaji start. My partner had a delicious Lamb Biryani which she could hardly get through half of. My usual main of Rara Gosht was as good as always. Another superb meal in my favoutite Indian restaurant.
