Great food, we ordered for collection as a takeaway and didn’t sit in at the restaurant. The food was fantastic. Great value for money

Wrong food came out,tried to explain to the server but he didn't understand me ,then I heard him talking very good English to a man that came in

We took our very difficult friend for a meal . She like nearly raw food but very pleased and surprised by the food here. We had starters with a mixture of food , stand put dish was the wrapped prawns they were delicious. The rest of the food was amazing as well, we come here a lot and highly recommend this little gem

I have been going to Mings for the past 30+ years the food and service have always been excellent. I have now taken my grown up children there and they love it as much as I do. Well done Sue and Jimmy not many things stay the same xx

The staff are all so lovely and whether you collect a takeaway or visit the actual restaurant our visits have never been a disappointment. We would never use a different Chinese now as Ming of the avenue has set the bar so high that none of the others even compare. The food is amazing and I’ve never found the same quality at any other restaurant, it’s well worth going to collect, the price is also great and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Our whole family use this restaurant as we all thing the same!

Great set meal for 4 one of the best meals I’ve hade will be going back in the near future the starters were great the duck to die for and the main course great 3 courses for £20 can’t beat it

Have been coming for years and have noticed the last couple of times a gradual decline in the quality of the food. Had the driest, smallest portion of salt n pepper prawns today. The prawns were long and thin and incredibly dry. Lack the salt n pepper taste and no onions and chillies were served with them like usual. Maybe they have stopped stir frying them this way. Shame because they were fantastic! Beef in black bean was very thin and for the price not a great size. There was another dish a friend ordered (can’t remember the name). She said it was a completely different colour to usual and tasted different. She said it was ok but preferred the other colour. We did ask if it was a different chef but they said no. The staff are friendly and atmosphere was nice.

I visited this restaurant last night with family and the service was good, the manager was rude, but the food was not as described in the menu. Except for the noodles everything else was very sad. I retuned my pork as in the menu it said pork pieces instead I got pork bits, and the chilie beef was like shoe laces and rubber which they did not take off the bill cause we tasted it. Very disappointed, I would have rather been charged a bit more for quality food.

I've been coming here for 30 years. The menu, food, service and people have stayed pretty much the same in that time. There is a good reason for that. If somthing s that good and works why change it. Thank you Sue for yet another lovely evening with amazing food. We had a lovely evening

Haven’t been here for a while but it’s still one of the best Chinese Restaurants for miles! Set meals provide a good mix of dishes and are exceptionally good value. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Visited Ming for a celebratory meal. Decided on chinese food as one of us is vegetarian so thought there would be more.choice and was not disappointed. The lady serving us was extremely helpful, discussing our choices and how they could adapt things - even did an individual vegetarian mixed hor d'oeuvres. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and without too long a wait. Highly recommend

There are so many OK Chinese restaurants (and a few very poor ones). I live in Bexley and believed my local was the best.... until I tried Mings. The food is simply sensational. There are flavours I had forgotten existed. I am returning on a regular basis and trying different dishes and they are all great. On my latest trip, we had the sizzling lamb, stuffed mushrooms and sweet and sour fish. If I was not determined to try everything on their menu I would have exactly the same again. The service is as good as the food. I don't think the look of the place actually matches the wonderful food and service but it's OK.

We have been a customer since about1990 our son introduced us to Mings, we have been a customer since then Sue is a lovely lady very friendly since COVID we have been getting a takeaway, always have large crispy prawn with sweet and sour sauce, My daughter has now been a customer since lockdown, she also loves the food, we have tried other Chinese restaurants always go back to Mings of the Avenue.
