Mings Chinese Kitchen in Wolverhampton

Food is hit and miss, portion sizes are very small for the price. Staff have no people skills (as usual in these types of places), so don’t expect any issues to be rectified. They don’t even offer delivery so not sure how they justify the higher than average prices.

Friendly staff very substandard food - no taste in chill chicken in black bean , sweet and sour chicken balls - batter is very doughy- pancake rolls just have beanshoots - not like the old Mings of years gone by

Very popular takeaway. Sometimes difficult to order at peak periods as phone is engaged. Pleasant service and tasty and consistent food.

I order over the phone, when I get there it's all packed up ready to go. Staff very friendly, my husband and I have the 4 seasons, it's full of meat and prawns, with veg, very nice indeed.

Conveniently located and a good menu but I didn't enjoy the egg fried rice. I prefer the rice to be white and it was brown and to me It didn't taste so good. The prawns in batter were nice though.

Had duck curry that was very Rubery and wasn't nice at all . Only ate one piece and totally put me off. Ive eaten from here loads of times but this time has put me off.

Just had a takeaway haven't been Mings for approx 5 years on quality of the food we ordered I can only presume it has changed management we had 5 different meals and everyone was disappointed won't be going back again 😔

Recently moved to the area. Fancied a curry. It was the best curry we've had in years. Everything cooked fresh. Spring rolls absolutely amazing. Will definitely be using again

Very yummy and never had anything wrong, definitely reccomend however there was a minimum spend at one point meaning i had to pay cash but i’m not sure if that’s still there - lost my interest over this as i don’t carry cash ❌

Mings foods service great yes prices haves gones up understandable but the portions have gone smallerto ie on the king prawn currys rice was ok though mings address the issue

The best Chinese takeaway we have in the area. I have tried a few around Wolverhampton, but this one does the best food by far. Some of the prices are more than other takeaways, but the quality is worth the little bit extra. Highly recommended

Can't get the order right use a few times now and alway some things missing

Unfortunately the food was not nice. Veg spring rolls cold and tasteless, meat spring rolls burned and taste bad, chow main burned as well and tasteless. Would not recommend and we will not come back.

It was OK. Nothing much else to say chips were awful. Husband likes them with his prawn curry. Hopefully will be back to there usual best next time

Gorgeous vegan range. For people who love the taste of chicken & lamb but dislike the cruelty then their vegan range is lush, the best Chinese food I can honestly say iv tasted. One thing though is could you do a vegan alternative for battered chicken balls.

First time here. Food was nice. Needed more flavour to the green pepper and black bean sauce dish but good portions

One of the better Chinese take outs in Wolverhampton but the food is temperamental. The rice is not cooked fresh and you can tell. I will be sticking to my usual from now on.

Friendly staff, clean location, generous portions and quick serving. Not the best chisene food I ever tasted but cannot complain about because is just a matter of preferences.

I'm amazed Mings only has a 4.3 star rating. This is the best Chinese take out we have used. The food is always good and they use proper pieces of chicken not the perfectly square frozen type. Service is excellent. Well done Mings. Cantonese chicken is extremely good. Yum.

Never had a bad meal. Lots of great vegan options and very helpful with adapting dishes for us. Good portions for the price. It's 10 miles away but so worth it.

Meals sometimes excellent, other times not so good. Last night's unfortunately somewhat flavourless! Will try again as we have had some really good food from there previously.

I’ve had food from mings for 5years with no complaints, but will not eat from there again after meal they just gave me ,chicken curry even the dog turned her nose up at it . Stay away plenty more over priced Chinese takeaway in wolves (put 1star because they wouldn’t let me post unless I did, they do not deserve that)

Used to be great but the food yesterday was disgusting. The four seasons meat was hard and chewy and you could tell it was really old and the gravy in it was just like water with no seasoning. The chicken balls were dry and hard on the inside and the batter was thick and nasty. Even the chips were dry. We paid £17 for the above which was too expensive anyway and then to find the food was so poor was a disappointment. We normally go to Lai Do 2 on Penn Road but they are closed on Wednesdays so gave Mings a try again but that was a mistake which I will not repeat. Mings used to be great so what happened???

Best Chinese this side of Wolverhampton

been using mings for years and never had a problem but the last couple I've had it as tasted different and made me feel sick, the spring rolls and the prawn crackers were not the same as I usually get ,sadly I will be trying somewhere else ....

Delicious Chinese food, the dishes are exactly the same continuously, when I stick to a place its because of continuity of standard and here offers you just that, tasty dishes, quick service friendly staff.

The worst food I have ever tasted since I have been in Wolverhampton. It’s so tasteless and horrible, I can’t even eat it.

The reviews are overrated about this place, my food was fresh. But the stir fry was really greasy where my lips where shinny and the food did not have much flavour. This was my first time using this place as I went by reviews.

Best food by far..when you ask for it spicy and hot it's not just a few extra chillies.. they do cook it properly hot! I have more local places I can go but this Chinese is worth the extra drive :P

Was told 15 minutes, was closer to 30 (by which time the other food I'd ordered was getting cold) and then gave me the wrong food. In fairness they offered a discount on another order but couldn't/wouldn't deliver, relying on me to go to them. Never again.

Best takeaway I've known in ages! Great food! No other chinese takeway I've tried has ever beaten this one!

Last night for the first time we drove out to a recommended takeaway to pick up 2 x curries and chips and egg fried rice. We chose Mings Chinese Kitchen at Bradmore. Upon arriving there at 7pm on a Saturday night, we were surprised to find 12 people in front of us, some were couples though. Luckily we had phoned our order in beforehand. Thinking that Mings must be good due to the amount of people waiting, we were very disappointed in finding both our curries, Beef and Chicken were in a bland brown sauce that had no flavour, except an overpowering taste of Garlic, no peas and only a couple of thin slices of Onion in each container. Even worse were the chips.....NOT proper Chinese style fat chips, just white frozen jobs, some a bit chunky but the majority were stringy things....exactly the same as you get in a giant budget priced bag of frozen chips from Iceland... Very disappointed, 6/10 and won't be returning.....
