Ming chef Chinese takeaway in East Lindsey

Online order with a foodhub competitor was cancelled. not open! placed order for collection. was ready within 5 mins of arrival. was a birthday order so cheers ##oriental type flower!!## food was delicious... thoroughly recommend you ring Ming chef first.

Had Shredded Beef with Seaweed and it was dreadful. Beef was rock hard and fried in some evil tasting oil. The only positives are that the tiny portion didn’t take up much room in the bin and my wife took pity on me and cooked me a fillet steak.

The spring rolls were like frozen ones you buy for party's terrible taste and the spare ribs were just as bad !!! For the money a joke !!!!

Visited recently whilst staying in the area. I had king prawn Singapore style vermicelli and it was very tasty. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly too.

Lovely Chinese with a 5* hygiene rating , very busy, so you're best to call and order in advance as the wait time is often 25-30 mins. Cash only.

The food is nice and the staff were friendly despite being rushed off their feet. The portions are a little on the small side for prices but what you do get is tasty.

We just had a takeaway from here for the first time we had 4 meals 3 was a bit salty but eatable and the chicken curry was not cook and the meat looked boiled raw in the middle come on ming chef this is not acceptable my wife just spoke to you on the phone and you asked for picture so here it is hope this helps ppl to choose a good takeaway and not yours

Found this place as a search on Google maps as staying in mablethorpe. It's a little takeaway that looks lost and if you didn't look wouldn't recognize it. We entered and was greeted by a young lady bubbly and full of smiles, that's a good start, then took our order. A little wait and food ready. I must admit everything about the meal was brilliant, when we are in the area again will definitely call in,

Had a meal ordered last night, I was having problems with my phone, bur they phoned me right back and I placed my order, really friendly and helpful. Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice, chicken chow mein and chicken curry, all really tasty and very well cooked-Thank you!!

Really nice. We stayed nearby and thought we'd try it. Portions a good size and lovely beef chow mein. Very clean inside when we ordered. Friendly server.

Just had a very nice meal, house special fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, chips and prawn crackers, very tasty, fast service and reasonable prices, will be using again, highly recommended.

Only visiting the area for a few days but this is actually a nice take away,quick service,nice food and well priced 10p charge for a bag is a bit mean though but within there rights to this.

Haven't had a Chinese meal since moving from South to East so when I see that this Chinese place had opened thought best try it . Parking is only at front of shop so limited but was greater by happy to take your order Chinese lady service was prompt and responsible price fir what I ordered. The food was slightly over cooked but never the less very tasty so for me I would defo go back.

Very good service had the set meal for one, a bit of a weird combination chicken curry with fried rice, chicken balls, dry spare ribs and sweet and sour sauce, but everything was cooked to perfection and it tasted excellent, and In fact to much for one person, will definitely use again when in the area.

Few weeks ago,I Was supposed to have had the BEST CHINESE around MABLETHORPE (Sutton on Sea actually) Well This little shop outrates All others by 100%. Freshly cooked an absolutely Delicious food.

First and last time ordering from here £35 wasted food was bland and looks like some of it has been reheated

Good portions, cooked fresh, good pricing. It is about a 20 minute wait so I would suggest ordering by phone to then pick up. But if you're happy to wait then its not a concern.

We received a pleasant welcome from the assistant and ordered a set meal for two with extra rice for a third person. There was plenty of food for us all including prawn crackers and it was all well cooked and presented with no charge for the bag supplied to carry it all in. We would use this facility again.

Had a special chowmein it came in a small container and the meat was a little chicken and beef and lots of spam ,correct me if I'm wrong but I wasn't aware that cheap and cheerful spam can be advertised as pork . I was expecting something like a charsui pork which is the norm in a Chinese takeaway . It wasn't worth anymore than tipping in the bin ,I urge people not to use this place , I won't ever return and friends and family will be staying away. Cheap ingredients

First time ordering from here and the meal was delicious. We had chicken curry, egg fried rice and sweet n sour chicken balls these were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be ordering again. Very polite lady behind the counter and so clean inside hence the 5 star food hygiene rating.

We love this place the best chinese takeaway in the area. We have been at least five times. I always have chicken fried rice and a carton of curry, it has always been spot on. Hubby has tried a couple of different dishes and has enjoyed them all. Food hot and quick service.

Ordered set meal for 2 at £24.00 was very disappointed. The beef with green peppers was very tough. Also it states Prawn Crackers which we never got. Will stick with Tian Tian who are cheaper and better for the set meals.

Extremely good pork curry and portion size. Chicken Foo Yung , Chinese style omelette only had onion no bean shoots, but still good. Overall satisfied.

Just had a special set meal for 2 with chips as extra, absolutely delicious. Enjoyed it so much and would highly recommend this chinese take away.

Just tried this new Chinese takeout tonight and We was really pleased with all of our food.

First time using this establishment but its my last, even though I live just 5 minutes walk away. The food was ready at the time stated, but I was disappointed to be charged 10p for the bag the food came in. Thats a first. When I said I’d bring my own bag next time I was told it doesn’t work like that. The Singapore fried rice had absolutely no prawns in it and the peppers were stringy. The curry tasted quite sweet and not at all to my taste plus the rice was a bit claggy. The curry sauce portions were smaller in comparison to 3 other nearby chinese takeaways. Plus the coup de grace was no free prawn crackers. This place is not for us.

Tried for the 1st time tonight, very pleasant meal, we had hot and sour soup, lived up to its name and the curry was delicious and the chips were cooked perfectly will use again thanks guy's

Ordered from here tonight and it was brilliant. Well worth the money, food was great and fast service, bbq spare ribs was lovely so soft it just fell of the bone, all the food was lovely will defo be ordering from here again.

Omg... do not eat here!! My partner and i arrived late to our caravan having not eaten anything for lunch or dinner we ordered chicken chow mein and mushroom chow mein... our holiday was ruined from the time this food was ordered! We had sickness and diarrhoea to the point where my partner passed out from dehydration!! I would not eat here if u paid me 1 million pounds!! Horrendous!!

Was really surprised to see the poor reviews! This is our favourite Chinese when we are in the area, we always look forward to having a Lee On and find it a lot better value than our locals. We always order the same thing, but the portions are generous. We (2 adults) share a main from here, whereas back home we order 2 mains. The food has always been really tasty and moreish for us, and we like how we don't wake up in the night thirsty and headache-y from too much MSG! It doesn't look much from the outside, but it is clean, the staff are friendly, and they are accomadating if you need delivery to one of the local caravan sites, but most of all the food is delicious :)

i had kung po mixed vegetables with cashew nuts , lots of different veg,lots of nuts in a nice sauce.the rice was good and not greasy.good sized meals prompt service, with a phone call to let me know the meal was ready.<it was a take away> .
