Mines a Pasty Ltd in New Forest

Probably one of the best gluten free Pasty's I've ever had! The pastry was just gorgeous ans the filling just as tasty. It only took 20 mins to make as they don't have them ready made gluten free but It was 100% worth the wait. The owners were just lovely too! Will certainly be visiting again to try their other gf pasty flavours.

Absolutely delicious pasties, perfect for picking up before a long walk around the harbour in Lymington. We had the classic Cornish and the chicken, bacon and leek pasty - both amazing, so much so we bought several to take home and freeze, but at them for supper when we got home (yes, pasties for lunch and supper that day!).

Happy Days! They now cater for Gluten Intolerance and the GF pasties are delicious. We can now eat from there as a family

A friendly pasty shop on the high street in beautiful Lymington. I had the large traditional pasty and it was delicious. Full of filling and flavour, with a nice pastry, it certainly did not disappoint. I thought for the quality of the pasty it was very fairly priced. Service was friendly, and there is some seating both inside and outside if you wanted to sit and savour your pasty.

I have been visiting and thoroughly enjoying Mines a pasty for years, just can't beat their pasties. Really nice atmosphere, and the guys that work there are genuinely really friendly. Always delicious pasties, perfect pastry generously packed full of filling. Every visit to lymington is always a visit to the Mines a pasty shop :-)

Traditional pasty was really tasty as was the coffee. My sister had the apple and raspberry pasty and said it was lovely. Seating outside was a bonus on a lovely sunny day, staff were friendly and helpful too.

Shocking rude staff, when I asked if they had a dog bowl the lady fired an filthy angry look and asked if I was sat inside, I said not yet. She told me I had to order something before I could get some water for my very hot dog. I was just about to order but due to her lack to empathy and poor human interaction skills I walked out. Rude staff who lack desire to connect with humans and be kind. Will never come here and will pass onto friends and family to avoid this hell hole.

Mine's have probably some of the best pasties I've had. I tried the lamb and mint and it was scrummy to day the least. Quite flavourful, it had plenty of filling and was quite meaty. The pastry was crispy and was baked to perfection. My partner had the onion and leek which was equally delicious. Also, unlike other shops I've visited, Mine's serve sweet pasty. Their apple and raspberry variation was amazing- just wished they had custard or ice cream to go with it! Overall really friendly staff and the shop is well worth a visit. They also have outside tables which is great for those of us with dogs.

Introduced a friend from South Korea to the experience of a pasty on the the harbour front. Couldn’t have asked for better! Gorgeous pastry, absolutely packed with delicious fillings. They went down extremely well, even if we did have to dodge a divebombing chancer of a seagull trying to steal a bite…

Good quality traditional pasty and friendly service. They accept cash, unlike the establishment next door.

Used to come here when I was a kid. Disappointed today. Pastry wasn’t very warm. Coffee was terrible. Get an espresso machine. Deserve to be put out of business by the competitor next door.

The pasties smelt great, the Cicken, Leak and Ham, and the Lamb and mint tasted great.....and the Mocca was good too!

No competition. This is one of the best pasty makers outside of Devon and Cornwall.

I don't normally enjoy a Pasty, however these are multitudes better than your average one. Great pastry, not too tough, nice and flaky, well seasoned fillings.

Popped in Yesterday just after the Tractor run. Super standard pasty, good filling and hot. Good coffee and nice seating area outside. Well done Mine’s a Pasty.

Dropped in for a quick lunch on Christmas Eve. We had a pasty and drink each. The pasties were a-m-a-z-i-n-g and their coffee was very nice. The price was great value and the staff were helpful. We will definitely go again.

Love this place, I popped in today and even got frozen ones for when I cant get to tbe shop .. so worth the drive . A taste of Cornwall . Highly recommended

We had the best pasties ever at the weekend. I loved the sweet potato vegan one and my hubby loved his traditional one. We will be back.

Good pasties and friendly staff, they have a good choice including three vegetarian, one vegan and a sweet pasty. If your hungry it’s a worthwhile stop.

This is just a generic pasty shop the likes of which you find in every town and railway station across the country. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that special about it either. Surprised it gets a listing on TripAdvisor as a restaurant - will people next be listing Gregg's as a restaurant option on TripAdvisor?

I visited Mines a Pasty almost every day while working in the mobile repair shop in Lymington, and the staff always made me feel welcome. It was always love to stop by at lunchtime and have a catch up with them.The pasties themselves were always delicious, and always something I looked forward during the day.My only regret is that I ended up having to move away and don't get to visit anymore!Highly recommended, especially when it's cold!

Popped into Mines a Pasty on Friday, a miserable rainy day ion Lymington! We had a hot medium traditional pasty which was absolutely wonderful. I just can't understand how anyone could criticise this place, friendly service great hot food and at a very reasonable price.

We had 2 meal deals - mexican spicy pasties, raspberry pasty, coffee and a mocha. Savoury pasties were filling, not too spicy and warmed to perfection. The raspberry pasty was delicious cold. Very good customer service. Thank you

We walked past this place and couldn’t walk past without buying a pasty’ The menu choice is fantastic and it was so hard to choose.We went for lamb and mint pasties with apple and raspberry pasties for a sweet treat .Would recommend this to anyone!

I frequently visit this shop and am always surprised by the quality of the food. The pasties are just about the best in the area. If pasties aren't for you they do beautiful sausage rolls and apple and raspberry pastries. The best thing about my weekly visit on a Saturday is the high level of customer service delivered by the workers. The pretty blonde part timer in particular is always cheerful, polite and hardworking. Unfortunately they don't where name badges so I can't commend by name but I was particularly impressed by her levels of service.

Have spent a lot of time in Cornwall munching pasties, at £4.50 I was expecting better from a dedicated pasty shop. Instead my pasty was well below par. Disappointing.

Rather lush Apple and raspberry pasty with a Cappuccino that was really good. Friendly service as well. The pasty was so good I bought some to take home.

This place believes in working to their strengths. These Pasties are simply deelishus. Piping hot and perfectly cooked with plenty of choice. Nice friendly service too and a decent price. Highly recommended.

OMG the best pasties.We live 19 miles away but will drive all the way to get a pasty from this place.Lovely staff, great selection, always piping hot with devious ingredients . Can't go wrong with the traditional Cornish but i am trying all the others also. Was gutted in lockdown as they were closed. If you are visiting this beautiful little town, grab a pasty & walk 5 mins down to the quay to eat it.Thank you

Purchased a medium Pasty which cost £4, glad I didn't go small, or would have had to go back for another, that said, what I did get was very well filled equal amount of potato and good meat, the flavour a bit bland, was ok but lacked a bit of ooompf, needed more pepper possibly.

My husband thinks their pasties are the best! Loved the apple and raspberry pasty. Really delicious.

Had a large traditional lovely large chunks of meat nice level of sauce and well seasoned with pepper. Very nice would recommend a visit if in Lymington. The other items on the menu also looked good.

as regular visitors to Lymington we have bought pasties here many times. Recently the quality seems to have significantly nose dived. My 'large', £4.50, pasty today contained less than 6 tiny pieces of meat , ( I was looking for some to give to our dog!) and relied on pepper for flavour. The fillling in my husbands was not much better. Suffice to say we will no longer recommend this shop , and after today, you have lost our custom.

We had delicious pasty's for lunch; lamb & mint and chicken, leek & bacon. There's a little terrace at the side of the shop with a few tables. It was lovely to sit outside & eat in the sunshine. A lovely respite from walking & shopping.

We had a Chicken and Chorizo plus a regular Cornish Pasty. They were absolutely delicious and very good value especially when considering the meal deal option including hot drinks. The service was very good as well.

High street position and eat in or take away. Fabulous pastry round the best pasty to be had with excellent, large selection of fillings and different sizes. Don't go anywhere else you won't be disappointed. We never miss the opportunity to visit.

Very nice, great variety of savoury & sweet ,tasted three savoury & one sweet with my family . All liked & enjoyed.

We bought three pasties one lunchtime to takeaway. Staff were pleasant if not engaging. We managed to mix up two of the pasties - our fault - but it took three bites to work out which flavour was which - steak and stilton or chicken, bacon and leek -which I think sums up the experience. The pastries were warm and the pastry good texture but the fillings were a bit mediocre - certainly no distinctive pieces of meat or outstanding flavours. Nothing wrong with anything - just not as good as we might have hoped.

Popped in again this month for a pasty and thought I’d try a sausage roll as well absolutely fantastic, I ate the sausage roll cold a few hours later can even cold it was the best sausage roll I’ve ever had, also worth mentioning that fruit pasties are amazing hot or cold

Popped in for a Cornish pasty to eat later. Was piping hot and still nice and warm inside when we ate them an hour later. Nice mix of meat and vegetables , meat not chewy , vegetables not overcooked. Recommended

Overpriced and not very nice in my opinion too dry
