Lovely staff, great entertainment, decent priced drinks and lovely atmosphere. Really nice stained glass throughout the building as well Bingo and pub quiz weekly, charity functions, live music. Great pub

OMG ! The best pub in 5 square miles easily. I've personally been visiting this place for 47yrs and have witnessed all of the amazing transformations . Lewis and his team are fantastic and I love our visits. Cheers Wayne and Lorraine.

This is a lovely back street pub that is warm and welcoming, the staff provide pleasant smiley service. I am confident if you haven't visited before or certainly not for several years you will be pleasantly surprised.

Stayed in a hotel round the corner and called in after passing, staff and locals very welcoming, beer well looked after and decent prices. Sadly food is not served but still worth a visit for a few drink

Beautiful pub with professional staff working very hard to keep their customers happy and safe. Food tasting was absolutely lush, especially their home made pies!, Great team in kitchen and thoughtful in what the customer wants and quality is second to none. What a little gem this pub is, tucked away down a side street, this lovely pub is so welcoming Lewis and his team have a great repore with all the customer's old and new. I visited this with my husband and felt at home straight away so much so I wandered in on my own for a drink while my husband was working yesterday to find I was welcomed with open arms by Lewis and the locals this little gem is very female friendly. There isnt a speck of dust to be seen and is spotless even in the beautiful garden area, I would love to go in winter and sit around the log fire in the outside area. Thankyou to Lewis and his team, keep up the good work you doing a great job especially in these difficult times. I will see you again for sure. Jill Ward 🤩

Felt very safe. Handwash on entry, temperature taken. Show to table order. Brought to the table. Spacial distancing and one way system. So safe!

Really impressed with the Miners Arms- a lovely local pub which is always warm & clean. The bar staff are friendly and polite, we enjoy the Bingo & Quiz night which Lewis the landlord hosts on a Friday night!

This was a surprise for a small off the main road pub as it was superbly clean and comfortable. It had a warm friendly atmosphere and it was a place to recommend to all seeking a drink and a good sandwich. The.landlord obviously has great pride in his venue and his service was attentive and professional, For the beer drinker he keeps a good selection of beers. and lagers. . This was my first visit but it won't be last !

Well it is a long time since I have been in this pub, and what a surprise, looks like a lot of money has been spent,and it is a lovely pub, very clean, lovely beer garden. And was only £2.50 for a lovely cold pint of lager after our walking club dropped in after our walk, will definitely go again, thanks for making us welcome.

The Miners Arms is great. It's tucked away on a side street about 10 mins walk from Alfreton town centre. It's a proper booze. We went in Sunday afternoon and it was busy. Decor is lovely and it's worth a trip to the toilet just to see the door. We had 2 pints of miners ale and a packet of crisps for £3.80. Yes £3.80 - a quick drink turned into a few rounds.
