Milnathorp fish & chips chinese takeaway in Perth & Kinross

Ordered a kids sausage and a special chow mein for myself - this was great because my kid doesn't eat chinese so to have this in the one place is excellent!!! The chips were absolutely to die for however my chow mein was rather dry and a bit odd as it had bacon in it. The customer service was amazing and very friendly. Only popped in as we were camping nearby so only likely to be back if I'm in the area again (then I would pick a chippy).

Eat here quite regularly but yesterday the service I received was second to none. I ordered my 3 meals and popped to local shop for messages. I arrived back and the young lady serving chats as she usually does, very polite and friendly. I've currently a shoulder injury and she saw I was struggling with my bag and order so offered to carry my food to the house. I declined but was very grateful for the helpful offer. Fantastic service as always there. The food was great too, chow mein, curry and satay all cooked to perfection. They also do cracking chippy fair, cooked fresh. A gem of a takeaway.

After looking on trip advisor for somewhere to eat in Kinross this little food heaven popped up. Reading a previous review from someone who had bought food and went to the park to eat it my dinner decision had been made. We drove from kinross to here and ordered a special fish supper and a chicken curry with fried rice. Staff were amazing. So welcoming and so happy to see us. Once the food was ready we drove to the park in Kinross and like the previous reviewer we sat eating dinner looking out to loch leven. Absolutely stunning view and amazing food. Excellent value for money and delicious food. Cannot wait to return and of July.

It's a chippy with added Chinese food, i'm not a fan of Chinese but everyone else likes it so I can get chips. It's cash only so make sure you get some before visiting and don't use the cash point outside the shop as it charges you a fee.

Had an early evening drive out in this direction yesterday and decided to stop off here. This is a small takeaway offering the choice of traditional chip shop food or Chinese. I opted for a beef curry and fried rice. The kitchen area is open so you can see what is being prepared in the background. There were one or two orders in front of mine, but my wait wasn't long. The lady that served me was efficient and friendly. I asked for a fork and this wasn't a problem, as I intended eating fairly nearby. Drove to Kirkgate Park in Kinross and thoroughly enjoyed my meal at a picnic table overlooking Loch Leven. One of the best beef curries I've had in a long time. The beef was cooked just the way I like it. The portion was of a generous size. Would definitely recommend this takeaway, and would certainly return again when next in the area. Intending customers please note that they are closed on Mondays.

The friendly staff provide excellent Chinese food and (I like haggis) suppers. I usually phone in for Chinese but simply turn up for chippy tea! Worth my 6 mile drive.

I ordered a takeaway from here today and I was very happy with it! The portion was a hefty size and it also tasted really nice. The chips are nice and chunky, the rice was amazing and the curry was brilliant! Will definitely come back soon.

I just had a fish supper from here and it tasted very good. It was very well cooked the batter was brilliant and same with the fish. The chips were spectacular and with a good portion of them. And you get 2 pieces of fish aswell!. My friend had some egg fried rice and that was some of the best rice I tasted and same with the curry sauce. I Don't live near hear just out on a visit, but if I did live near it I would be visiting alot. I really enjoyed the rice and that's why in the picture it's nearly all gone!

Staying one night in nearby hotel and checked this place out on trip advisor. Phoned the order above and collected shortly after. Eat chinese a lot and the singapore curry was really good, only ordered it from reading a previous review. I think it closes early as it's a combined chip shop. Friendly service too and would definitely use again if in the area. thanks

Visited this takeaway on Monday night as it was close to hotel we were staying at and we didn't want restaurant meal again. All the food was cooked to order in our view for four different dishes of both Chinese and Chipshop food. All dishes were lovely although for us we found all the portions far too big (bit of a negative compliment) If we had gone again we would have bought half the amount and be satisfied. And it was no reflection on the price as i have paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere.

Great portion sizes, friendly staff and quick service. Everything is cooked fresh in open view. Both types of food are good and as a family we usually have a mix of Chinese and traditional 'chippy' meals.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area by miles. Spicier dishes are my favourite. Really good Singapore curry

I have been getting my monthly treat from here over the last 12 months and they haven't disappointed. Great people too

The best chop suey I have ever tasted .im from N Ireland and I can't wait till the weekend as I'm visiting my daughter ! Yummy

We have visited the Chinese / Chippy in Milnathort twice. Both times we had one fish supper between the two of us and more than enough to share. Fish very fresh and crispy batter. Chips freshly cooked and tasty. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic service always happy staff fresh chips I've been in a few times recently and always fresh I've had red pudding King rib burger and sweet and sour chicken lemon chicken chicken curry genuinely the best I've had in a long time and will be a regular customer highly recommended

I've had this 3 or 4 times and every time it's worse, chips are never cooked and always hard, nothing good about this place

This is a treat for us to have a carryout. We have differnt tastes one loves the big fish and chip supper and we mean big. The other goes for the black pudding.The portion of chips is also big so we have a fish supper and a single black pudding

A great experience every time I visit Milnathort. Staff are quick, efficient and pleasant all the time. Food is of a very good quality and cannot be faulted on quantity. An excellent meal to take home and enjoy at any time.

The food is very good. I've tried everything on their menu and am now starting again. Because they are also a fish and Chip takeaway, the chips are real chippy chips.The people that run the takeaway are a family and are very friendly and helpful. Excellent in all ways. And not too dear either. Normal rates.

Good portions and friendly service. The chips were freshly cut real potatoes not frozen so were delicious. The Chinese options very tasty.

Very good range of food. Very good quality and portions. Good value for money. We use it regularly.The report form asks me for a grading under the heading "romance". This is about the same as any other Chinese fish and chip shop in that respect!

The takeaway had been recommended to us but we only went last Friday and had a fish supper. Fantastic crispy batter and tastie chips. The only criticism would be no mushy peas! Highly recommend. Huge portion sizes.
