Millroy's Coffee Shop in Epsom and Ewell

Love Millroys, we go as a family eat in and ring and order collections. The staff are great, know what we are having before they take our order! Kids love it, apparently the best burgers ever!!

After a nice 3 mile walk to sweat off Saturday night excesses, decided to pop into Millroys in Ewell for some refreshment. A welcoming hello as we walked in and then presented with a menu and told to grab a seat and order will be taken from the table. I opted for a bacon baguette (choice of sandwich, roll or panini) whilst daughter went for a bowl of chips! Service was quick and the food steaming hot. Sauces on the table so no fiddling around with silly sachets - a bonus point in all areas. Value was superb, cheaper than a Costa for what we had!! Will be returning to sample the full english breakfast and all the trimmings in the VERY near future.

We found this lovely cafe by accident on our way to visit family. A first class breakfast with Bubble & Squeak with a great tasting coffee. A very clean and friendly place to eat. We will definitely be back for more!!

They do a delicious fry up and the service was quick, the staff were friendly aswell. Nothing wrong with Millroy's

Was run by Mr/ Millroy but sold 2 years ago as he found the place too demanding to run. New owners have done well and provide decent breakfasts, dinner and various snacks of good quality and fair prices. There is outside seating as well.

Milkshake was spilt all over my phone. Hair was in the food. Mixed up our orders. Very over priced. No seating for more then five people. Terrible overall

Milroy’s is a good place to go for a hearty breakfast. He’s very hard working (7 days a week) and cooks the perfect eggs. His staff are generally ok but can be hit and miss, often students on shifts, but there’s also some who I believe are family who are great and consistent. An excellent menu range, reasonably priced and free Wi-Fi.

GREAT espressos, lovely staff. Proper coffee😃. Perfect location on the corner in the village. There is even a deck to sit on.

On way to the Derby ordered 7 take away bacon sarnies Lovely all ready in 5 minutes sauces offered and proper bread 🍞 Mmmm

Millroys offer such a selection for a breakfast, lunch or quick snack. good traditional full english breakfast, served very quickly, and great prices. staff are eager to please and they will provide whatever combination of food you ask for. yummy

I visit this cafe regularly having tried all the other cafes in the area. This one is always, clean, good value and consistent. The photograph at the top of the page is the Full English and it is what i order- with an Espresso. Other reviews have mentioned weak coffee, ask for a proper coffee not instant. The service is usually swift, unless a group of 10 all walk in at once, there is only 1 cook after all. This place is a good cafe but not a Cafe Rouge type of place, and all the better for it, and my wallet.

It's ok, what can I say it's a cafe, It's ok if you want a fry up. The guy there is friendly enough, depends what waitress you get. Decent coffee. Can fill your belly on something I'm sure. If eggs Benedict is more your style go somewhere else. If you want a bacon butty and a decent coffee, it's clean and tidy. Toilet on premisses is clean. And service is swift!

As always this is a great place to meet. Have a coffee that doesn't Costa packet and enjoy freshly cooked food to order and fast service but without that fast food taste Really tasty.

Friendly staff and always prompt service. The usual cafe food. Well priced. Best in Ewell. Always happy to return.

We went to have breakfast and was met with a moody, greasy haired lady that obviously wasn't aware of customer service. We ordered a drink while we were looking through the menu. The inside smelt so badly of grease that you wouldn't want to eat inside, I think everything must have been deep fried. After asking a couple of question, only to be told that none of the pictures on the menu are of their meals, we decided not to order and went to a lovely little place down the road. We could not have made a better choice and feel free to ask what the other place is!

Vamos cada vez que están en la zona. Hoy en día, ya que no teníamos el desayuno en casa fuimos para el desayuno no 2. Dos de bacon, huevos, salchichas de todo además de granos de café tostado. Gran fresco y servidos con rapidez y siempre es bienvenida y super relación calidad-precio.

Realmente decepcionado con su café. Anuncian café marca fuera pero me atendio un instante Nescafé en su lugar - ¡qué asco! No volveremos. Especialmente cuando uno de ellos es ligeramente lavatsa haciendo café o puedo conseguir Café Costa en el tescos esso.

Have visited a couple of times with friends, and so good to be able to choose, calorie counted lunches, which are also very delicious

At the top of the hill in Ewell Village. My girlfriend and I frequent Milroy's when we're in town. One can get a full English complete with eggs, beans, sausages, and chips. On a budget? Get an egg and cheese on a baguette with a good cup of tea for around five quid. Lovely view of the High Street as well.

Simple menu but cater for most if not all the common options one would expect from a local diner. The Full English Breakfast set deal is value for money. Tea was a bit weak (diluted too much perhaps). Quality (freshness) of food could be improved. Waiting staff are friendly. I visited on a Saturday but there were still sufficient seating. Didn't feel packed at all.

Love this place. My GF and I stop here when we're in town for tea and egg and cheese on a baguette. Friendly family-run place with a view of the High Street.

Food was very nice more than enough could not finish it all Waitress say me getting tablets out and came over without me asking to see if I wanted some water .She was very thoughtful the cafe filled up really quick children were welcome .

They seem to specialise in simple, food, good portions and very reasonable prices. Don't expect high cuisine. Tea is served in mugs with the tea bag left in.Service is very pleasant but the place has no atmosphere. It is ideal for those who want to stoke up on food and are in a hurry.This establishment is in complete contrast to 'All Things Nice' across the road and is the better for it as it gives Ewell residents more of a choice.

Popped in for a late lunch we had mushrooms on toast and chicken Mayo sandwich both very good and plenty of mushrooms and chicken if I had a grip it would be more Mayo. The coffee latte was very reasonable under £2 shop across road was £2.20 and sandwich's were over£4 in there. Millroys was clean and efficient service

I'm a bit surprised at some of the reviews on here. I came here with my partner on a Monday morning for breakfast, about 10.30We both had the set breakfast with tea and toast and the service was excellent. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend and I would come again

As a previous reviewer said earlier this year , the service in Millroys towards the end of its former trading life in 2013 was horrendously slow and the staff far from welcoming which is presumably why it stopped trading but after being closed for many months the cafe has reopened under new management and things are now very well organised. The café serves breakfasts ( all day long if you want them), light lunches and snacks etc. plus a good selection of hot drinks and is open from 7 am until 5pm daily (plus shorter hours on Sundays). The café is clean and welcoming with well organised tables, newspapers to read and the option to eat in or outside but even more importantly the new staff are efficient and pleasant.. True it is not haute cuisine, but that is not its target market and I hope that the new owners do well. My only worry is that perhaps it would have been better to rebrand the café before re-opening because keeping the same name for the café may mean that some local people may be put off by memories of the slow and poor service at the "old" Millroys and not want to give the place another try but the location in Ewell Village is very handy for passing trade from students on their way to the nearby technical college so hopefully this will not be an issue

Really slow service, staff very unpleasant and rude - would not recommend and in fact I believe it has now closed down

been few times for breakfast and every time the food is nice and tasty, nice fresh bread, good selection of soft drinks and good coffee, will be back for more.
