I have autism and have always avoided subway because I can’t handle the decision making. Hearing from friends that they have a menu now gave me the confidence to try. I ordered a sandwich but when it came to the salad, the server asked what I wanted. When I pointed at the menu I and said I want that one, she said she doesn’t know what’s on it and that I should just choose. I just about managed to avoid freaking out and crying until I got back to my car. My wife tried her best to pick some salad options for me, but it wasn’t the sandwich I ordered. The woman serving had no sympathy and made no attempt to help or make the process easier for me when I made it clear I would not be able to choose. I shows that my friends were wrong, and Subway remains a hostile environment to neurodivergent customers.

Came for drinks with my friends last week and were served by the lovely James at the bar. He was very friendly, chatty and made a great aperol spritz! I’d definitely recommend this pub to anyone and will be visiting again soon! :)
