We kept driving past this place on the way to our accommodation. On our last night we decided to give it a try. We did ring beforehand to ask if we needed to book and as they were quite busy that evening already, a staff member said it would be best to book. My partner had a pizza and I had the Welsh lamb burger with fries. The food was delicious and a good portion size. We found the desserts a bit pricey, £7.95, but it was the nicest cheesecake we have had so was worth it. Staff were very friendly and service was fairly quick, despite it being busy. If we are staying in Tywyn again, we will definitely go back here.

After some mix up we were eventually sat at a table downstairs , not easy complaining as you feel tough on staff, but the waitress must have relayed the concerns to Management. We have to say customer service was exceptional. Head chef Danny personally came and apologised, spoke to us and could not have done anymore, what a credit to you! Also a mention to the waitress who also apologised on several occasions Food was superb , large portions and really tasty, we will certainly be visiting again. Thank you for your kindness showed , it’s a real pleasure to see a business that prides itself on its service and reputation.

We stumbled in unplanned with our dog to shelter from the torrential rain and ended up staying for lunch. The staff were super accommodating of the dog giving him a water bowl and a treat. The service was swift, food was tasty (we had fish finger and steak and blue cheese ciabattas with soup and spiced fries). All of the staff were friendly but not overbearing creating a lovely warm atmosphere too. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area!

We were in Tywyn while staying in the area, and Millie & Sid's was recommended in the guidebooks at our accommodation. It started raining so we thought we'd pop in, probably for lunch. Unfortunately, there were only seats upstairs, and food wasn't served upstairs on that particular day. A shame, as we were all peckish! We still had drinks: a mixture of hot drinks and a couple of beers. Service was quite slow (possibly about a 20 minute wait for hot drinks) but it was a nice place to be - a pleasant atmosphere and, luckily, dog friendly throughout

Great night out, lovely ambience, excellent service...couldn't fault it. We booked early and tried a few dishes, none of which we could fault. Waiter was attentative but not overbearing, food arrived on point try the tempura soft shell crab or scallops, you won't be disappointed. Cocktails were £8.50 and were lovely. Very pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived -we will be back. Thank you

Don't call between 4&5 ! We were made to feel as though we were an inconvenience. Were told they serve coffee until 4pm and Tapas from 5pm. What do they do from 4 until 5?! There was only one other couple there, and they only reluctantly served us although they were clearly open.

Visited for an evening meal after being in several times during the day for drinks and snacks. Pizzas were excellent, staff were very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be back and recommending to others.

Fabulous place. Great food, lovely staff (in the forms of June and Rachel) who were a pleasure to deal with, and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Thanks from the Lanes party of 9 who had a delicious and value for money breakfast with you today. Keep up the good work xx

Wow what a fabulous cafe/ restaurant. We all said what we each had whether fish pie, quiche or lemon chicken was the best we’d ever eaten. Amazing combo of French and Welsh cuisine served and made by great staff who love what they do in a beautiful building.

My family and I popped in for lunch and had the best food of our trip. We had the fish pie, fish finger sandwich, quiche and soup of the day and a meal off the specials. All were excellent but the quiche (bacon and leek), fish finger sandwhich and fish pie were the best we’d ever tasted! There’s great personal touches with homemade slaw and seasoned chips. We will absolutely be back!

We stopped here for breakfast twice, having been disappointed by the service at another establishment. The breakfast rolls are tasty, especially the sausages, and both the tea and coffee were good. Fair prices and very friendly service. Outdoor seating where you can eat your food whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Llanberis and its surroundings. Also does delicious cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Highly recommended.

I'm actually gutted to be writing this review as we thought we had found a good haunt when we first tried last week. 2 adults & 2 children all had a lovely lunch time meal the previous week so we rebooked for the 2 adults for an evening meal the following weekend. The starter was lovely for both of us but we both ordered fillet steak for our main and I don't know what meat it was but it certainly wasn't a beef steak. It didn't look like one, taste like one or even cut like one. I was genuinely gutted as it has put me off going back again because I feel like it's just rude to expect somebody not to notice and left feeling like we've been totally ripped off. You don't order a fillet steak if you don't know exactly what to expect on your plate so the audacity to think you can pull that off is unbelievable. I can't complain about the service, both times it has been spot on, lovely women but unfortunately we won't be returning after been served that.

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth
