Great service! Staff polite throughout from the bar staff to people serving us food. We was served by a young lady named Phoebe, very attentive and made sure everything was okay! Food was also great 👍🏻

We enjoyed our food but the service was mixed. The junior members of staff were actually the best but our lead server had very little customer service and the manager seemed absent. They both seemed to be having an argument as we left so maybe that explains it. We also realized when we got home we'd been overcharged and not received the 3 course Sunday offer for 34.95 and had been charged in full. My fault for not bringing it up at the time or keeping the receipt. It's put us off going to this particular Miller and Carter but would try others as food was good and would have been good value with the offer had we received it

Piers was far an away the best waiter we have experienced in an age and surprisingly for a chain the food was fabulous

Very disappointing. Seated at 7.30 and were eventually able to order drinks 45 minutes later, three of the four ordered arrived 10 minutes later and the fourth a full 20 minutes later after a reminder given. We were repeatedly advised the chefs were behind as they were struggling with the new menu, ie a steakhouse specialising in steak now serving steak! Yes it was a Saturday night and fairly busy but there were ample staff working, it was just that most seemed to be clueless as to their role. After our starters eventually arrived I interrupted half a dozen of them having a chin wag to enquire if I could get a spoon to have a taste of my soup, 'here you go pal' as a spoon was retrieved from a draw and handed to me. There was over an hour between finishing starters and the mains arrival, The service is appalling with little or no direction given to the largely very young staff which is a real shame as the food is very tasty. At these prices they must do better, guests do not expect to have the table next to them spray sanitised whilst they're eating and then have the cleaning equipment left on the table. Our waitress, I'm sure, couldn't care less whether we had a pleasant experience or not, rude, clueless and unconcerned. Will not be revisiting.

Fantastic from start to finish! We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff who showed us to our table. Piers our server greeted us withing a minute of sitting down and took our first drinks order. The food was fantastic, starters were spot on and came promptly, our mains were amazing and hit the spot. Piers checked in on us throughout our visit and was attentive.

For a special occasion, we visited Miller & Carter and were not disappointed. The welcome was warm and genuine and our server, Katie, looked after us beautifully. The food was well portioned and perfectly cooked. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to the next time.

We went for my daughters birthday. We have visited before and loved it. Today was very disappointing. Both steaks were not good. 1 was overcooked. The other steak and the food for 2 other guests had been kept under a heater for some time, food wasn't very warm and was rubbery. We didn't complain as we weren't prepared to wait for food to be re cooked. We had waited well over an hour, just for our main course. We didn't have time to re wait. Yes, we were told food was taking a little longer to come out due to a menu change. This wasn't an issue. The issue was that food had been kept warm, chips probably re fried, and we didn't want to wait again. Very poor for the cost of food and past experience. The coffee was good, it was hot when I received it. Staff seemed stressed, but I'm not sure if they had an evening with complaints.

We visited a week ago, we had the 2 course lunch which was terrific value, I had the rump steak, onion loaf, tomato, chips and peppercorn sauce, John had the Tomahawk pork with green beans, new potatoes, apple puree and a red wine sauce. To follow we both had a mini chocolate brownie and a cappuccino. We were served by Teri who is very efficient and has a lovely friendly personality. It's our go to place for a delicious lunch without breaking the bank. Well done, we will be back next week.

We ordered chicken salad for my wife and I ordered beef salad we was disappointed from from the start my wife asked for some vinegar x and the waiter fetch vinegar. She wanted this just to try and make some tast to it as it was just full of leaves not worth £50

Really lovely food, top quality but it isn't the cheapest, also watch for tip prompts can opt out or in when paying, the service is great tho but we're not in America. Great but expensive.

Steak was lovely but the lettuce bowl had creepy crawlies in and staff wasnt interested. Said well we wash it everyday. Mmmm and still charged me full price.

Visited for a birthday. Food was excellent and the service was great. Teri looked after us and made sure our little boy had a great birthday tea- he said he would give 10 stars if he could!

The food was absolutely gorgeous, had the 50 day 8oz sirloin steak and it melted in your mouth. Also definitely recommend the chipotle chicken bites too. Our server piers made the meal even better with his lovely service!

Lovely food and fantastic service from Katie, would highly recommend,👌🏼. Only downfall was a lady customer sat within our area who was laughing extremely loud whilst snorting like a pig, pretty off putting when trying to eat food but no reflection on the restaurant, staff or food.

Quality food however forgetting to add the burger bun top on a burger is not a great start… simple mistake and tried to speak to someone at the restaurant but had to leave a voicemail. No one answered or replied so ate the food unfinished. TBH the food quality is just about worth the cost/wait but not fulfilling the basic requirements of a burger is a major fail. As a local restaurant it won’t stop us dining there but may stop us ordering a delivery!

I had a 10oz Fillet Mignon and although the staek was cooked well unfortunately it was cold so cold the butter on top wouldnt melt even when i spread it around the steak. So was my sauce and fried onion. I also had a side of chorizo which was and also cold chips. My partners Food was red hot so can only assume they wasn't cooked at the same time. Nat what you want when you pay £50 for your meal.

I absolutely love Miller and Carter... we've been many times and the food and services have always been total perfection! The steak was done perfectly and the sauces were all so exquisite and unique. Party of 4. 3 steak meals, 1 cod. Steak meals and sides were all served cold - twice. My cod meal was very good but due to steaks going back to the kitchen, I ended up eating on my own! The duty manager dealt with our complaints in a professional manner, despite dealing with a number of complaints from other tables.

Very dusty we was sat at the top in the mezzanine and even the banister near the stairs was dusty. Had to send back my meal as cold. Took a long time to come.
