Always great food and speedy service. Katie always looks after us when we're in with friends or family and we always request her as our waitress. Me & hubby always get the butchers block (from Katie's recommendation) and it's always cooked exactly how we want it!

Took the wife out to Miller and Carter as it’s our go to place to eat as both of us love steaks. Always had a good meal there but this time it just seemed to be that little bit extra. Had a lovely waitress Katie who took the order and actually had a chat with us which was lovely rather than just take our order and go. Really lovely ribeye steaks cooked exactly how we wanted it and went down a treat with the house red. Thanks for a lovely time.

We came for a family Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint! The food was top notch, absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend the sunday lunch sharing board! Our server Piers absolutely made the visit, he was very good with our little girl and made her feel happy and comfortable, even letting her press on the tablet what she wanted to order. He was very knowledgeable aswell and was able to make lots of recommendations about the menu and how the meats might be best served. We will definitely return in the near future!

Served by Piers who was fantastic. Walked us through the menu and gave a lot more information about how steaks should be cooked and advised accordingly as me and my partner like slightly different. Fantastic waitor

Last minute decision to call for food on way from shopping in York, from the online booking last minute to the service and the food, cannot fault our dining experience, out server Piers couldn’t do enough.

Our waiter Piers was extremely attentive. One of our steaks was not how we asked for it cooked and immediately he rectified the problem. He went above and beyond to serve our drinks outside, taking us through the accessible exit without being prompted as he noticed my injury. Great service, good food and all around lovely evening.

Every time we visit we are greeted with warmth and careful consideration given to my mum who requires wheelchair access. The staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating in every way. Teri in particular is kind, thoughtful and efficient. She demonstrates customer service second to none. The food is delicious and is always well cooked to the highest standard, with an interesting varied menu to suit all tastes. Would highly recommend.
