We visited Miller & Carter in Muswell Hill. Our waitress Elena was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely kind and was very attentive to us. The food came quickly and was absolutely lovely and the plates were cleared away quickly too. All in all we had a wonderful time and Elena couldn’t have been a more welcoming waitress. Thank you to all the staff at Miller & Carter!!

We were served by Barish and he was so friendly and humorous; he made us feel welcomed and comfortable the whole time. The steak was delicious and the sea bass was tasty. Only thing I would change is that we were seated by the kitchen fan which made the floor vibrate. Would definitely come again.

Extraordinarily present servers, Diogo and Andrea. Looked very well after us and had great knowledge of every menu item. All food fantastic and wine selection brilliant too.

It is a preferred steak restaurant but the lunch menu is not satisfying.

Would definitely recommend food was lovely atmosphere nice and sevice was spot on would highly recommend trying the king prawns as starter very tasty and u get at least 5 big prawns,all food was very tasty and not overly priced. We both had a starter each and stake meals with alcohol drinks and was just over £90 very reasonable.

We came to Miller & Carter Muswell Hill for a birthday meal, and it was fantastic. Our waiter, Barash, introduced himself and was really great throughout the evening. He explained the menu clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and Barash’s friendly service made it even better. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

Today is our first visit to at Miller & Carter, and we had the pleasure to have Miglena serving our table making the place a top notch steak house. Delicious steak, lamb rump and cod fish. It was full house tonight, we were lucky to get seats on Saturday night!

Lovely place, steak was underwhelming as slightly over cooked and the sauce had a skin on it, tomato had stem still attached. Had very high hopes but thought it was okay.

I attended here with my wife and another couple on Friday evening. From the outside the grand church looked great but the lights were off and we thought it was closed. The inside is aesthetically really impressive. Our servers were really friendly and informative. I think overall the food was good but not great. The starters of prawn cocktail and King prawns and scallop were each quite nice but not anything special. I think my scallop was a little bit undercooked and it was paired with this very strange apple purée. We had château briand which was good and cooked to medium rare as requested. The wedge dressing thing as a so-called palate cleanser I just didn’t really get the idea of. It was too large of a portion and served in a wooden bawl making it hard to eat. The bill was quite a lot £250 between 4 of us, but we did have two bottles of Prosecco. Overall, I would try Miller and Carter again I think but I’m not necessarily sure, it was better than any other steakhouse

Six of us visited Thursday lunchtime for a family celebration. Mandy did a great job looking after all our requirements. Everyone enjoyed the food and the ambience at Hagley Road . Well done to Mandy and the team.

Andreea was very attentive and absolutely amazing, she did her upmost to look after me and my wife. I would highly recommend this place although the Crème Brûlée could have been a little bigger but I did enjoy my banoffee pie and the steaks were beautiful as always.

Lovely date night dinner. Food was delicious and service was attentive. Atmosphere in the old church was fantastic. Only negative was our waiter didn't wait for us to finish our starter before bringing out our steaks, and literally had me pick up my salad for her to put down my steak. Then told me I could finish my salad if I want to as I was sitting there holding it.... It was awkward and just off the mark of everything else. Then my husband's plate was cleared before I finished mine (and I'm not a slow eater mind you) so again the service was a bit off. Otherwise it was a fantastic meal.

Miller and Carter, you can't really go wrong... myself and my partner arrived on a Sunday afternoon, we didn't have a booking, but thankfully we're able to get a table and we're seated quite promptly. The service was good, we did have to wait a while between courses for someone to ask us if we wanted our next course however. I enjoyed the steak I ordered and my partner ordered salmon. We ordered of the preset menu which was £37.50 per person, I'd say this is a bargain as if you order off of the main menu you will be spending much more. In terms of dessert I was quite disappointed with mine, I ordered an apple pie, I got an apple pie, but it felt and tasted like it had been heated up in the microwave. I know these aren't freshly made, but I prefer my pies to be piping hot (which mine wasn't) and I like it to have a bit of a crunch, I felt this was just soft the whole way through. It didn't make me really enjoy it, assuming they are warmed in the microwave maybe change to the oven if this is the case. Overall I would recommend Miller and Carter, you know what you are getting, this is a very nice and very spacious venue, you won't feel cramped or worried that someone will overhear your conversations. Order off the set menu if you want to save a few pounds, and maybe lower your expectations when it comes to the dessert.

The food was amazing, we ordered from the 3 course menu, the starters were quite generous, for the mains, we went for the Chateaubriand, which was cooked to perfection, by the time we ordered dessert we were already full, but the desserts looked so nice, we kept going, and very glad we did. The food was truly amazing, and the converted Old Church was stunningly restored, the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

Miglena was our waitress for the night and she was extremely welcoming and friendly from the start. She gave us as much time as we needed to order and checked up on us to make sure everything we got was fine and of good standard. The inside of the building is really nice as well, lots of ambient lighting, plenty of seats to choose from both downstairs and upstairs. Overall, was a really great experience here and would definitely recommend it.

5 stars all round. Located inside an old church.. stunning atmosphere, great service by Andrea, excellent steak 👌

Lovely place and atmosphere, parking is not great. A few spaces which you pay for through Ring go app up to 18:30 max stay 2 hours. After 6 seems a free-for-all. Place looks like an old church, but inside intimate and nicely decorated in a low lighting and mahogany style which looks nice in the setting. Salad is pretty much 1/4 of a lettice. But you come here for the steak don't you 😂. Sometimes the staff don't seem to listen to you, you often find you repeating yourself and still getting something you did not want like ice in your drink. Chips where prefectly done, chunky or fries are hot and crispy. Overal it was ok, but definite room for improvement at this branch.

I really enjoyed lunch yesterday at Miller & Carter. Andrea served our food and she was extremely friendly and polite. And she showed that she is fluent in Spanish among other languages! I had the chicken burger with salad which was utterly delicious. The creme brulee was also delicious. I will definitely come back again soon.
