Once again a wonderful meal. We were served by Emmalina on this occasion who couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to come again

Had a fantastic lunch with Emmalina a wonderful waitress, it was my partners birthday. She was very attentive and helpful. She even produced a lovely surprise at the end of the meal. Will definitely be back.

We went for lunch at this restaurant. We were met by very friendly staff and seated quickly . We were served by Kate who was very pleasant and attentive. She made us feel very welcome. The food was fresh , good portions and well presented . I had the pork tomahawk which was moist and tender. I would definitely come back to this restaurant as didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed my lunch

An awful lunch with the family. The restaurant did not have enough waiting staff and it was not busy. The food when it finally arrived was stone cold. The steak, which is supposedly this restaurant's speciality, was poor quality and full of gristle. The prices are ludicrous for the quality of service and food. We did complain and never once did "sorry" escape from anyone's lips. Nor did anyone try to do anything to improve the experience for us. Nothing. We will never go there again.

A very good evening out celebrating our son . Food and drinks very good . Chef deserve all the applause, for the cooking, we din have fish, beef and chicken , plus deserts . The only negative are toilets not very clean very smelly. We din not take any pictures, but we will definitely come back for the food.

Very good food and steaks done exactly how we asked and Andrea was very good at looking after us and the main part of the restaurant was clean and presentable. I had the lobster tail with my steak and it was cooked differently to other restaurants in chain and I have to say a lot better than the others. Toilets not very clean and hand dryer was broken but what was really rubbish was the car park was full and the 2 disabled bays unavailable which was a nightmare for my wife as we had to park over the road by the flower nursery. So if you need a disabled bay I’d think twice if you want to come here especially in the cold and dark

We came for lunch with some friends, for us it was our first visit, and we were made very welcome on checking in for our table (number 10). The restaurant was lovely and very nicely decorated for Christmas. There was a great choice of food menus so something for everyone. Hannah was our main server. She provided such excellent and friendly service and looked after us throughout. Such a refreshing change to have someone who really cared about what she was doing and how she looked after us. We all noticed and commented on how attentive she was. We wish there were more people out there like Hannah! The food was also very good. I have only one comment to make and that was my main course was not very hot. Having said that we had a very enjoyable experience and would like to return.

We Would recommend this restaurant food is excellent, always of a high standard. Varied menu caters for veggies and vegans too. Service is excellent.Today with were served by Emmalina, who took care of all of us. She has served us a few times here, always greets us like a friend, she was helped By Katie who also as served us a lot of times. Emmalina and Katie are a credit to this restaurant, as first impressions also count. All the staff here give you a warm welcome.

This steak house never disappoints. Great food, lovely service, good value for money. This is our place to go to for birthday lunches.

We went for lunch with friends to this restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh , nicely prepared and well presented. The portions were very reasonable too . All the staff took great pride in the service they provided and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for good quality food and service

Visited on a Wednesday evening as a family, this being my first visit to a Miller & Carter. Restaurant itself was pleasant and welcoming, all staff we engaged with were extremely friendly and accommodating too. For me the slight let down was the food temperature. Starters were good and hot, no complaints there at all. The 4 steaks we ordered were all very well cooked (to order) but the onion loaf, was lukewarm at best and halloumi fries were cold. Puddings were all good too. The food tasted good but for the price you pay here I’d expect all my food to be hot, not lukewarm or cold. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night ??

Excellent, very welcoming staff and great food - The highlight was the unexpected surprise dessert for the Birthday guest- and she had aleady ordered a dessert from the menu! We had a great laugh at seeing her eating 2 desserts

My husband and I went to M&C for our anniversary, but unfortunately, we don't plan to return. The meat was overcooked, and the overall quality was lower compared to our previous visits. It felt like a waste of money.

We have used this restaurant on many occasions for family lunches and visited again yesterday. The food is very good but what sets this place apart is the service which is excellent and is every time we’ve been.

Miller and Carter can always be relied on for a good steak. This particular venue is very plush. On two floors and decorated to make you feel like you are stepping into a good steak house. The service was very good, and the steaks were even better. A little pricey but probably worth it. Be careful with the car parking because it can fill up quickly and you might need to park over the road, which is a little dicey.

We visited a few days ago and it was perfectly ok, not outstanding but not awful either.Covid precautions were fine and staff were taking it seriously. Service was good and friendly. Interior was all very average but in fairly good condition. The real issue is the food. Amongst four of us, no one had much good to say about the quality or the standard of cooking. The meals were hot and arrived in good time. As one of my friends said its all just a bit ordinary. That about sums it up.

Not worth the money. Very basic setting, like any chain restaurant. This didn't feel much nicer than a Toby's or a Harvester. The setting was dark, heavy carpets, poor acoustics. The setting really felt quite depressing. On the plus side, parking was easy.The friendly blonde waitress serving our table was great, really helpful and polite.Food was fine, but nothing more than average. I think the half a lettuce in a scruffy bowl is a bit unrefined, but hay-ho! this is served at all of them I suppose. The kid's fish meal was surprisingly tasty.The Miller and Carter in Muswell Hill is a much nicer dining experience, due to the interesting and more luxurious setting, If you're mid way between the two I'd choose that one.

I appreciate this is largely a steak chain, but it wasn't my choice, so I ordered the BBQ ribs, which weren't available due to supply problems. Very little else appealed, so I opted for a selection of sides, including the giant tiger prawn, which also wasn't available. The cauliflower wedge sounded interesting, but turned out to be a quarter of a cauliflower sitting on what was described as sweetcorn puree, but was just a smear of something beige. The advertised pomegranates were apparently hidden (but not found) in the enormous pile of salad leaves which served to disguise the minimal cauliflower content and the occasional sunflower / pumpkin seed was evidently the 'savoury granola'. It tasted of nothing, which is worse than tasting bad. The accompanying potatoes were under-cooked, so were abandoned after one mouthful.My companions all ordered steak - when the waiter warns you that the blue and rare versions could be "chewy", you know it's not good quality.The generous portion of mango, peach and passion fruit Eton mess was delicious, but half-way through became just too sickly.My companions' dessert order was also unavailable.Our waiter was apologetic and didn't charge for my cauliflower, but said the menus couldn't be changed to reflect the items they no longer advertised.Food was presented variously on slates, mini-frying pans and in metal mugs, presumably to detract from the poor quality and limited options.I had been looking forward to this first meal out since lockdown, celebrating a family birthday, but only the company made the 50-minute journey worthwhile. It was my first visit to a Miller & Carter establishment and was also my last.

Before covid we would come here often for date nights. We was a bit aprensive due to the current covid situation. However service from start to finish was the best we've ever had coming here. Our waiter it says on the receipt Rob T was excellent considering he had alot of tables to serve! There only taking contactless/card and we had no cash with us so couldn't leave a tip. But just want to say Rob T you was fantastic! If we could of left a tip we would of! Hope you get some recognition from this! Our food was excellent we had the sharing 16oz steak and it was the best steak we have ever had.Cooked how we wanted it also.Couldnt fault anything tonight! Thank you for making our first date night out go well! Hopefully start to come back regularly again!

Visited this miller & carter for my other halfs birthday. We order two steaks medium and both come welldone. We was then given dirty cutlery, which is worrying given the situation with covid. We was both let down by both service and interior of the restaurant.Won't be returning and won't recommend this miller & carter.

Establishment & staff were lovely, nice clean, comfortable restaurant, ordered two steaks @ £30 each, was expecting better steaks being a steakhouse but they were pretty average have definitely had better quality for the price at other establishments. Accompanied mushrooms, chips etc were nice. Onion loaf was crispy on outside but a little soggy in the centre. Dessert was nice. Being a steak fan though I was disappointed a return visit would not be likely unfortunately.

Returned to celebrate husbands 50th at end of July and had awesome meal with family then returned last week for a family meal under government eat out to help out scheme. Always rely on going here to get a really great steak meal love the onion loaf and peppercorn sauce with ribeye steak.Introduced excellent measures to make you feel safe.Was looked after by a great waiter for birthday meal who recognised us returning and came and said hello which was lovely.Can’t recommend this resistant enough. Feel so lucky to have it local.

Visited here sat 22nd aug first time in months, had a good time. The staff were very welcoming as always, the place was very well set out for social distancing. Yhe service was excellent, the food was spot on we had fillet steak cooked exactly how we asked. But one minor hiccup I had a mango and passionfruit eton mess and the main thing was the meringue of which there was no sign of just thick cream with mango and passionfruit and for this I paid £7.25p. I'm surprised that it was like this as we have always enjoyed the food here

Had a lovely lunch here on Monday with a girlfriend. We were seated upstairs and our waitress explained the whole one way system if we needed to use the lavatories. She was extremely sweet and gave brilliant service. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was fairly young with blonde hair. Our mains were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Unfortunately they had run out of Mac & Cheese and were waiting on a delivery. (Gutted as it’s my guilty pleasure!!!) All in all a very pleasant lunch and everything was spotlessly clean and the social distancing was definitely taken seriously here, we felt very safe. I look forward to returning next week.

Went for dinner on Saturday night and was not disappointed with service, food or atmosphere. Our server Andrea was lovely and attentive. Food wise we both enjoyed starters, mains, dessert, cocktails... the lot!We were sat downstairs in a booth table and the restaurant was full, it created a lovely atmosphere and with hardly a wait on food. Great job!

The food is excellent quality and ample portions. The restaurant always seems busy and popular and has a welcoming ambiance with the friendly staff. If you love steak it is a really great way to treat the family and celebrate birthdays or anniversary's. Even the veggie option is good. Miller & Carter is now a family favorite and brings the best out of us where we can relax and enjoy each others company.

First time at Brookmans Park, was not disappointed... Friendly welcome, was advised of the procedures due to the current Covid situation... Friendly waiter, excellent food, soooo nice, would definitely return. So glad restaurants are now back open. Thank you.

I think that Miller and Carter is a great restaurant for celebrating! Love the fancy mocktails and sweet potato fries. The kids rump steak is to die for- but wish was a little bigger!

We have attended this restaurant several times , always during the week and the service and food has been excellent . However this Saturday was a totally different experience. We struggled to park as not enough parking to cover the size of the restaurant. When shown our table we were put in close proximity to other diners and felt a lack of privacy. We waited over an hour for our main course , I had the pork . Some of the dish was very hot other parts were luke warm. My wife had chicken which was dry and had very little sauce to accompany it. Our sweet order was a shambles as we were given the incorrect dishes . When it finally came it was Eton mess with very little fruit . Like eating meringue and cream.We were fortunate to have a voucher for a free glass of wine but this became embarrassing as the waiter firstly couldn’t scan the code and finally said it had zero value . We had to go through their own terms and conditions to prove that it was correct and acceptable. Finally surprised at the dress code which we understood to be smart casual and yet there were people in jogging bottoms and another in a football shirt. Doubt we’d return , certainly not on a Saturday as it is clear they cannot cope.

Marta was our waitress for the night and was absolutely fantastic, she tended to our every need and ensured all of us had an amazing time. The steak was great and wonderful service.

Visited on Saturday 4th January at 18.30. The service was shocking. We were given other diners food. When we did receive our food my wife’s steak was not cooked as requested and sent back. The saving grace was a senior waitress called Marta who recommended an excellent steak for me and also attempted to hold together the service shambles.
