Music blaring, I was the only customer. I asked them twice to turn it down and they refused. Quaint tea room and blaring disco don't mix.

Found this tea room tucked away near a boat yard in St Osyth. It was Sunday and open for lunch as well. Everything was home made. My husband had delicious vegetable soup with French bread and I had a large quiche salad. Large portions and copious amounts of tea in our pot for two. We finished off with homemade scones, jame and cream, and all for £15.00. Will definitely call in again if in the area. Very friendly service as well.

We popped in for a Sunday roast for the first time since the pub went under new management last year. WOW! The best roast dinner I’ve had in a restaurant ever. The meat was tender, the potatoes were perfectly crisp, the gravy was out of this world. I opted for a side of cauliflower cheese, which was delicious. The service was amazing too, lovely friendly staff who couldn’t have done more for us. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

A regular purchaser. Never had many issues that a worthwhile complaing regarding the pizza. One main issue is delivery time. Over an hour on a few occasions. When calling the same reply it's on its way, no apology. Wouldn't put anyone off overall the pizzas are lovely.!

We called in on the off chance of a room being available on a very busy weekend and were surprised to find not only was there a room but the family who run the hotel were exceptional. They could not have done enough for us and made us feel like part of their family. The room was a good size and very clean, there is a great outside area at the back of the hotel which is very child friendly and seating at the front which we took advantage of after our breakfast where we had tea . They also made room at the front of the property for my husband to park the car..We arrived as strangers and after one night left as friends .. We will definitely be making a return visit as the hotel is only a short walk into town and across the road from the beach and hopefully if available take advantage of one of the balcony rooms at the front which overlooks the sea .
