Family Pizza in Tendring

A regular purchaser. Never had many issues that a worthwhile complaing regarding the pizza. One main issue is delivery time. Over an hour on a few occasions. When calling the same reply it's on its way, no apology. Wouldn't put anyone off overall the pizzas are lovely.!

Mediterranean is better than the Greek from papajhons

Food is great, service can be questionable depending on is on the phone. There is one person who usually rude and stroppy. Always add 15 minutes on to the estimated delivery time.

I’m from London and had a take away from here while in the area. The staff/service was friendly and did not expect the pizza to be as good as it was. Amazing pizzas, full of taste and plenty of toppings. I will be back, thank you

Best pizza I’ve had in ages fresh and delicious. The lady working here was really helpful to me and my 3 kids when we popped in while on holiday. Thank you kids loved their food and my pizza was delicious

We have alot of scam reviews, could be competitors or not we have not had any of our customers who has been food poisoned by us all our toppings are processed we do not handle anything raw, all our products get checked for bfd and any type of damaged packaging. Please stop leaving fake hate reviews please!

I unfortunately got food poisoning from here two weeks ago, I initially thought it was just bad luck, in the last 10 days I am one of 6 people that I know to have sickness and diarrhoea after eating family pizza. That’s people that I know, how many more in Harwich are being violently ill A year ago this was 5* me and everyone that has been ill will never go back

Lady on the phone wasn’t very welcoming,delivery took an hour for one small pizza and they put mushrooms in my pizza when I took them off, if I was allergic to mushrooms wouldn’t of been so lucky.

Two days ago my mum ordered one of each desert to try and the strawberry cheesecake was out of date it was best before 09/05/23

Pizza was disgusting ,really greasy and thick ,missing half toppings selected and chips had no taste , not to mention onion rings without the onions. Waste of £33 and definitely won’t order again

It tasted about the same as Iceland food. Disappointing.

First time using family pizza never again chips were soggy obviously sat in the box too long and pizza had hardly any taste and to top it off delivery driver left without giving change!

Real shame - this place used to be 5/5 but the last few deliveries have been wayyy over an hour for delivery. Which sucks as the site says it should be 45 minutes, not double this. Update the website to include real times. Meanwhile across town at Dominoes they have 25 minute delivery. If an independent chain is going to compete, you’re going to have to improve delivery times.

The staff seemed nice, the pizza was really good and it was done rather quick. I would definitely go here again. Not bad price wise too.

Great price with good food and friendly staff

Spent £42 was zero tomato on the pizza bases,pizza was terrible n just so doughy ,garlic bread just tasted of cheese and NO garlic whatsoever and the onion rings were nearly black!!!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL !!!!! If able to leave zero stars I would have!!! Definitely WONT BE USING AGAIN!!! MUCH better off getting the deal at dominoes pizza!!!!

Great for a quick takeout, Pizzas & Kebabs are great value for money & the Meal Deals are awesome, chips/fries can be a bit hit & miss but normal very good worth a visit👍😀

Family pizza have great deals on, the pizzas are always lovely and fresh. they taste delicious. One thing they could improve on is giving a proper wait time in their website as it always says 25 minutes but everytime i’ve got there either after 25 minutes or just at the 25 minute mark it isn’t done and i have to wait an extra 10-15, however it’s not too big of an issue as i wouldn’t go anywhere else

Helped me out when i was low on money i only had 822 and he let me have it for £8

I usually order and I like it but today I probably called over ten times nobody answered, like what happened? Why is no one answering if you are open???

Pizzas not delivered, called up and was promised pizzas next day with full refund. Got pizzas the next day , refund arrived a few days later.

Amazing pizzas I dont know what cheese they use but it's great and cheaper than dominos only bad bits are not enough sauce on base of pizza and no sause pots for dipping 😱 chicken wings and dippers are very good but again no dips

It used to be a lot better in terms of service. The food is consistent and is a family favorite, we prefer it over Domino's. It really does annoy me when quoted 35 minutes on ordering food hasn't arrived 50 minutes later. When calling to ask where it is being told "10 minutes, we had a mad rush". No apology... Will probably not be ordering again

Fast delivery, pizza was good and not a bad price, but could surely be a bit more generous with toppings at 1800 on a Friday. That really let them down.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had! Smells moldy, uncooked, and tasteless. They didn’t take visa because of an “issue with the internet”, paid cash for the cardboard. For those on their way to the ferry I would opt for Indian in Harwich. You’ll get much better value for your money. Take a look at the photo!!
