Milk Cool in Kensington and Chelsea

My daughter and I just walked past and was captivate by the ice cream and so we walked in. Many flavours to choose from I chose the black vanilla as I was intrigued by it as I had never heard of black vanilla flavour. It was amazing, the ice cream was at a different level. Believe it or not my daughter and I had in our hands a McD's ice cream.. but I had to throw it away after tasting milk cools ice cream which is of a different caliber. A friend of mine recommended this place based on a previous visit so myself and a few other friends decided to go while out in London. Upon walking in, we are welcomed by a small cozy and very well designed shop and beautiful smiles from the ladies behind the counter. Naturally we had not come here before so they were very helpful when asking for recommendations and the such. Eventually i ended up customising my own waffle cone and getting 2 scoops each of black vanilla and strawberry icecream with a few extra toppings. However when i asked for the strawberry i had a feeling that she might have misheard me but i never checked again with her till the icecream came as black vanilla and mango instead. I politely informed the lady that she may have misheard me and that i asked for strawberry instead of mango and she had no issues whatsoever replacing it for me and did so very apologetically. In terms of taste, the icecream was genuinely some of the best ive ever had, the black vanilla is amazing and must be tried and the natural fruit flavours being handmade in the shop, again tasted delicious and they both blended beautifully together. As there were a large group of us the lady even threw in a nice egg puff waffle with a few scoops of icecream on the house! Overall, fantastic customer service and amazing tasting desserts. Would definitely return here again on my next visit to London.

Chanced upon this hidden gem when walking to Portobello market. It sells a variety of natural flavoured ice creams. Ordered the mango ice cream which is smooth and less sweet. The ice cream was beautifully decorated. Other than ice creams, there are other snacks choices too. Environment is very cozy with an art gallery owned by the shop owner.

This is not just beautiful but also tasty! I had the Rainbow cloud cone (black cone) with mango, strawberry and black vanilla flavors and salted caramel drops on top. Sweet!!

We had an amazing ice cream (see photo) everything was great!! from the 3 layers of tasty flavours - black vanilla, strawberry and mango. the textures, the taste was not too sweet. the waffle was great too. highly recommended

Fabulous home made ice cream, crammed full of fresh fruit and so light in texture. We both chose the cone with candy floss which was like a little piece of heaven sitting on a cloud!! Highly recommended!

This is a relatively new business but is suitable for everyone. This ice cream is not only delicious but made from real fruit...and if your not watching your waistline then have it in a cone surrounded by candy floss!! The place is located in a very trendy area so it can be part of a day out and is only 5 minutes walk from Portobello Market. The owners of this establishment are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend tasting the Black Vanilla ice cream.........yes you read right Black Vanilla!!
