Great little takeaway. The best paneer rolls and gol gappe....the pani is the best we've had so far. Can sit in and have a bite to eat. Not a restaurant style of seating, more a barstool style to quickly eat. Katchori and sweets are very tasty. Good menu and good variety. Clean little place on Stoney Lane.

We go here all the time! The best samosas in town. Great service and price. Used them for take aways as well as large catering for events. Would highly recommend both.

Lovely atmosphere. Came here to order 120 Samosas for work. Left with a Tiffin. Lovely fresh curries, starters and sweets.

Great food at Milan’s! One of the best places to eat in Brum. We ate in but loved it so much we took takeaway for tomorrow. Sameel served us and was very welcoming and helpful. We’ll be back very soon!

Amazing service and quality food.

Numerous things to mention : - extremely expensive while food portions are very small which isn’t great - ordered bhelpuri chaats x 5 but got just one sauce pot and without yogurt … wth 😏 - Service is pathetic as they kept you on wait for so long and No Parking is an added headache …. Pls don’t come as it will be a disappointment

I ordered dahi-vada and the date of expiry was torn off when it arrived. I did think why is this section of the lable torn? Then when I opened the box the vada had almost disintegrated in the watery yogurt! I will NEVER order from there again. Hence it was off and out of date!!!!

Dejé a mi entrenador estacionado en el parque Ackers mientras mi grupo hacía actividades. Cogí un autobús 1/2 camino y caminé el resto, pero caminé todo el camino de vuelta en ningún gran tiempo. El hombre a cargo todavía estaba cocinando las samosas, ya que acababa de cumplir 11 años y me preguntó si quería un poco, así que esperé unos 10 minutos para fabulosamente crujientes y samosas rellenas con un chutney picante y estaba bien impresionado, ya que se derritieron en mi boca y eran muy sabrosas, pero no demasiado condimentadas. También tomé 2 bolas de Dahl y un pequeño tadka dahl con arroz (&peas, etc) y los cociné en el microondas para el almuerzo. ¡Toda la orden llegó a un precio razonable de 10 libras! La dalda era una consistencia húmeda para combinar fácilmente con el arroz y tenía un sabor mantecoso encantador, pero no nadar en ghee en absoluto. Sutilmente condimentado y hasta allí con lo mejor que he comido! Las bolas de dalusa eran de una textura y sabor agradables y bastante picantes cuando se sumergieron en el chutney restante. En general, sin duda volvería a visitar tan a menudo como sea posible cuando en la zona y lo recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquier fanático de la comida callejera india que no se enganchan a comer animales descuartizados.

Milans is the only place I can eat samosa from. They are cooked fresh for you and the taste is 100% banging. Great place.

Never received my full order, I had to physically come and get my order. They don’t know how to speak English. And then continue to talk about me to other customers whilst I was waiting for them to sort my order out. POOR UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE! 👎🏽

If you are looking for authentic Indian snacks. This is a place that offers lovely spongy dhokla and many more varieties of sweets and savoury. Definitely will visit again

Food was extremely tasty and inexpensive. Service was very good, the gentleman behind the counter made quite a fuss over my daughter, and was very efficient and polite. Viewing other reviews I can’t help but think a good proportion of them are erroneous, perhaps some sort of small scale smear campaign who knows? At any rate, I have no complaints whatsoever - best samosa chaat I’ve ever tasted in my life. Would recommend this establishment to anybody, they will be catered for.

The worst customer service I had ever seen, I order one curry and roti And i told them to leave it cold. for that as well they took almost half an hour, and when I called to the shop someone Jay named person speak very Rudly and his behaviourit not good at all. Came here as the normal shop we use was closed. I ordered some food but the Indian guy behind the counter handling food with bare hands. Surely should be using utinstiles or throwaway gloves. It was disgusting to be frank, looking back I should have said something but this is basic food hygiene, and it would be an awkward conversation. Will not be going back, ended up throwing the food away, the people behind counter need to learn basic hygiene skills.

Our goto place for samosas etc. Food always looks well presented. The aroma as you walk in reminds me of my childhood, popping down the road to see my Pakistani friends where there was always something cooking. Staff are friendly and attentive. Large queues on occasion, made up of customers from diverse backgrounds. A really brummie gem of a place. 100% recommend.

Amazing food, unbelievable amount on offer, and all fresh and delicious. Snacks, mains and sweets all great - and fantastic value: a filling meal for 2 was £11. Had really good service from Sameel.

I paid for the large hakka noodle boxes and they were less than 3/4th full. Also, barely any vegetables in it and oily. No option to add any more bread for pav bhaji. I'm from India so can guarantee that the bhel that was sent was not proper bhel - it was dry and not with the mint coriander and tamarind chutney as described.

Ordered by Ubereats, dahi vada was the best. Will defo try again. Bhel puri was so so

Disappointing Experience: Poor Service and Subpar Food I recently visited milan's last week with high hopes for a delightful dining experience, but unfortunately, my expectations were far from met. my experience was highly disappointing. The combination of lackluster service and mediocre food left a sour taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally.

I went last Thursday the service was very bad every time when i asked they say 2 minutes only and for 10 samosa i have to wait more than 20 minutes and also samosa is over coocked they need more staff in front.

Please close ur shop you are not capable to cook. Order 30£ of stuff from uber nothing was edible. The thing u passed as dosa I make 10times better at home. Half cooked roti , paneer in liquid gravy, frozen paratha are better than your paratha. Dal again how in the world you can get that wrong

Food as always is amazing! However the unorganised staff and serving process lets them down. Pre-ordered and still had to wait.... and everytime you ask, its always; "5mins"!

The best vegetable snacks especially the kachuri

Prioritise speed of service to uber eats over orders placed in shop. 1 hour advance order over the phone for samosas only was pushed to back of the uber queue and waited further 40 mins in shop. Ubers in and out the door while in shop waiters twiddling their fingers. Suggestion: Close uber orders temporarily when shop busy.

Ordered my food to arrive 4.10 time kept going up my food was stone cold

Ordered hasn’t arrived. Phoned the shop and they don’t have a contact number for the delivery driver. It’s obvious the driver has took it. Not happy.

I bought veg samosas and pakoras from here a few days ago and I have had very bad diarrhea for past 2 days. First time coming to this place after a hearing good things, the samosas were awful, I can get better from big johns. The pakoras were better but clearly something was in the food to give my food poisoning. Never coming back.

Went the shop last weekends very tasty foods and sweets. There is parking problem near the shop. No eat in space. They need some more staff to serve.

Nice selection of Asian sweets, but parking is sooo different as it's on a main busy road. Aloo parata only £ 1.50 -£2 compared to £3.50 from Mushtaq sweet center on Stratford road! It was Very busy when I went and there was only one person serving. No room to eat in .

Fantastic choice for Vegetarians Food so tasty Not expensive My favourite is Hakka Noodles, Curry/Masala chips(proper chips not fries),mix veg tikka,Patra leaves,Mango Barfi(soo tasty) Friendly staff. On street parking. Slight negatives would be food not marked up for allergies (although you can ask) Hot drinks or mango Lassi. By far my favourite takeaway 😋

I wish I could have given Triple ZERO (000). Absolutely Terrible Food and Shameful Customer service. The guy with ROUND MOUSTACHE was : 1. VERY VERY VERY RUDE - He had even looked my 5 year old son angrily, just because he was playing with a toy. My son got scared of him 2. Upon asking for Fresh Bhatura as it was totally STALE and hard to bite ( pls see picture ) , this guy arrogantly replied : Milan Sweet is proudly serving STALE Bhatura for last 40 years and they only make fresh Bhatura in early morning. 3. The Pani Puri was an absolute distaste and upon even asking a lil Extra Paani , The Round Moustache replied in a weird manner saying : I won’t give you extra. What a disgust to their customer service . 4. My son asked for Normal water : they totally declined I would never ever go such places. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID They MUST learn Customer service . VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN SOHO ROAD , Birmingham

Food is good but the service is appalling. If you order delivery you'll get the wrong items / missing items. When you phone then to ask them to put it right they're rude and don't care. There are other restaurants that have just as good food and much better customer service

Dosa and chutney worst ever tasted.

The food was a bit cold and the channa was missing. However, there was extra sauce for the samosas and this was welcome. We've been using Milan since the 1980s and they are excellent.

Peas Kachori are standard however the Pav Bhaji was watery and full of onions. I was looking forward to this meal and did not bother to finish as it was not great. Felt like a wasted journey.

I asked for an item they didn’t have listed on their site but I know they do it in store. I left a note and they were kind enough to fill the boxes with more of the item I wanted. I only needed 12 Ladu and that’s exactly what they gave me. Thank you so much. Great customer service.
