Gorgeous little place, friendly staff and delicious brunch. Definitely a place to visit in Ware especially when there are plenty of sub standard establishments around. It is important to support those that give the customer a memorable experience for the right reasons.

Stopped for a late lunch/quick snack on Sunday after a walk. Polite and friendly service and a delicous bacon bap absolutely stuffed with filling. Tea was hot and strong just as I like it. My husband enjoyed his avocado on toast with poached eggs. Second time we have been here and had great service and food.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. The threshold ramp was too steep for my mobility scooter and there was no space to "take a run at it". The staff blamed this on the architect - but it would be simple and relatively cheap to improve. I asked for black tea with lemon and was horrified that I was charged extra for slices of lemon - no allowance being made for milk NOT provided.

Visited Milady for second time yesterday. Food & service was just as good as our first visit. The lovely lady who served us was so helpful with the little tweaks we made to some of our selections, nothing was too much trouble. Food is cooked freshly and perfectly. We enquired about one of the breads we had with our sandwiches and asked if we could buy a loaf. Unfortunately they had sold out but this dear lady said she would bake a couple for us if we could come back in a couple of hours. We picked them up accordingly and they were just perfect. Thank you, we shall definitely be back.

This place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays even though Google says that it is open. When we got there, there was a massive sign on the door saying that we could not keep prams/pushchairs near the table. My baby can't use a highchair yet. Not baby friendly at all which is a real disappointment.

Went to buy some cakes today, spent around £15 on three cakes and some cannolis. None were fresh which was really disappointing, have no idea how long those cakes sit there.

We came across Mildays in Ware after finishing a walk along the canal and fancied a cup of tea or a snack. Very friendly service and the best delicious warm scone with jam and clotted cream that Ive had in a long time. My husband had a salad with smoked salmon, avocado, rocket and mozzarella served with sourdough bread which he enjoyed very much. Lots of choice on the menu so would definitely go again if we were in the area.

Had a very strange experience here today. I arrived before my friend and requested a table for two adults, a toddler and a baby. The women who greeted me was polite but said prams weren’t allowed around the tables. I said I would fold mine up and my friend could put her in place of a chair, the women seemed to suggest this might not be ok but said we can sort it out when my friend arrived. Friend and baby got there and a man said hello but looked concerned with the buggy. We said the baby is sleeping and we can slot her pram where a chair had been taken away. He said no, pulled another seat to the table said she ‘baby can go here’ I have no idea if he meant the newborn was meant to sit on the chair or if he wanted the carrycot to go on the chair, either way it didn’t make any sense as the chair was taking up more space than the pram. He said we couldn’t keep her in the pram, so my friend said ‘ok shall we go then?’ And he just said ‘yes you will need to’. Never in my life have I been treated that way! I don’t know what this man has against mums but his coffee shop will not be successful if he cannot accommodate coffee mums on a Friday morning. He’d prefer to lose money than have a pram tucked away out of anyone’s way. Bizarre!! We went across the road to Rainbows where they were more than helpful and even gave my son a lollipop

Went to Ware as never been before, found this tearoom looking very quaint. Went with my husband and had lunch. We both ordered the breakfast baguette and a pot of tea for two. Service was quick and efficient. The tea was lovely and hot and the food was presented well. The baguettes were warm and the poached eggs perfectly cooked. Very filling as it had bacon and sausage too. The place was very clean and following COVID regulations with hand sanitisers for you to use and shields between tables. Prices were very reasonable and was constantly busy when we were there. If I was to go to Ware again, I would definitely go to Milady.

Booked for Afternoon Tea on Mother's Day for 6 people. Welcomed on arrival, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Rolls filled with salmon and cream cheese, tomato mozzarella and pesto, ham and cheese. Would have been nice to have cream cheese and cucumber or egg and cress which are Afternoon Tea staples, but the rolls were delicious. We had a vegetarian in our group who was catered for although there was gelatine in one of the cakes but we checked this before eating and staff confirmed so all fine. Our guest with a nut allergy was unwell and so not able to join us (we ate his share!) but thinking afterwards, there was battenburg cake on his plate and marzipan is usually made from almonds which is worth checking. I had a glass of prosecco, smoothies also an option and of course Tea and coffee (lots of options). There was so much cake and all delicious, the scones were light and very yummy! We had a disabled person with us, and as long as you are seated in main area access is great and toilet accessible. Staff very friendly, offered more rolls although we had plenty. Will definitely go back.

After visiting this cafe regularly for breakfast every week, was extremely upset when myself and friend was served by young waitress who gave us serious stare with not one thank you or smile, when serving and paying our bill. I did ask for a smile from her when paying bill as was offended by this treatment to regular customers. She then looked at my friend and said she would like a thank you !!!! We were both upset and offended by this as we always say please and thank you but don’t expect to be told off by a waitress saying this. When speaking to manager he did not seem to care and I had to ask him to apologise on her behalf. He did reluctantly mumbled something. As regular customers to this cafe and always had a polite hello and goodbye in past and definitely always say thank you as absolutely say this everywhere we go. This treatment was completely wrong and extremely upsetting. Needless to say we will no longer be having breakfast there.

We love Milady & this was always our go to place for some nice food & coffee. But over the past few months they have removed all but 1 highchair & stated only 2 buggies are allowed in there at any one time. After trying to visit again there is now a sign saying no buggies in the table / seating area at all, there is no reason given for this. Really really disappointing to see that they have basically made it impossible to visit if you have a young child, it’s just very unwelcoming now. Such a shame!

Since this cafe has been taken over from Belgique by a lovely couple, it has been transformed. It is bright and welcoming, with a huge selection of cakes, and lots of other things on the menu too. I ordered toast this morning, and it was really delicious bread, not just your average loaf. The cappuccino was also great, and you can tell they use excellent coffee. The best part about this place though is the people that run it, they are so friendly and kind to all their customers and you can see that they have regulars coming back time and time again because of the service they receive. It is definitely my favourite place to go for breakfast, as well as cake!

My partner and I went in for the 1st time since it changed ownership. Don't get me wrong, it's okay for your average cafe it's just disappointing that they are trying to copy what used to work with out the quality and selection that belgique used to offer. Cakes are still excellent despite the choice being reduced but the food in the cafe was very disappointing along with the service. The lady working there wanted to spend most her time chatting with one table and ignoring everyone else.

I used to love popping in for a cuppa and cake but after eating lunch here I wouldn’t go back. It looks posh but the food is bland and overpriced, the eggs have no colour or flavour and are from caged hen eggs. The cakes are great but less choice than before.. it’s just a place going down hill rather than up with pride.

After lunch here today with ourc17 month old grandson I was told there was no baby changing table in the toilets (it's advertised as a family friendly pub)so as a 68 year old grandmother I had to change my grandson on the FLOOR of the disabled toilet.I then disposed of his UNSOILED nappy(it was just wet) wrapped it over and place it in the flip lid bin in the toilet) The manager then came over to me and informed me in front of a FULL restaurant to remove the DIRTY nappy from the toilet bin and takecit home"We are a pub"we do jot have baby changing facilities"???.It was not dirty and I felt humiliated in front of the other diners.I shall not return.
