Finding this authentic, high quality eatery was a delightful and very pleasant surprise! Staying at the Hilton in Praed street offers a plethora of places to eat..from basic chain burger places to a number of finer dining restaurants. After a stroll, we viewed the menu outside and pleased with what we saw, in we went. The greeting from front of house Sophie was very warm and we were pleased to have a choice of tables. Mihbaj is not fancy but has a lovely homely and relaxed vibe..simple decor and quote plain tables. However, the standard of the food my wife and ordered and we're served was stunning! Arabic food offers up a wonderful mix of tastes, preferences and dietary needs. We ordered hummus and falafel for starters and both were generous servings. The hummus was some of the best we have ever tasted, as was the halloumi, both served with freshly made pitta bread, served in a quirky but perfect bag. My vegetarian wife ordered the halloumi burger, which came with delicious french type fries. The burger was nicely spiced with a sauce, not overpowering at all but lifting the halloumi burger up a notch or two. I opted for the mixed grill, a wonderful and flavoursome mix of chargrilled chicken and lamb, accompanied with a great salad and rice. Mihbaj deserves all possible credit for the ambiance, authenticity, food quality, service and value. With a bottled drink each, two substantial starters, our outstanding mains, the bill was a very acceptable £56.70. This will definitely be a place to visit again, when next in London. Sophie is a most charming front of house and the restaurant/cafe a delightful, relaxed place to eat, serving up stunning food from a chef who clearly cares about the dishes that leave his busy kitchen.

A fabulous, friendly and quiet coffee house. The coffee is great and the food delicious. My partner and I nearly always come here when we come to Paddington. There’s a lovely semi-outdoor seating area at the back with cushioned seats that we always try to nab!

Delicious Palestinian/ Jordanian food, good value, lovely people and great vegan options! Best hummus I’ve had in so long and amazing flavours in all the dishes. Really cosy vibe inside too! Can’t believe it’s so close to Paddington station - will definitely be going back.

I have visited this cafe past Friday afternoon, it is a lovely place i really liked the homy mood, Mohammed who served me was very kind and friendly , the middle eastern decor and the beautiful Arabic writings are wonderful and the quality of the food was top i loved the cappuccino i had no comparison to those expensive tasteless cappuccinos you get in the stations ,unfortunately for me my appetite was not open this afternoon so i just took a cappuccino with a muffin which was also very tasty (you can feel the quality) , but the menu i have read was very tempting i hope i can visit again to try especially the middle eastern Palestinian/Jordanian dishes

We took a group of young people to Mihbaj yesterday after a day trip to London, and had a buffet style meal in a room of our own. There werex15 of us and the room was the perfect size. The food was fresh and delicious, with more than enough for everyone, we even brought the leftovers home in boxes. Super -close to Paddington station, so it was an ideal ending for our day out, knowing the station was only 5 minutes walk away. I would thoroughly recommend.

Hosted a fund raising event- Sayeed and his team are the most amazing, generous, accommodating and hospitable people- nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was authentic Palestinian cuisine with starters, main, desert and Arabic tea. It was delicious. This is a hidden gem in London and well worth your time sourcing it out. You will never stop coming back. Thank you Mihbaj for a memorable evening.

This is a hidden gem of a place, I can’t believe I’ve only discovered it now! This family run Middle Eastern restaurant helped host our event. They were very accommodating and attentive. Middle Eastern food that is beautifully presented and tastes truly delicious. The fresh juices are pure and true. We came across Mijbah by chance and we enjoyed dinner so much, we returned for breakfast.

One of the most deliveries meddeterrian restaurants in London ! The minute you step into the restaurant you are greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff members. Very nice atmosphere with cultural decorative wall prints that bring so many memories back. Palestinian cuisine is known for their authentic “Aubergeine maqlobeh” where nowhere does it better than Mihbaj. One warmth spoon of Maqlobeh is full great spices that make it an indulgent Hommous was perfectly done! I suggest trying with fresh baked bread. After all of that, I was shocked once I knew it was homemade prepared from scratch. The top king of the menu is the “Shish Barak” dumplings cooked in yogurt sauce. It was an absolute divine choice to order. Loved the taste, texture and everything about this dish. I have tried it before in many different places but always was disappointing, however at Mihbaj the experience was pleasing and will always come back again to order it!! All in all, can’t recommend Mihbaj enough!! Was a lovely experience trying the food for the first time and will be visiting more often with family and friends!!

We ate breakfast here the first day and it was so good we didn't bother trying anywhere else for the rest of our trip. The food took about 20 minutes, but the wait was totally worth it every time.

Had lunch solo, A small cafe feel with some seating outside , at the window, the garden area and also downstairs. Sat at the window with two seats, the single adjacent to as a bit cramped. Had an amazing dish a called Maqluba which was excellent. Tasty yellow rice with cripsy onion topping and also almond flakes. A very nice sauce accompaniment, could do with more lamb pieces.
