Amazing food, thos is our second large order for a birthday gathering. Everyone at the gatherings have enjoyed the food and requested further orders. Pizza and chicken wings are incredible. Cheesy garlic bread and chips are delicious.

Apparently these are the best pizza’s in Derby, they’re not too bad but definitely not the best, the pizza base is nice and soft unlike most other places furthermore the price on the paper menu is less than the website therefore expect to pay a couple of quid more.

We’re not from around the area and ordered some food which was late. I rang up to ask how long they thought it would be to be answered by the rudest person who just stated the food was on its way. I asked how long it might be and was told again the food was on its way and then they hung up. Safe to say if we come to this area again we won’t be using this takeaway which is a shame.

everything was perfectly cooked, chips arrived crispy and all of it was hot 😁 we will order again for sure don't normally leave a review but it was just so good 🤣

Best Food available in Derby. This place was recommended by a friend. The pizzas 🍕 are one of the best I've had. Rated 10/10. Always on point. One of our Goto takeaways and delivery is available in many areas but Always better to pick up and order in store as they always have good deals. HIGHLY Recommended a must try.

Pizzas are amazing as are the burgers and wings. Kebabs aren't so good so stick to the pizza as they're better than dominos

Pizza soggy and cold, burger was squashed and inedible. Called up store spoke to numerous staff who called me a liar some who were aggressive and some. Who couldn't understand english, i asked to be passed on to. Store manager and he didn't believe me and had to ask another team member to confirm some details. Shop never put me on hold and i heard remarks when they were talking about me such as ' guras is back complaining and they are doing my head in'. Eventually they redelivered the burger which took an additional 30 mins. A redelivery of a burger is no good for 2 soggy and cold pizzas a squashed burger and bad customer service. I would of awarded it 0 stars if it was an option they would recieve that..

Worst donner meat I've ever encountered, was oily, spongey. No taste, looks like the fake donner meat you'd buy from heron foods or Iceland, save your money.

Charged more than the menu was advertising. Staff rude. Doesn't look particularly clean either. Avoid.

Says bacon burgers. Got a turkey ham rasher. It doesn't state that . False advertisement and allergen issues with food colourings that are not made on the just eat app. Just say you serve halal food only on the just eat app so I can avoid it.

This place surprised me , food was ok , the burgers probably being the best , service is shocking, their prices are completely diffrent than what's on the menu and charge you more , I showed them the calculation the guy who served me his reply was the machine has this price. Like I said food wasn't that bad but the rest uh uh won't be using again, nor recommend.

Best burgers! Proper seasoned beef smash burgers, even in the kids meals. You really can't get anything better anywhere else near by! Excellent value for money too. Our kids favourite weekend treat by far!

Good pizza, nice and thin crust, well priced.

Delivery on time, but one of the pizza's was over cooked and the other pizza had added green chilli's on a Margherita, but you could not feel any heat from the chilli's. The warm milk cookie dough was burnt and stuck to the parchment paper. Not a great first time experience.

Took over an hour to deliver two pizzas and some cookies to an address less than a mile away. When they finally arrived one pizza was the incorrect size, both cold and burnt cookies👍 Don’t bother

Best food in town! Highly recommended, pizza is definitely better than dominoes and papa jones. Must ask for garlic sauce! With New management quality has improved a lot.

Food is nice but decor very dated

When this place first opened it was wonderful probably one of the best pizza places in the area proper pizza with quality Ingredients made by the old owner who knew how to make quality food. However the last few times I've ordered from here since the new management the food has been inedible and revolting made with disgusting cheap Ingredients by people who don't know how to make pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the cheese consisted of orange greasy mush and and the pepperoni were like spam. The chicken strips were something vaguely resembling chicken coated in slime and then bread crumbs completely different to how they used to before the new owners. Would not recommend this food to a dying dog

Really disappointed with our food tonight almost an hour and a half late chips hard in the middle cold and soggy at the ends burgers we were not very impressed with and my husband very disappointed in the chicken tikka pitta . This is normally the best burgers and chips we have ever had but we won't be ordering from here again .

ORDER NEVER ARRIVED!!!! Will not be ordering again unhelpful and rude staff when called said my house number was not a real house number and claimed the order was complete meaning the money went to them even though my order never turned up. Would not offer any compensation at all for the Inconvenience.

The meat was slimey and undercooked, the chicken on my kebab was like chewing gum, the donner meat wasn't much better. I was not impressed at all, it was completely inedible. I again agree with other reviews the nan bread was damp and doughy, im not entirely sure if it was from the chicken on top but i had to throw the whole thing in the bin. The customer service on your replies to previous reviews is also absolutely appalling, there's a complete lack of accountability.

Ordered via Just Eat. Told delivery was 1.5hours which is fine, I understand places like this can get busy. They waited the full 1.5hours then cancelled the order. Terrible service.

Not going to lie first time we orderednfrom here and the food did taste nice, and was on point however we found not 1 but 3 hairs in our pizza box and when we called to complain he said I'm sorry what else can we do, didn't even offer a replacement or a refund or a discount off next order. Disappointed as the food was very nice but the hairs were off putting

Ordered through uber eats and wasn't dissapointed. Food was early which is a bonus. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I gave 4 stars purely cos the bun was a little soggy as they wernt grilled but nothing major in the grand scheme of things. Proper enjoyed it and would deffo order again

We have been ordering from Mighty Joes for a good few years now and we always enjoy the food and the service they provide. Much better of both than the more popular chains.

Slow delivery, Please get some more drivers working at the weekends. Decent food but are making mistakes by not getting this working correctly.

Ordered two veggie 14" pizzas, there were very few toppings on the pizzas apart from 3 Olive slices, about 4 slices of green pepper and 2 slices of mushroom on a pizza of that size. It was actually hilarious, we ended up making a joke of it at home. But honestly - it's a complete waste of money. Just stick to Dominoes or Pizza Hut, more ingredients, fresher ingredients but for same price and 1000% better taste and more value for money.

Absolute shambles of a service! Ordered a pizza and chips for which I paid nearly £20. When it arrived the chip box was melted, all the chips were stuck together and cold. The pizza resembled nothing better than a 89p Aldi pizza with a few bits of vegetables thrown on. I rang up to complain, got fobbed off and told the manager wasn’t in to speak with me. I have just getting off the phone with him now and was told there isn’t anything he can do because it’s only my opinion that the pizza and chips tasted awful. The manager claimed the pizza looked up to scratch therefore must have tasted nice. At one point he even said he knew it tasted nice, this was when I sarcastically remarked he must have telepathically tasted it as I was eating it! To which he agreed he could! The customer service from this establishment was diabolical. After having travelled from Newcastle to visit my ill Nana, all I wanted was to relax with some nice food following a long journey! Instead I ended up with total tripe, but after having spoken to the manager it was the customer service that let me down the most! Disgusting and vile!

Delicious pizza, chips and garlic bread. With a wide variety of pizza toppings for a great price, you can't go wrong with Mighty Joe's Pizza. The pizza is not oily and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Shop just opened up and I got to say the chips were great, the nuggets were great and also the onion rings were gorgeous. Next time I will try out the Pizza's on offer and what I have seen from the other reviews since the shop just opened they are the best in Derby, so I will have to taste that view for myself. All in all Mighty Joe's are off to a good start and hopefully could become one of the next big takeaway's in Derby, hey! if that they best of the lot.

I ordered hot dog's but wow they were really bad 👎 They using frozen one that u can buy it in shop, it's not hot dog at all just waste of money!!! Their food quality is awful never again ...

Fresh ingredients and full of flavour, Best pizzas in Derby without a doubt.

Decent quality food from this takeaway. Food was ready within a few minutes after ordering. Purchased one dip with this meal and there was another free dip inside; bargain. Would definitely purchase food from this takeaway again in the future. Taste of food rating: 8/10.

Getting charged full menu price for a thin crust pizza, Which having forked out over £20 for two, And resembles something from Pizza Express, I'm disappointed.

Definitely my to-to place for a good value for money meal. Very accommodating of different dietary requirements for my Vegan girlfriend who cannot obviously eat cheese. The meal for one is only £6.49 and comes with a 9" pizza with three toppings (cheese already included!) I love to have the BBQ base sauce on mine. It also comes with a portion of fries and a can of pop. Would recommend to anyone in the Alvaston/Allenton/Osmaston area.

Terrible quality of life in the Just Eat menus. Went to order a £20 family meal and none of the pizzas specified (Tandoori Chicken in particular) said that they had green peppers & onion. Terribly dissapointed as I don't like green peppers & onion and was going to call to complain but found this. Truly dissapointed and feel ripped off. Do not false advertise your menus!
