A really excellent place. Super service - friendly, warm, and attentive - and the kitchen definitely knows what they're doing. Everything we had was beautifully prepared and seasoned, and nothing was too much trouble. I was a bit worried before taking the chance on this new place as it looks sort of dark from the outside and quite plush, and being where it is (basically Marylebone) I thought it'd be "just another posh place where they don't really care". But no! It was fab. A great new find for us and somewhere we'll be going back to regularly. NB They were doing brunch at the weekend as well as the lunch menu and the brunch food was definitely a cut above.

Mielo is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the middle of Maryleborne. The service was excellent, and we had a wonderful lunch here. Our main dishes were black cod (can’t find this everywhere) and salmon. All our dishes were excellent.

Mielo was a fantastic end to a long day. We arrived for dinner and sat in a relaxing, calm environment. The mood was perfect for a wind down dinner. We ordered a couple appetizers and main courses. The beef carpaccio was a big hit and the sea bass was our favorite dish. Service was excellent. The lamb loin was a bit overcooked but was very flavorful. The chicken dish was absolutely wonderful and surprised us with it flavor. The sauce was excellent.

This was a great restaurant in the Marylebone area of London. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Drinks were good and the steaks were great. They pay attention to allergies as well. Atmosphere was great. It's a nice place to celebrate your birthday or anniversary.

My fiancée and I were looking for a nice restaurant for a Saturday night in London and Mielo did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and so was the service. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back.

A great experience with outstanding service! We booked this place after randomly seeing it on the Fork (30% off discount on food) for our anniversary. Food was amazing and the lady that helped us paid attention to every detail, from offering water for our flower bouquet to asking for feedback on the food and offering us chocolates on our departure. Rarely also you see offering free bread, hummus and olives as a welcome gesture!! Highly recommend!! Average price £60-70 pp with starters, mains and a bottle of wine.

Having spent several hours with the transport museum secret tour team exploring Baker Street Underground Station, we capped off an excellent afternoon with a late lunch at Meilo Restaurant. The food was delightful and very plentiful. we shared the Spinach Tortilla and Zucchini Fritters and for main I had a superb Grilled Seabass. Most delicious. The staff were really fresh and attentive and we had a wonderful meal - thank you.

Very very disappointing! Staff were excellent, attentive and well trained but food - well take the sea bass ceviche - it was supposed to be a clever take on a staple but the result was half a dozen very small bits of sea bass in a bland sauce presented in fruit shells. Come on just stick to the simple food. My squid ink linguini was like paste - way way overcooked. The lamb shank was excellent. We had a range of deserts and all were far too sweet. And the bill - way over the top! Sorry but I just do not understand the other comments

Great service, we enjoyed the live band but food was very average and not cheap for what it is, so we won’t go back and can’t recommend Salmon was bland and beet goat cheese salad very disappointing I am afraid

We spotted this restaurant, on Paddington Street very near Baker Street, during the walk from our hotel in the Marylebone neighborhood to the pickup point for an all-day tour of the Warner Brothers studios in the suburbs, where much of the Harry Potter films were made. The menu looked appealing and we made an online reservation for that evening. Good move. Food and service were first-rate and there was even live music (singer and guitar). Planning our trip to London, I didn't check out restaurants that weren't close to our hotel, the splendid Marylebone Hotel. Mielo was a lucky find.

Went to Mielo on Friday night , the place was quiet when we arrived at 6.30pm but soon filled up and was full when we left , so I would definitely book ahead. After being shown to a table and given the menu we noticed that there was no beer or lager on the menu, however if you ask they do keep a selection so not to worry. We ordered two starters and two mains. I chose the spinach frittata which was an absolute triumph whilst my wife decided on the burrata with cherry tomatoes ...again delicious. Just after the drinks were delivered to the table the waitress returned with a free of charge pre starter selection of olives, crushed avocado and a basket of fresh warm flatbread all of which was gratefully accepted and consumed forthwith. Main course choices were mushroom risotto and grilled salmon with green beans and a side of roast potatoes both plentiful, well cooked , delicious and hot. The menu is unusual , refreshing and not too overbearing . The staff are professional and very friendly and the atmosphere very warm and welcoming. We will definitely return and would recommend Mielo to others. If you are in the area give it a try I think you will be impressed.

This is a very nice place, clean and taken care of (bathroom included). The staff is nice and fast. Food was very good and with a selection that made it difficult to choose from. Wine was also good. We’ll be back for sure.

Decided to try Mielo for a team lunch as we hadn’t been since it had opened and it’s right around the corner from the office! The staff were incredibly helpful, answering every question we had. We had a baby with us and they made sure we had everything we needed and even went around us to not get in the way of the baby, which was really thoughtful and very appreciated, even though it was a bit awkward for them having to pour water from the other side of the bench. The food tasted fantastic and was really big portions. The set menu was also great value! Looking forward to going back! Would thoroughly recommend.

I love an open kitchen. It inspires confidence. Spacing of tables is perfect. The room is spacious, sophisticated and relaxing. Tableware is excellent and so was the service. Seabass was perfectly cooked, perfectly boned. - but under seasoned and I eat as little salt as possible. Overall, an excellent meal - a restaurant to recommend and return to.

Atmosphere is pleasant with some mediterran feel to it. Food was good (although nothing spectacular) and the portions sizeable. Prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. Service was very good. Initially music was rather loud (we happened to sit under one of the speakers), but volume was turned down immediately after request. All in all: good value for money.

mixed feedback, we had 4 dishes, 2 were perfect (lamb and salad), but the salmon was dry. The burger was actually good but the meat was quite strongly seasoned with a spice that was not OK for a child. The service is very good, there was acceptable live music on a Saturday evening

We went to Mielo fairly early on a Sunday evening. The place was empty but pretty soon after it filled up, impressive when it was a really rainy day. Whilst we waited fr our friends we ordered a bottle of Albarino from a good but short wine list. The wine was very good. I had a fresh orange juice which was delicious We ordered olives, which were large and plump and we were handed complementary flatbreads, avocado humous and padron peppers. All very good but it did mean we had no capacity for starters We had coctails when our friends arrived and they were good We had lanb chops, lamb shank, lanb loin and the baked salmon with sides of spinach, fries and a Grek salad. All were generous, well cooked and very tasty. We had a bottle of the Greek red, to go with the mains, (Strofilia Mountain Fish Agiorgitiko) which was interesting with a bit of fizz on the tongue The service was good and friendly All in all a nice experience
