We had a pre theatre meal and it was super. The steak was amazing and cooked exactly how we asked. The service was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. Prices average compared to other steak houses just remember you need to order sides if you like things like mushrooms or tomatoes etc. Great selection of food and love they offer camembert as a starter and a dessert !!! Have not been here for a number of years as was not impressed with either the food or the service on my last visit. However, today I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. We all went for the set menu, I had the cauliflower curry with a side of fries (😬). The potions were unexpectedly immense for a lunchtime meal, so much so I had to have my dessert as a takeout! Only (very small) niggle was the waiting time for our food, making our lunch break longer than it should have been 🤷‍♀️

I had heard great things about Middletons but sadly it did not live up to expectations. To start with, parking is easy especially in the evening. The restaurant itself is lovely, well laid out and spotlessly clean. The gentleman who greeted us and took the order was very friendly and pleasant. We had booked in advance and our table was ready. There is a good selection of options on the menu. I did not have a stater although my friends did. They did say that they were not overly impressed. I ordered a medium rare steak (whereas everyone else ordered medium) with a sauce. When my meal was brought out, the server stated it was medium. I sad that I had ordered medium rare to which the server said it was medium rare. It quite clearly was medium well but she was not accepting this and argued with me over it. The salad was nice but swimming with water. The fries were good but not a huge amount. My friend wanted a salad without Parmesan on and staff were not very helpful with accommodating this. I was brought the wrong sauce and again a staff member argued if it was (it was the wrong sauce). The staff asked twice if we needed anything and then did not bring what we had asked for. The service was chaotic and rude (especially with how good the person taking the orders had been). The desserts were nice but not reflective of the price. Overall it was an okay meal (made better by the NHS discount that we were grateful for) but overpriced and not great service (needless to say we did not pay the service charge).

Amazing bottomless brunch to celebrate my niece beating cancer. Joe our waiter was amazing!!! So friendly and nothing was too much for him. Whatever he is being paid is now where near enough.

Had a lovely first time at Middletons Steakhouse & Grill. We were recommended by friends and so glad we had an Easter Friday treat. Joe was our host and he couldn’t have been more attentive. Checked we were happy, asked if we needed more drinks, we didn’t have to wait long between starters, mains and desserts. We look forward to our next visit!

Came here two years ago when it was excellent this visit however not so good , for such a popular and busy restaurant it is really understaffed long waits to order and longer waits between courses Overcharged for the kids 3 course fixed meal the bill shows them as having 4 courses Then being charged an extra 10% for this slow service is a joke as it was not mentioned during booking or ordering. On the plus side the food we had apart from the roast beef (stringy/tough) was good

Absolutely incredible food cooked by Mark the head chef. It was the best steak we have had for a long time. Hats off ti a chef who is passionate and very capable of cooking the perfect steak. Service was spot on too.

We stopped off on the way back from a conference and was instantly greeted by Avgis. We had calamari for starters and burgers for mains, the food was delicious but the service was the highlight of our visit. Avgis was very attentive and polite - he is definitely a credit to the team!

We dined here on Saturday night. Restaurant was busy but no way near full but the service was painfully slow. We ordered pork bites and calamari to start. This took about 40 minutes to arrive and we were gobsmacked when we saw it. There were THREE small fatty pieces of pork with a bit of garnish and the calamari was mainly batter, these were £7.95 EACH absolute rip off. We both had steak as our main, these took another 30 minutes after we finished the starters. The steaks were very good. We also had a bottle of Shiraz at £25. The bill came to £102 for 2 of us as they had added a £10 service charge. I only wish I was brave enough to ask them to remove it as that’s just taking the mick, the service was average and very slow, I hate them adding this on and not leaving it to the customer to decide. If we came again I would not waste money on a starter and would ask to pay the tip in cash if deserved , but I probably wouldn’t return.

Booked lunch for a family birthday celebration, with two children and three adults. What an awesome time we had! Not only was the food delicious, Alex looked after us incredibly well, great banter, excellent with the children and just so welcoming. Only the children had dessert, but a Happy Birthday platter was delivered to the birthday girl, this wasn’t requested but was a really lovely gesture. Thank you Alex and the team!

Went here for a meal last night. Ordered scallops for starter then a burger and fries for a main. They forgot the starter and sent the burger. So she took the burger back. Then the starter came out which consisted of 4 tiny 5 p sized frozen scallops for £10 odd quid. (Refused to pay for that) They then brought the burger back out that had been sat there waiting. It was very dry so I asked to box it up and gave it to the homeless man outside. The waitress was very good though. Won’t be going back.

Came in with my partner tonight and was blown away by the food and the service. Olivia and Joe looked after us amazingly despite being busy. We both ordered the main ribs that just fell off the bone with little to no fatty meat. And Joe reccomened the espresso martini which was to die for. Great job. We will definitely come back again soon!
